All servers worked together to ensure each meal arrived hot . We had halibut, pork chop, and lamb. Each entry was beautifully plated and delicious. The two desserts ordered were a mint chocolate bonbon and a chocolate cake. Each was so good and again so pretty. A lovely dinner

If you want to have an amazing delicious first class dinner The Boulevard is the place to go. The lamb was prepared perfectly. the wine selection superior and the desert was a chocolate lovers dream.

Everyone in my party of 4 enjoyed their meals. The appetizers were creatively prepared and very tasty. The lamb was excellent as well as the steak. Someone had the pork dish and that was surprisingly flavorful. All around great experience. The desserts were spectacular.
Definitely recommend and we will be going back.

Boulevard is always a special spot, but less so this time than before. The waitress was on the pushy side, and though the restaurant was surprisingly empty on a Friday lunch hour, was nowhere to be found when we wanted refreshers on wine or the dessert menu. Hope it’s not a sign that it’s headed downhill...

My wife and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary there. When we got to our table that was a nice little card wishing us an enjoyable evening from the Boulevard staff. Very thoughtful

The wine list and ambience were great. Starters (in increasing order of preference) were: the ahi, soft shell crab & scallops. All were very good: the scallops were excellent. The buffalo milk cheese paired beautifully with the chosen Cabernet blend red but was let down by a failure to compose it w/coconut & cherry jams and some particularly disappointing crackers.

Service was excellent.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary at Boulevard on a Saturday night. Service was excellent and hostess gave us a greeting card to note the occasion. Did not get the window seat we asked for and were seated on a main "runway" of the restaurant. No complimentary dessert but the main courses were excellent (pork chop and halibut). Save your appetite for dessert!

Live in Seattle. But...every time I come to SF I have an incredible dining experience at the Boulevard.
Excellent service and top quality food and beverages.
Desserts are marginal.

We were celebrating our 30 wedding anniversary. Our evening started at the bar with a very friendly bartender with no rush to seat us for our reservation. Once we were seated our waiter; Brett made us feel like we were on a time limit for our dining experience. His interaction with us was very transactional without “personality” nor any interest to Realy engage with us. Hector who served the water and bread was outstanding and gave us updates on the GSW NBA game. He went out of his way to keep our water glasses fill with genuine conversation. We ordered the salmon and steak. Excellent preparation and taste. Also ordered the shrimp starter that was exceptional in taste. The dessert meringue with custard was unimpressive and it was clear from the waiter that it was time to give up our table. The food was excellent but the service was ok with exception of Hector and the ladies at the front desk. The service made the experience not so memorable. We love dining at Boulevard and often bring out of town guests. We will come back again hoping that service is better and not with the feeling of being rushed.

My favorite in SF for a nice dinner with friends, birthdays, employee staff Christmas dinners, any get together or should i say any excuse to go! We were seated even though one in our party was late. (although we ordered the first course while waiting) I had the pork for the first time, usually get the seafood, but at the recommendation of our server, i thought i should try it. it was tender, deliciously flavored and more than i could eat. I always save room for dessert.... took a lyft to the theatre half hour before the show started and made it in plenty of time....

It was terrible service from the waitress Sara. I was there with 2 co-workers for lunch and the menu was not appetizing, but the appetizers sounded good. We all ordered appetizers which cost $20 each. Sara looked me in the face and said is that all you are going to order? No second course, nothing else? I repeated myself 3 times that we were just having appetizers and she stormed off. The busser slammed down the bread. After they brought the appetizers, the busser and Sara kept trying to take the food as we were eating and kept trying to ask us if we wanted to order more. The table in front of us only ordered a salad and a burger $16 and they were not hassled like we were. My friend tried to grab a piece of bread as the busser was trying to take it away and he slammed the butter back down on the counter. We were all appalled and horrified by their behavior. We like to lunch once a month and no other restaurant in the area was rude and unkind to us. It was extremely humiliating. We tried to leave from the side door after paying and the busser was like can't you read? It was the worst lunch I've ever had. The food was so-so. It was not comparable to the fresh quality fish at Ozumo or the seafood at Yank Sing. You have to be a drinker to enjoy the food so it kills your taste buds. I really don't understand the hype, the food is overrated and the service may be good if you are male over 40.

I had the pulled pork sandwich and was relieved at first that the ciabatta bread was soft. Unfortunately, the bottom was so thin that is was completely soggy when I got it. This was not helped by the kitchen being fancy and cutting the sandwich the long way on the roll. This resulted in soggy bread flapping in the air and dropping the contents of the sandwich. I would like to come sometime and try a much different menu choice.

This place was perfect. We had a reservation for 9:15 but they worked us in earlier. They put us at a sweetheart table for our honeymoon. The cocktails were amazing, we also shared the softshell crab which was out of this world. She had the filet with brocolli rabe and potatoes. I had the lamb t bone with mashed potatoes and greens. Both dishes were perfect and the cuisine was truely inspired. We split a dessert that had various chocolate things that was the perfect end to a perfect meal. The service was excellent, our waters were always full and the waiters suggestions were spot on. Great dining experience for our last night of our honeymoon.

Boulevard is one of our favorite restaurants! The restaurant is beautiful, the staff is so friendly & the food is divine. We were there to celebrate a birthday & they made it very special, with a handwritten card & a chocolate greeting with the dessert. Wonderful!

Another delightful experience at Boulevard. This lovely evening was a ladies night with my 6 & 8 year old daughters. The server was gracious to inform me upon seating us that there was also an off menu item for kiddos of plain pasta with options of butter and/or Parmesan cheese (which my 6 year old happily took them up on😉). Everything from the appetizers to the entree’s (highly recommend the filet) to the magnificent desserts where an absolute hit. Highly recommend Boulevard for a great evening out.

The food is very tasty and full of flavor. The ambience is great.

Boulevard feels like a restaurant I would use for a business meeting or for a date, it is great. Do not recommend for kids.

The meal was one of the highlights of my trip to San Francisco. Great staff, great food and a stunning wine list. I was eating alone but was very well looked after by Desireé and Erick. A number of guests at other tables also stuck up conversations which was lovely also.

It was an exceptionally delicious experience! The food presentation was awesome we were in awe and admired it for a longer time before taking a first bite. The symphony of every bite and morsel was just unbelievably delicious. Our hostess was gracious, however, the guy taking the silverware away was swift and seemed impatient with our visit, we felt we were being rushed. Overall, we will come back again and again.

Great place for a special occasion! Birthdays, anniversaries, retirements,... The service is nonpareil. The appetizers, entrees, desserts and wines are sublime.

I have been wanting to dine here for years. The experience was just perfect. The cocktails were divine and the food was delicious. Stepping into Boulevard is like going back in time to and earlier version of San Francisco when it had more art...and heart. So glad it is preserved in establishments like this.

Let me start by saying don’t waste your time or money at this highly overrated restaurant and instead go to Gary Danko’s. We had been to Gary Danko’s the night before Boulevard and we wished we had gone back to Gary Danko’s instead. Boulevard reminded me of a place where people go for a drink after work that has very poor service...and to this I am referring to Leslie the very loud head maitre d whose cackling laugh could be heard throughout the restaurant...and mediocre food. We arrived 5 minutes early and were asked to wait in the bar area and Leslie would come and get us. We sat at a small table and finally someone appeared to ask us what cocktail we would like. Meanwhile, people started arriving and being seated. We advised the server in the bar area that we were going to be seated and to please bring our cocktails to our table. Leslie had us shown to a table that my husband had noticed was rejected by guests just moments before. The head maitre d was talking and cackling all night to two other women at the entry podium who I think were going through training...I am not quite sure. My husband loved the quail appetizer. My risotto was average. The king salmon entree was flavorless as was my filet mignon. No desserts or after dinner drinks...because I was tired of the loud voice and could not wait to leave.
