This was a birthday dinner. Card was on table which was nice but server made no mention it. We were rushed the entire service. If you close at 9pm, don’t take an 8:30 reservation. Very poor experience

My husband and I have never dined here before and had never had it recommended but we booked it on our own well in advance for our 44th wedding anniversary and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The portions were not overwhelming which I appreciate -I prefer quality over quantity and the bouillabaisse was excellent as was the shellfish appetizer prior to that. The only disappointment was having to wait nearly half an hour to be seated for our anniversary reservation which we were well on time for. I had hoped for a little less noisy table which I had requested but our table was tiny but sufficient. Staff was very good. We will be back!

Good meal with great service! Get the tasty lobster bisque it won’t disappoint you. The escargot was tasty. The hamburger was excellent along with the Bordeaux wine.

Great restaurant. Looks just like a bistro in France. This was our first time there and will definitely go back. The scallops and the duck were amazing. Des gargo were good but I have had better but definitely have had worse. Wait staff is great and price is very reasonable

The restaurant is beautiful. We had a table by the window. Our server was new so maybe a few things could have been improved. I found out at the end of the meal that the lobster bisque was bowl with lobster chunks that they poured a pitcher of the bisque over top. Great presentation. I wish our server had mentioned that. The food was good but I was hoping for a little more “French” the wine list was also good. I would return.

Overall, we had a very nice Sunday dinner. Our waitress, new to the area and living in Summerville, was wonderful! We were thrilled when the chef agreed to our request to have the seared fois gras option for the burger as an appetizer!! We very much hope that becomes an addition to the appetizer offerings—utterly fantastic! The escargot were phenomenal as well. Our rating derives from our main courses. My trout almondine were in an utterly tasteless sauce—equivalent to a warm white sauce with no seasoning whatsoever. The special—18oz ribeye was ordered medium rare and arrived well done. Unfortunately, by the time we were asked how things were the second time (the first time was just as our plates were put in front of us) we didn’t care for replacements or to order new items. The manager kindly removed the ribeye from our bill, but I highly doubt I will order it again!

The food was excellent. Our waitress, Stevie, was very pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed the atmosphere. It was a bit dark but for younger eyes. I'm sure it was fine. Large selection of drinks. We easily found parking on the street, close by. Prices were more than reasonable for the excellence of the food.

Had been there previously and the service and food were excellent. This time the shrimp cocktail was soggy and seemed it could have been frozen. Not deveined. Sauce was good though. The Cassoulet portion was not in casserole and was smaller in portion than expected. Not sure I’d go back except for a drink at the bar

What a lovely spot for dining any time, but especially the brunch on Sunday. Great choices, great service and atmosphere, and Tanya, the general manager, is on top of everything, helping serve and assuring that all goes smoothly with your experience. We are thrilled that Saturday is also offering brunch...another reason to visit Brasserie la Banque!!!

Literally hands down best experience we’ve ever had at a restaurant ever. All of the food and drinks were unreal good and the service was beyond what you would ever expect at a restaurant. Our server Riley was so sweet and made our night, every person there was smiling and helpful, and the host Aaron who checked us in was also awesome and helpful. We went for my birthday and I would come back again and again, will 10000% be back the next time I’m in Charleston and will tell everyone I know to come here! 10/10 experience.

Overall food was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their selection. Half off wine/champagne bottles dur8ng brunch was a plus. Service was a bit slow, as they forgot to put in our drink order initially so we were put behind about 30 minutes, but it was an honest mistake. Will be back!

We dined at the chef's counter. It was our 3rd time to dine at the counter. The chef is awesome. It is a joy to watch him do his craft. He provided consistently delicious meals! Last night we had the Mussels & Frites, Pan Seared Scallops and Roasted Heirloom Carrots. The chef presented these with great taste!
