   Owner- LEO was friendly and connecting I really appreciated him taking the time to do so. The restaurant is beautiful warm and has friendly staff with great customer service. BAR TENDER- Veronica went above and beyond to be accommodating. I make decisions all day and was being indecisive about what I wanted to eat. I asked Veronica for some recommendations for appetizers and entrees and she did not hesitate to do so. The food was delicious and so was the level of customer service. This was my first visit and would recommend it and will be returning myself.

   Food and value was exceptional! However, service was slow and table stayed very dirty and drinks stayed empty during the entire experience.

   The food was great and the booth was a nice size for a big person but the only think i didnt like was the drinks they were weak from a scale of 1 to 10 i will give it a 7 due to the drinks

   Bad Service. Soon had to leave waited two hours for the food to come and when we left we were very disappointed. I came there to have fun with my babe and the restaurant ruined the experience! Please improve...

   This restaurant just reopened in the last month. It has great potential but recommend waiting a few more months until they get better organized. Arrived at 5:30pm., restaurant maybe 20% of capacity. Even so, service was slow. Food was good but not outstanding. Sushi rolls were small.

    Everything was great. Went during the week and caught the last 1 1/2 hour of happy hour. The food and service was great. Not too busy, comfortable and a variety of choices on the menu. I'd recommend.

    Just came in with my Wife after discovering the place on Open Table. The food was excellent, our waitress was excellent, the drinks were delicious our only issue was we were hungry and everything seemed to come out slow. I guess that's because everything was made to order which I appreciate.

    Awesome neighborhood restaurant. I requested a particular type of martini. Even though it wasn't on the menu, the bartender figured out how to make it. The service is courteous and prompt. The sushi is fantastic. It's a great gathering place when they have live music. Feels like you're at a fine restaurant in the city.

    I haven't seen creative food like this is a while. The service was exponential. The while atmosphere was very classy. Definitely a returning customer. I will recommend this place to all my friends.

    Great neighborhood gem! Not sure why they have "bar & grill" in their name since it really doesn't describe this place at all. However if you want great Asian fusion cuisine and sushi, Blue Sunday will not disappoint. We have dined there several times. On every occasion except for one, the service was great. It seemed like they were training waiters on the one occasion when the service was slow and inconsistent, but it's a new restaurant so I won't hold that against them. I've had several different appetizers including the rock shrimp, calamari & tempura - all very tasty. Main entrees are great too and the chef's presentation is as elaborate as much more expensive restaurants - enticing from the moment you view your plate and the taste matches the presentation. For great food at reasonable prices, I definitely recommend Blue Sunday!

    We have been to Blue Sunday before, but sadly, this visit was not nearly as pleasant. Our server was new and unfortunately, rather overwhelmed by her workload. She did not get two of our party's orders correct, which resulted in half the party having to eat before the other two were even served. The manager apologized, but there were no deductions taken from our check. It is a lively restaurant and rather noisy. The food is very good... but we didn't like having our dinners served in two "shifts." Hoping we can try again another time...and get better results.

    I was looking forward to going to Blue Sunday since they reopened and was glad to hear they were going to reopen after what they experienced, which I was really sad to hear. While the food was VERY good, there were a few shortcomings, which I'm sure will get better over time. First, there were 3 of us, we ordered hot appetizers and we all noticed when they came that they were not really hot, they were room temperature - and they didn't come out together. Then, once we received our entrees - again, they didn't come out together - I actually received mine about 10 minutes before the rest of the table, so we had to wait so we could all eat together. We would have appreciated it if everything would have come together. We also witnessed a number of servers walking around with food and not knowing which table to take it to, one being one of our appetizers - and we had to flag him down for it. Lastly, I understand the concept of what they're trying to do and its a good concept but the band REALLY needs to be situated in another location. The band was right at our table so none of us at the table could talk to one another - and the room was not that large. By the time the band started playing we were eating our entrees so didn't ask for another table -- which we should have in the beginning. That part of it was the worst for me. All in all, I will visit again at some point because the food was EXCELLENT, however, I won't rush back for a while.

    What an unexpected neighborhood treat! My family had heard Blue Sunday had reopened so my family went there to support them. They have a very extensive Asian fusion menu with lots of sushi options and entrées. I had the lemongrass chicken entree - very tasty and had enough left for lunch the next day. For dessert, I tried their lemon mist cake - very pretty presentation and tasted well too! Don't overlook this neighborhood gem!

    The restaurant had a band playing. Too loud for a dinner atmosphere I was unable to have a conversation with my friend. The food was bland, it tasted like a TV dinner that was warmed up. It took nearly 45 minutes for my food to come out the kitchen.

    Sushi was pretty good. Salad was okay, it used iceberg lettuce. Dessert (ice cream) took 30 minutes from order to showing up. Food presentation is good. Server was slow and inefficient. Food options are okay with some unique rolls.

    Excellent food -- especially well-crafted and presented sushi. The only problem: service. Difficult to find our server (who seemed woefully overworked with having to deal with managing the kitchen as well as serving) sometimes, and had a delay in one of our party's entree because it had been "lost." Still, the food was really wonderful, and the ambience is impressive. Hard to believe that it had been an OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE in one of its former reincarnations! Interesting lighting and decor. I know we'll go back -- the service will figure itself out. After all -- this was only its second week of being open!
