It all starts with the first person/interaction-- the hostess. Vicky was excellent --charming and accommodating. Then, Waitress Emily the same! Everything fabulous

A fun place with a menu that's interesting and different from the usual fare. The noise level was excessive however, and the spice level in the shrimp etoufee also very high, so that's why the rating stayed at 4. I would try it again!

Great food, great service. Twice now our reservations on Open Table meant nothing. It only gets you the next available table. Requests and special occasions are ignored. Twice now requested patio table and noted it was for birthdays. Hosts dont look at your reservation until you get there so don't plan on any preparation by the staff. I was told requests are not guaranteed but they made zero effort. Also they won't seat you until the entire party is there. I suggest ignore Open Table, get there early and tell them the entire party is there.

We, however, are very disappointed to hear that members of our team are failing to utilize tools available to us on OpenTable. We may not always be able to provide guests with their requested seating preferences, but we can certainly show our best hospitality for special occasions. Great restaurant and food. Service was good too. Just make sure you make reservations because they get very busy, which isn’t a bad thing. Definitely will come back.

The risotto was dry, steak needed seasoning. The ribs were good, the ravioli needed a sauce, étouffée was delicious. The corn chowder was delicious.

As usual, this place tops all places in Brighton, MI to eat. Never have I or anyone we ate there with had a bad meal or experience. This time I ordered the filet, which was awesome. Perfectly cooked and presented as you would expect in a nice restaurant such as this. Way better than the new place that opened up down the road from them: The Reserve - terrible steak and way over priced. My wife had their buttermilk chicken and that is one of the best dishes they serve. Definitely get the Chocolate Decadence for dessert but order it with a scoop of ice cream. What else can I say, it was perfect. The service is also the best in town. Timing on drinks, apps, and ordering was perfect. Plus they follow up without being to much in our faces lol. I also can't believe how fast and efficient the bus service is. When you are done, their staff seems to appear out of nowhere to take your dirty dishes away. Just amazing place to enjoy a great time. And you won't go broke here at all. They could easily add a few more dollars to the cost for the quality you get, I am glad they don't. Unlike down the road at the new place... lol.

THE AMBIANCE , SERVICE, FOOD AND MENU WERE EXCELLENT. THE BIG DETRACTION WAS THE MUSIC LEVEL, BOTH ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE RESTAURANT ON THE STREET AND INSIDE, WE WERE SCREAMING AT EACH OTHER. WE MENTIONED IT TO THE SERVER WHO SAID IT IS ALWAYS THIS LOUD. WOULD NOT GO BACK FOR THAT REASON. TOO BAD AS IT IS A GOOD PLACE.

What can I say? You seem to have a full house. It tells me you are probably doing something right. We each have our favorite dishes that we can’t seem to stray from. The service is always attentive and not hovering.

Food is always good. Returning customer but the lack of space is a reoccurring issue. A booth seat barely accommodates 2 people per side. We were squished and it makes for a very uncomfortable experience.

Server was great! Very friendly and very efficient! Food was great! Have eaten here several times. Only negative is that it is very loud inside. Not due to music or tvs but just all the people. Wonder if something could be placed on the ceiling to help absorb some of the noise?

LOVE BOURBONS! Unfortunately this Sunday it was SO loud we could not talk to each other at our small table for 2 in the front porch. I wonder if something can be done to absorb sound in this building at times. Otherwise another great meal.
