   I went to Bulla as I’ve been a couple of times, but this last experience wasn’t too great. My boyfriend had never been so I wanted to take him somewhere different. He ordered a burger that was supposed to have caramelized onions, but has pickled onions on it. He also requested regular French fries and got cut up potatoes. We ordered calamari and it tasted frozen/freezer burned. We requested a manager and told him about these issues. He did say they had hand cut fries and would accommodate to give these, but we felt like our server should’ve mentioned this as well as about the pickled onions on the burger. It showed nowhere on the menu there’d be pickled onions. I also asked about a previous item and was never advised until the manager came out. It was not a good experience for me or him. I was disappointed because I spoke highly of this place but I don’t think I’ll come back again. Pros: Bulla is in a nice serene area in winter park. Drinks are good. Our server was friendly but probably could be more knowledgeable. I only gave it a 3 star on some things because management was accommodating but I would’ve liked something off my bill or compensated by them any other way.

   This was our first time and most definitely not our last. We filled up on tapas and their cocktails are sooo good!! Service was great and the server’s recommendations were spot on!

   Very positive overall experience. Food was excellent, service was prompt and consistent. Octopus salad was spot on and paella, despite some less than fully cooked rice, was very decent by Orlando standards. Would definitely come back.

   This is my 4th time coming here, I love the service, food, drinks and happy hour menu along with the regular menu. That octopus meal, it’s amazing. Every time I have business meeting with client or personal dinner engagement Bulla Gastrobar is my go too. You know its bad when the waiter / waitress know you. But I like it, I’m becoming regular! Check it out if you hadn’t, you’ll love it!

   Average food quality. It seemed as if some of the small plates were premade and sitting in the kitchen a bit. The Tostaditos were extremely dry and nothing special. The bacon wrapped dates stuffed with chorizo were remarkable. Our server was delightful

   Great experience the food is delicious and the price is right, the bartender stepped up when servers were MIA, we truly appreciate te way he was able to cover the gap on the service. We will definitely come back soon

   Garrett was a good server, attentive and friendly! My friend and I both got their brunch special - I got the watermelon salad, the pork and poached egg and the flan. The salad and the pork were both overwhelmingly flavored with truffle, I like truffle but this was too much, especially back to back. The egg was also over cooked so it didn’t have a runny yolk, just was like a hard boiled yolk so my dish was lacking moisture a bit. The flan was incredible, would go back just for that really, but the rest was just ok for me this time.

    Food was extremely delicious except for the mussels which were pretty salty. Overall, we did not wait long for our drinks or food. Waitress was attentive and provided recommendations. The menu was very well explained and easy to read.

    My husband and I went to Bulla for an early dinner but I guess going on Mothers' Day was not the best day due to the noise level and crowd. However, having said that I must admit that the staff was AMAZING -- they were incredibly helpful, poised and did a great job taking care of us as well as the other diners all around us. The food was brought as ordered and with literally minimal if any delay at all. And the food was great as usual. We had a cocktail, piquillo peppers and patatas brava followed by grilled steak dinner for my spouse (he really enjoyed it) and I had chicken al chilindron. This was OK, not bad just OK but the sauce over the chicken was great.

    the only reason we rated 4 overall, is because a kitchen error caused the entree for 1 in our group to be delayed 20 min after other 3 were tabled. A manager offered to comp the entree portion, which we accepted. Service excellent, music a bit too loud overall, with food and drink quality excellent. We will return for brunch again.

    This was our return visit to Bulla after an unfortunate experience there with an untrained waiter. The service was greatly improved, the food delicious, and the ambiance enjoyable. We shared two different tapas dishes--the brisket and the smoked salmon--both were well presented and delicious. The blueberry and lemon gel pancakes, while a breakfast food, were a tasty dessert. Our waiter was attentive, but not overbearing. We will return.

    I brought my mother for a mothers day brunch. The food was good, unfortunately the service was not great. It took a while for a server to come and take our order, and the service continued to be slow and spotty from there on. We went with the 3 course meal special, which unfortunately each course they brought each of our food out 5-10 minutes apart (I would receive my meal and 10 minutes later my mother would receive hers). Our server was very sweet, but unfortunately I do not see myself going back to this restaurant as overall it was a great disappointment.

    We went there for Mother’s Day brunch since they have outdoor seating. The ambience was nice. We ordered alcoholic drinks to start. I got a jalapeño margarita which was fantastic and my wife got a mimosa. My drink came out within a few minutes but my wife’s drink came out 10 minutes later and after I asked the server about it. When they did bring it out, it was in a wine decanter carafe. The server had to go back and grab a glass to serve it in which they put it in a wine glass versus a champagne flute. Minor but I did not expect that from a higher caliber brunch spot. We both ordered steak and eggs and it took forever for the food to be prepared. The table next to us were seated after us and received their food quicker. Once the food was prepared, it was delivered to the wrong table and once the people at the table realized it was not their food, the server picked it up, brought it back into the restaurant and then brought it back out to our table. When I went it to tell them that I will not eat food placed at another table, the lady (assumed assistant manager due to business casual clothing) told me that she doubts that it happened and I told her that I watched it happen. She then talked to the manager which apologized for it and offered to make new plates. After all of the issues, I just wanted to leave. They comp our drinks but the service was atrocious. They should have one server take orders and deliver food. Instead, they have a “team” to serve tables which does not communicate and causes errors. The manager tried to make it right but after all the issues, we just went to Shake Shack across the street. We will not return after them ruining Mothers Day brunch for my wife’s first Mother’s Day.

    Food was good and there were plenty of choices. Service was very slow at times, and our server, as nice as she was, would disappear for 20 minutes at a time. Half of our party’s drinks came out within a few minutes and for the other half the drinks didn’t come out for over 15 minutes. They are likely understaffed. I would still return and give him another opportunity.

    server was very nice however she spoke too fast, we had to ask her to repeat herself and she kept referring to us AS GUYS .. We are older people and dont like to be referred as "guys"... management needs to find a solution regarding the greeting and communication issues. The above are constructive comments, we have been traveling and go to many restaurants and we were very surprised that "guys" was being used in such a nice place. May all do well going forward.

    Pre Birthday celebration! There were two of us. We had about 5 tapas and bottomless mimosas & sangria. Our server was Jason… so attentive and knew the menu, made some suggestions for us. The papas bravas we’re on point! The tuna tartare was incredibly delicious!! It was our first visit and it won’t be the last!

    We can not say enough great things about Bulla Gastrobar. As none locals “G Wagon” helped us out! He was so attentive to all our needs and concerns. He was so good he anticipated our next orders and requests! The manger was such a nice guy. You could tell how helpful and supportive he was of his guests, workers and the environment! The Brunch Menu was so delicious and the Sangrias were to die for! We will be coming back for more!

    I’m an usual at Bulla’s. This time was not the best experience though. Tortilla de Patatas was the worst ever tried at this place. I see that probably was only mine because my neighbors got one much better done. Also it was clear to me that chips at Huevos rotos were fried in an oil which was used for calamari before. The blue cheese sauce for solomillo was the worst ever but new recipe for churros has improved, avoiding cinnamon which is something that Mexicans used but not spaniards in churros

    I asked for clarification on the price of the brunch. The waiter did not understand the menu enough to give me the correct price. The bill was double what I expected. Food was good, but nothing came out at the same time so some of us had our food while the other people at our table had to wait as much as 20 more minutes for their food. Drinks weren’t filled consistently, either. Waiters didn’t clear tapas plates so the table was cluttered as well. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

    The server was not attentive in the least bit, not empathetic when called out, the wait time for one of the dishes was literally 30 minutes. When the food was brought out, the side dish was literally cold. When I asked for the bill, the server said the meal was comped and simply walked away. The comped meal is not what I wanted, it was for them to take responsibility and speak to me with respect about what happened.
