Waited at stand for a few minutes while two hosts asked us about our reservation and then thought we were with another family that just arrived. Ehh. Won’t be back. one and done.

We had a wonderful experience at the Las Vegas location a few months ago, but unfortunately this was not the same. As we arrived we were placed upstairs with a nice view, we waited about 15 minutes for out waitress to come take our drink order and when she finally came over we were ready to order food as well. After we ordered our waitress passed our table twice letting us know, "your food will be right out!", however on her third pass by she stopped and told us they were out of what we ordered. This was almost 20 minutes after we placed our order with her. At this point our toddler is getting pretty restless so we just order stuffed shells to get some food to our table and they weren't like we expected. Very disappointed in our experience at this location.

Food was alright. A bit more bland than I remember and the menu changes were not to the liking of a few in our party. I get that menus change but their family style macaroni and cheese was something we look forward to when we go. The chicken Marsala was gluten free in the past. When we found out it wasn’t GF, my wife was relegated to a salad. Atmosphere was not what we liked but that has more to do with the current pandemic. They did check for vaccine cards. Food was hot and service was good so it wasn’t all bad. Probably our last visit, we fully expect the prices for the family style dishes but without the fun atmosphere and menu options you would expect from these prices. It left me not wanting to return for our large special occasion dinners.

Service and food were fantastic. It's a very eclecticly decorated place which was fun. Highly recommend for a family or friends get together as all meals are family style (either 3 or 5 people), but leftovers are always welcome to bring home.

We had a reservation when we arrived they told us that the kitchen closed in 5min and that we could order something to take away that doesn't make sense, so they said we could order and they gave us our food 45min late while people were leaving the restaurant. The point is way they accepting reservations to cancel them.

While the food was good. The overall experience was lacking and not special for our out of town guests. My party had a reservation for 5:15 pm. When we arrived, we showed our vaccination cards and then were told to wait while our table was prepared. We waited for over 15 minutes and then were taken to a table that had not been prepared. The waitress came to take our order but we had not received menus yet. We ordered a salad which promptly came out from the kitchen, but the server did not bring plates or silverware. When the waitress came back to ask how everything was tasting, we commented that we did not have anything to eat with. In general, the server was not attentive to refilling drinks and bringing necessary items such as napkins and silverware. When we went to the women’s restroom at the end of the meal, we noticed that two of the three stalls were “out of order“.

Dining after Covid is hit or miss these days- especially in Seattle- however when a vagrant street resident enters a business then makes a scene in the lobby making demands, calling 911 on his cellphone making demands for services completely inappropriate in a private business it tends to make the ambiance a low rating. This went on for more than half an hour and he had a Hobo powerful smell. The manager had no idea what to do despite Washington’s idiotic laws regarding law enforcement- the manager should have escorted the man outside and out of the business. Didn’t even comp a drink or $12 garlic bread…

BLUF: This place has been commercialized. Go as an outing with friends, not as a date night. My first time going to this place. The server was amazing. The food was fast But…bland and expensive. The small portion is enough to feed four. The walls are plastered with pictures, Christmas lights and wall paper. I wouldn’t say not to go. Just know what you’re getting in for.

The service was fantastic but buca is really not the place for a date. The portions are designed for a group of at least 3. Pricing is ridiculously expensive for the type the type of food you receive. On a bright note the service was impeccable. Kudos to Breana.

Service was awful- waitstaff didn’t approach table for at least 15mins after we sat down. Masks worn inappropriately, food was incredibly slow (2 tables sat after us and were leaving by the time we actually got food) Food was super greasy. We won’t be back.

Wonderful server and a great atmosphere. Our food was amazing and the cocktails were as well. I would recommend the pizza and all of the other wonderful sides. We were very happy when they came out to sing Happy Birthday to our guest of honor!

Family style good for families and we always come here with 11 for holidays!! Open air dining on a nice day by Lake Union can”t be beat...😎
