Always a good place and the menu has evolved with some great new additions. Wild Boar Green Chili was fantastic. No surprise that the prices are high, but they are everywhere these days. The mudslide is still the best item on the menu!

The staff was very rude. At first they sat us at a table so close to the hostess desk she couldn’t even walk pass and was about 4 feet from the door so a big family kept hitting us in the head with their coats. We finally convinced them to move us. Took 20 mins to take our order. They forgot to bring some of our food. Never tried to correct it. Every dish other than the chicken wings were inedible and we sent back but they didn’t take any of it off the check. My pasta was so chewy and had zero taste even after using 1/4 of the salt bottle. Daughters kid pasta was under cooked and crunchy. Wife’s soup came cold and salad barely had any dressing. Order their “famous” tots but all that came was plane tater tots and catchup. Ended up leaving and grabbing McDonalds on way home. Restaurant should have refunded the entire meal but no one could care less there about customers. Whoever wrote reviews that this is a good place needs a head examination.

Bully Ranch is good casual dining in Vail. Staff & ambience were lovely. Only criticism, Caesar salad was 2-3 full romaine lettuce heads, ends included, uncut. Dressing drizzled on top, with a Parmesan toast on side… so make your own Caesar salad basically for Vail prices. Presentation is not everything… really. It’s a Caesar salad, please just make the Caesar salad and then serve it. Otherwise nice casual dinner place.

Our table was over by the pizza oven so it was extremely hot . We asked if we could switch our table and they had nothing else available. The server put in the wrong appetizer , we corrected her however she never took it off of our bill. The drinks that we ordered sat on the counter for 10 mintutes before she brought them to our table . Also, the ice crean sundaes sat on the counter for a very long time and we had to ask another server to bring them to us. Service was horrible.

Service was very slow. Thank goodness we didn’t order appetizers or we’d still be there. I ordered the truffle Mac and cheese - it was cheesy - it was very oily - tasteless. My dinner companion ordered a burger that he said was just “ok.” The table next to us gave up and declined their entree because it took so long (they ordered appetizers). The restaurant wasn’t that crowded. It was $$$$ for sub par food and service

The food was amazingly good. We tried the oxtail and carro soup which was simply delicious with a rich herbaceous base. We also tried the truffle tots which were super crispy and probably the best tater tot ever! Also had the burger, bolognese and chicken wings. All were fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal there and regret some of the higher priced restaurants we tried during our stay.

We love the Bully Ranch. The food is great, the prices are reasonable for Vail and the service is friendly and fast. We ate their twice during our vacation. They also have a good kids menu. The Bully Ranch has a wonderful western ambiance with antiques on the wall. We are planning another vacation Vail next year and we will definitely be back.

Great place. Loved the atmosphere and ambiance. The food was amazing. Brussels sprouts as an appetizer, the men got trout and I got the salmon. Everything was outstanding. Highly recommend.
