BRIO Tuscan Grille - Miami - The Falls
Food was an edible first time my husband has to actually send back. The gluten-free pasta was over cooked so it was one big mush. Wrong sauce on it as well. Service was awful. It took forever to even get drinks. And now they do not serve cappuccinos they serve an espresso in a big cappuccino cup. It was undrinkable. The place was empty. So there is no reason for the poor service. We have decided never to go back in that used to be our favorite place because they could deal with my sons gluten allergy
There was a slight issue with adding a table to our party and there was a mixup in the order but everything was rectified.
Did not like the Shrimp Capri the pasta was not good the shrimp was cold and sauce was very watery.
It was a Father’s Day Brunch which lived up to our expectations!
Food and service excellent.
Server was polite...however we sat at end of meal for a while w/o him showing up to ask for drink refills. When we finally flagged him, he said "I saw you were talking"...good point...however, more of a reason to offer more drinks/dessert...which bill would have been higher. Regardless, we left a 20% tip. Food was delicious.
Great food good service
Bad smell, mediocre food, poor service. This restaurant is really going down. It is not worthy at all!
Grilled Salmon was overloaded with Balsamic reduction and the sweet potatoes were to hard. Others in our party did not have and concerns. Nice place to go to have conversation over dinner.
Service was good but waiter had too many tables to tend to and was rushing the order.
Mixed drinks (Sangria) were not very good. Food was very good but one of the orders (ravioli) was cold.
The food was good. The Salmon portion is small.
The service was fast and the waiter, Mark did a good job attending our table.
The food is not good and the service is horrible. We are not coming back for sure!
I was really enjoying the peacefulness and calm of the restaurant until the party of what looked like 20 arrived. Thank God by then we were very close to done and were able to escape the rest of the noise they would have produced. That many people should be in a room of their own, not out where others are trying to have a nice, quiet meal. They're aren't many close places to go to eat without TV's hanging all over the place anymore. That's one of the reasons I enjoyed Brio so much. Unless it's hanging somewhere & I didn't see it.
One of our friends just came out of knee surgery and needed an easy space to navigate with a walker.
This is why we chose BRIO. Usually we all go out to other family owned excellent restaurants in Pinecrest, and restaurants leagues above BRIO. However, the ease getting a table and navigating with a walker was much easier at BRIO, so we appreciated that.
Since the food really isn't very good at BRIO, I think it is very smart they had a 'cork-free' night. The wine our friends brought was super... so meeting with friends in a relaxed quiet patio setting with a carefully chosen wine for 'cork-free' night made for a memorable wine and meeting with old friends evening.
The indoors looked very dirty- so glad not to have eaten in there. The restaurant needs to take more care in their dishwashing efforts- our very nice waiter had to replace our wine glasses with cleaner ones and half of our silverware was dirty.
Since the prices are high for the quality, my husband I decided to order appetizers of food we wouldn't normally make at home or order elsewhere. We ordered the calamari, not good. It was greasy with the breading sliding off - at least it wasn't overcooked and rubbery. The sauces tasted mundane and like they were out of cheap bottle. The crab cake was large but very salty and expensive (one crab cake- $17).
So, I would recommend going to BRIO on 'free cork-night' bring a couple of great bottles of wine, and if you need a relaxing, quiet patio space, and are fresh on a walker and need a stress free place to navigate, then go to BRIO.
Our server was quite accommodating and friendly and timing of food and bill were fine.
Just the food... and cleanliness...
My dinner was excellent, our server was great. We will be back.
The food was excellent but the service was poor, I thought that because of Mother’s Day they were busy, but I mentioned my experience to a couple of friends and they said they have had similar experience at this location recently
Mother’s Day celebration.
Our servir was very nice and apologized for the food delay, blaming the kitchen. She told us that they were running behind schedule.
The restaurant was packed! The floor was soooo dirty! We could see dust and left overs everywhere! Absurd!!
Also, It was sooo noisy! Food was ok.
Unfortunately we won’t go back anytime soon. It was a disappointing experience.
DONT COME HERE ON MOTHERS DAY! It is by reservation only. Everything was great except for the HOUR LONG WAIT to eat slightly cold food. Good thing dessert was on them.
No on Mothers day. very disorganized we waited 75 to 90 min to get our food..it was horrible, food was not that good. Other parties got their food first than us and they came in after Us... we ask the Manager what CV was going On and they just took care of our bill...we made Reservations early because one of my children had to work later that day, he got to work late and it Really was a disaster of a Mother's day celebration. afterwards we ate , they took care of the bill , waiter was apologizing all the time ( we know wasn't his fault...he tried his best) we went to another place later ON i the evening..with NO Reservations and did workout better. Sorry for Brios at the falls...this didn't happened 2 years ago that we had a great experience there that's why we picked this place again this year.!!!.But Not anymore!!!
Went for Mother’s Day. The brunch menu was great. The service was great. Great experience.
Brio is a great place for any time of day. Delicious food and great staff.
Went for Mother’s Day Brunch and everything was perfect.
had a great mothers day lunch at Brios. Food was great. Service great. Portions are small and drinks are weak but enjoyable.
At lunch time, no espresso drinks available. An Italian restaurant!
Excellent food and service
I was completely offended by my experience. I’ve gone to BRIO before in my home city Fort Myers/ Naples and had a wonderful time it was so good from beginning to end but when I went back to visit my mom in Miami for her birthday I decided to take her here. HORRIBLE IDEA. Our waiter was inattentive, took us way to long to even get drinks. He served a table bread and drinks( that came well after us) before we even got water or the sangria. No one said happy birthday even tho it was on the reservation. Then when I asked if they had a birthday dress or sing he charged me for a 8 dollar cake. To say the least I was well underwhelmed with the interactions. I paid and tipped (not deserved) and spoke with the manager about how we felt. Not sure if it was racially driven or not but the manger basically did nothing to even try to make us feel better. She seemed like she had maybe gotten that complaint before. The chain is good but this location needs a little help.
Waiter didn’t bring ANY utensils, napkins or water.
Brought food out as soon as he brought salad out.
Very nice young man. Just needs training
Maybe because it was a holiday; but the service was definitely below average on Sunday. We didn't get menus or silverware when we were seated; it took over 15 minutes before the server even came to the table. They could not find a wine chiller to keep our wine cold; it took over 35 minutes for the food to arrive. The food was very good, but a couple of the dishes arrived cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen to be done over.
I probably would rethink going back to Brio on a holiday.
Went for Easter lunch. Everything was great! My biggest complaint was the ambience. I understand that it’s a beautiful Miami afternoon, but at the height of the day’s temperature, they NEED to close the doors and no longer have it open for indoor/outdoor eating. The temperature was warm inside the restaurant and the amount of flies and gnats was unbearable! The flies were all over the table on the bread and food. The food was great and so was the service, but it’s time to consider closing the doors!
Ambiance is always pleasant and food and drinks are wonderful. It is always a wonderful, place for a special day.
OK for local dining, The food is good the service is good,
The food was excellent as always but the prices have really gone up. The filet mignon that was in the twenties has gone up to $36 which is sort of expensive for this type of restaurant. Also the glasses of wine are really expensive for a similar type of restaurant. Otherwise the food was excellent.
the worst experience ever - horrible service and terrible tasting food. They were out of pretty much everything we asked for: wine, pasta, and salad dishes. The worst really!
I had chicken medeira and the chicken was tough and awful.
The waiter was lost in space, we had to ask him for bread, than water refills,He messed
up the wine and vodka order. How could you mess that up?
We had to ask a hostess to get our waiter to give us the check after waiting 22 minutes for it.
Not a happy camper at BRIO.
Lovely to sit outside and relax! Very reasonable and one of the view restaurants around that one can sit outside!!!
We had a large party celebrating my mother’s birthday. The restaurant was so terrific with arrangements. And our server Mark was incredible! The food was delicious and fast. Many thanks!!!
Terrible service, food overcooked, had to get my own water from the bar, and food was cold. Will not be coming back! Very disappointing considering it’s very close to our house and we have had good experiences here before.
I order the Lamb Chops for the first time and they were superb, highly recommended.
