Absolutely flawless spinach and bacon roasted oysters!
The semi-private area for a group of 8 people was perfect. The seat arrangement allowed everyone to equally participate in the discussions. The food and service was superb.
We showed up an hour and a half before our reservation and sat in the bar for happy hour. The service was good and the drinks were great tasting and a great value! Dinner was great and our server was fabulous!
Delicious food and our out of town guest loved the experience!
Wait staff is excellent. Four of us had lunch there on Tuesday. Gumbo was tasty and spiced just right. Easy to have a conversation without yelling. A fine place.
I thought that the quality had slipped just a smidge since last time I was there. Bread was now a charge, and I thought that the topping on the scallops was unecessarily bitter. They didn't have the Draper Farms chicken which is so delicious. So . . . maybe just a bit of a dip. Still some of the best seafood in town. And, as an attorney, I love the cocktail menu names! So creative!
Made reservations at 8:30 pm. Got there around 8:25 pm. Restaurant was pretty empty which my girlfriend and I expected for a Sunday Night. However it took the host almost 10 mins to greet us. The host stand was empty and I asked the bar and oyster chef multiple times to see if we could get seated. Overall the experience was tarnish from there and we ended up leaving because everything was taking to long.
We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday. The four of us started off with some creative cocktails and crab tater tots which were to die for! All of us ordered seafood and they were excellent. The service was perfect and we had a really great time.
Not as good as the reviews more like bar food , was not totally bad just not what the reviews led me to believe . Service was ok. I expected cleaner, more refined and a better seafood menu.
Our server was amazing. He made excellent food recommendations, was very attentive and timely. My only one , small criticism is the salmon tasted slightly fishy. Overall an excellent experience and we will return!
We where there for lunch and it was delicious. The potato crusted fish and chips were out of this world. So was the Oyster Casbarian.
Fresh delicious Seafood done to perfection
Very good and fresh seafood. Great location for locals and tourists.
overpriced entrees. Fish with bones in it. Decent, but not exceptional service. Long waits for everything. I expected more considering the price. Willing to pay for excellence, but this wasn't it.
As usual the food and service were top notch. I took 2 people new to W and C and they loved it as well.
Scallops and oysters were amazing! Toffee Bread pudding wow!
Super grand meal. Portions could be larger, but everything else top notch. One of my go to’s
We had an excellent brunch. Fabulous omelet. Crab cakes to share. The French toast stuffed was Blueberries was over the top delicious. Not a single crumb was left on the plate.
Our server was fantastic and the food was better than the ratings we saw!
One of the most I have paid for salmon...$48. It was great but over priced for the portion
Service was poor--main course delivered before appetizer finished. 20% tip is outrageous, for the service received. Won't be going back.
On a Sunday evening at the early hour of 6:45, I was surprised that a highly rated seafood restaurant would be out of lobster except for one. I ordered the lobster for my guest, and had the cod for myself. The cod was nothing special. When it was time to order coffee, the server said they may be out of cream/milk. Thankfully, that was at least not the case. The whole experience was an embarrassment as I had hoped for a wonderful Seattle seafood experience for my guest.
We had visited once before with friends while staying downtown and accidently booked ourselves not remembering till we walked over there. Very pleased we went inside for a couple drinks, oysters and appetizers. Was very pleased with all the food, especially the potato skins on the Happy Hour menu! Excellent all the way around!
Wonderful food, will not disappoint!
I went to to Blueacre for San Valentines.
Overall the experience was ok. The service was kind of slow, not bad but nothing special either.
We ordered an appetizer (crab cake), 2 main entrees (2lb lobster and the katsu Black code and 2 desserts. The entrees and desserts were good, the appetizer was not great.
I would not go back to this restaurant given that the overall experience was just ok. But it’s not a bad place.
This is our second time at Blueacre. It's a very attractive restaurant and the food is excellent. Tonight we had the amazing black cod (which is not cod at all) and the sea scallops. The scallops were perfectly seared. Ask for the sauce on the side...it's delicious, but covers the milder taste of the scallops. (Have it with the potatoes.) The collard greens were the best I've ever had... and I'm from the south. The Sidecar, Prosecco, and even the decaf coffee were all great. And don't miss the bourbon chantilly, cacao nib caramel chocolate pecan pie! Best of all was Tia, who served our dinner, but who was also so friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. She really helped make our entire dinner very relaxing and enjoyable. We will definitely go back again when we're in Seattle.
BlueAcre accommodated our large group with no problem.. Accommodated a friend what significant allergy issues. Great service and the food was really good. Will be back.
I may have gotten food poisining there
Food was only mediocre. Asked for size of various oysters (whether small or large). Waiter actually didn't know-- what he said were large oysters turned out to be smaller oysters, and vice-versa. When I asked for my oysters to be changed, he mumbled something about having to throw them away, so I just took them-- bummer. My Cioppino had a really hot pepper in it-- burned my mouth.
The food is interesting and high quality. Service is excellent.
Great place for a good business lunch. Mahi mahi was delicious, apple tart perhaps best I’ve ever had and the service was great. 5 star
Worst meal I’ve had in a long long time. The food was disgusting. They brought my entree before I’d even half finished with my appetizer. An embarrassment to have taken my client there for an important dinner meeting.
Excellent fresh oysters. Teresa salad easily enough for two people and tasted great. Fish and chips were awesome and portion was large. Shrimp scampi was good, Huge shrimp and portion very generous.
Ordered a $55 Pacific coast line caught salmon. Whatever you do, please don't overcook it. Waiter got it. Sure enough, it was overcooked. Might has well go to Red Lobster. Very dissapointed.
Had to wait 20 minutes for reserved table.
Request Justice as your waiter. Lots of fun and excellent service!
Creative menu that is delicious. Good value for lunch
Delightful flavors and presentation, just very pricey vs alternatives in Seattle for equivalent oysters also, do NOT order the chowder! Bland, too much potato vs clam as well
If you are a seafood lover and are visiting Seattle, this is a real gem. Some of the freshest fish I have ever had. Great wait staff. Ask for Dav. Bruce Sturgeon is the GM and runs a fantastic ship. On a recent visit was going to order the mahi mahi which I had before but Dav suggested the sushi grade Ahi Tuna. Huge portion with real wasabi and not the pasty green stuff. My wife had a japanese presentation of black cod which was to die for. Great NW wine list and a surprising number of reds for a seafood venue. The razor clam app needs more clams and less potato. Next time I will take the Gumbo reccomendation. Had the Madwell salad to start and it was one of the best greek style salads. The chocolate pecan pie is to die for and one is enough to share.
As always, excellent! My “go-to” every first night in Seattle
We had a lovely birthday brunch with out of town family. As always The food was wonderful, fresh, beautifully prepared and the services was efficient and friendly. We love all of the Davis team restaurants. Always consistently wonderful.
