Cafe Gratitude - Larchmont
It was basically very nice. there were a lot of empty tables but everyone was squished together as if to make it easier for the servers. We felt like we had no room and everyone was on top of each other.
Had a great lunch. We aren’t vegan (but do have celiac) and we all loved everything we ordered. The portions are large so we couldn’t finish everything but we loved the menu so we didn’t want to share so we could try lots of items. Buffalo cauliflower.
The bowls are tasty and filling, which was pleasantly surprising to me as a non-vegetarian dining with vegan colleagues.
The guacamole’s perfect balance of salt and citrus with nice blend of texture, and the homemade tortilla chips are out of this world!
Not cheap but very tasty and healthy — and with friendly people hosting and serving. A mainstay of mine.
The restaurant has a very casual atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and generous. Of course,. The food was great.
The buffalo cauliflower app was good. My friend I ordered the pulled mushroom sandwich and it was disappointing. Tasted like artificial smoke. We also had to really flag down our waiter. Not worth the price
The food is excellent. The Torta Chopped Salad with Mushroom Carnitas was one of the best salads I've had. Staff was courteous and attentive. Food came out very fast. Great atmosphere. A bit pricey for a salad but that's to be expected at a vegan/vegetarian restaurant. I will definitely go back!
Noise level is ridiculous.
Seating was crowded - cafe chairs bumping into the people behind us and sitting directly over two other diners. Awkward and strange.
I would never go back unless we sit outside.
Leftover entree dish had soured by next day.
Also they were sold out of the only 2 desserts we were interested in.
Gluten free options were difficult to identify.
coffee & matcha not palatable
overcharged for replaced coffee & coffee sent back
my guest like breakfast taco pancakes were cardboard need to update kitchen so many more vegan options ingredients to use to make lighter tastier pancakes& way better matcha& coffee
service not great
Had the Brussels sprouts and the fried mushroom sandwich and both were delicious. The iron skillet cookie was out of this world. Want to request the fried mushroom sandwich be a permanent menu fixture.
Service was very friendly and efficient. Can't wait to come back.
Great food at an affordable price. Took my mom here for mother’s day and the whole family loved it! The service was great and I will definitely be back. My only wish would be that there was more outdoor seating.
I am Vivid, I am Empowered, I am Cozy...This is what I ordered over Mother's Day since the establishment encourages patrons to order the items on the menu under their code names and with the sentence "I am...". Ok maybe I made it sound lame, but it really is not. My mom, wife, sister and college age daughters thought it was just the right touch in completing a healthy vibe for our breakfast together. BTW the food was really good and it satisfied both my Vegan sister's needs while not alienating my 73 year old mother's sensibilities. The service was bright, cheery and competent and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent there. It's nice to know that there are healthy places to go out to eat at that leave one with a good fresh feeling as well. Well done!
First time there —it was everything I hoped it would be. I wish I lived closer I would be there more often
This place has a nice attitude, but is a bit expensive.
Cauliflower - great. Macrobiotic bowl - very good, but the sea vegetable could have been better. Indian bowl (Humble?) - excellent because a little sweeter (with chutney) than the macrobiotic bowl. All the drinks were dissappointing from a Michelada, to a Pear cocktail (with sherry), to a wellness shot (Brave) with lemon ginger turmeric etc. Sad that they ran out of the key lime pie, so we couldnt try.
The “carnitas” is a $4.5 add on... it is literally a teaspoon worth. Left hungry after $45 for lunch
One of my fave places! The staff at the Larchmont location was so helpful and nice.
One of my FAVORITE vegan gluten free places to eat! The nachos to share are amazing, the indian bowl is the best and the black bean burger is awesome. Also, I love the tumeric latte. Everything is yummy! Service is great. Perfect place for a date, getting coffee/lunch with a friend or stopping in just for a juice.
Amazing place!!! I took my best friend there because she can’t have gluten and meat. The food was amazing and even though being gluten free and no meat (for all the doubters), it was so flavor full and full of so much goodness and so filling. And the theme of the restaurant is all affirmations and positivity.
Never fails, always consistently good. Whenever I want excellent and healthy food, Cafe Gratitude is the place for my family and friends.
Very chill and quiet with a healthy and nutritious menu.
This is my first time taking the journey of being a vegan, and this restaurant has made me like my decision even more! The food is so delicious!
Love this place and our server was the sweetest guy!
When our group of 4 got its food it was not at all hot...
The staff is always friendly and genuinely amazing.
The food is expensive, but you get what you pay for- if you want vegan food that is all organic and healthy, you'll pay for it, right? My only complaint is that the skillet cookie I ordered was WAY overdone and very unimpressive for the $12 I spent. I never saw the waiter until 20 minutes later, so I couldn't send back.
This place never disappoints, and I sincerely mean that. Hadn’t been here in two years. Wasn’t sure what it would be like. Came here for a date, and the food, attention to detail and overall experience was phenomenal. Not sure how these guys consistently keep up this level of quality, but theyre amazing, the entire staff.
How much do I love the ability to have a positive affirmation while I dine? So much so that I’ll eat at any location in Southern California!
What a disappointing experience! I've been to the Venice location several times and was so excited to chose this Restaurant for my Birthday lunch with a good friend... after raving about what a cool experience CG offers. How embarrassing! Our waitress was so lack luster, and you could tell hated her job. The irony that she works at Gratitude Cafe. She offered very few recommendations regarding menu options when asked and I don even recall her checking on us. With the many options in LA, I'm bummed that this location will never make it on my list again.
Cool place, amazing food, slow service. Would recommend the smoothies!!
Food was great. Service was on point - our table was ready and even when we were just chatting they weren't overly eager to kick us out. Look forward to going back.
delicious and healthy great service nice decor sat on the patio
As always, Cafe Gratitude delivers on service and fantastic food.
This place never disappoints.
Wonderfully friendly service, delicious vegan food - home run!
Amazing vegan place with yummy vegan dishes ! Holy Mole try the chilaquiles with mole sauce superb! My hubby had the tofu n tempeh bbq scramble super yum yum Thank you ! Staff were super nice !
Delicious and you always forget it's all vegan from a carnivore
Fantastic food. Excellent service. Had a reservation and there was no wait. Parking no problem. Shared 3 appetizers and each had own entree. Cauliflower appetizer was amazing. Nachos delicious. Vegan Pizza was incredible. Would definitely recommend Cafe Gratitude to others!
Delicious food, great service!! This restaurant is a neighborhood gem!!
We love Cafe Gratitude!! The food is delicious and we would be here every week if we lived closer. It was pretty crowded on a Saturday lunch, so glad we had a reservation. It was very loud but still nice for a birthday lunch. Again, cannot beat their tasty food!
Our server was excellent, friendly and patient since we were chatting and took us a bit to order. The only reason I give a very good on service is the hostess. It was cold out and even though she explained they had heaters we preferred to sit inside. She either did not seem happy we didn’t want to sit outside or was having a bad day. When she showed us to the table and gave us the menus I thanked her and got no reply.
The food as always was delicious. It was my sister-in-law’s first time and she was very happy with her Indian Curry Bowl. I had the I got the Indonesian Grain Bowl which was very good.
Chai was excellent!
We were a party of six for breakfast. They were out of many items, to the point where the available choices were really few. The waiter was not curteous nor apologetic for the menu shortcomings. He was rude and had a pretty arrogant attitude, as if he was doing us a favor. The food was OK but the experience poor at any price. For their price, not worth it. We will not be returning.
