We go for the excellent jazz performances. Andy Milne & Unison were outstanding. Rare for a jazz club, the food is delicious! Wonderful combinations of flavors. We had two different fish dishes, both delightful, though the miso sauce for the barramundi was a tad salty. When we go to eat and listen to music at the Blue Llama we know we are in for a special treat,

OMG!!!! My fiancé and I absolutely enjoyed ourselves…..from the music, to the food, to the staff—-EVERYTHING was outstanding!! It was my fiancé’s birthday and they really took great care of him making sure we enjoyed every moment. This was definitely an awesome and amazing experience!! We will definitely be back!

Great place! We went on a Thursday to hear live music. Got charcuterie appetizer with roasted and frozen grapes, local honey, and 2 artisanal cheeses! Amazing! Then had the Red Beans and Rice dinner and a chocolate tower for dessert! All incredible and the music was so so fun!

Only rated as a 4 as menu was very limited and seemed pretty expensive especially after counting the cover charge required as well when making the reservation. Service was awesome as was quality of food

We had the pleasure of being treated to one of the most entertaining evenings we've had in a long time. Tonight epitomized "Grown and Sexy" with a 7 course Chef's Tasting Dinner, and wonderful ambiance, accompanied by an incredible jazz performance from the Diego Rivera Quartet! If you've never been to Blue LLama Jazz Club and are a true fan of great food/music and service, trust me it's definitely worth the trip!!!

The food kept coming out. So many dishes to try and it was all perfectly cooked and crafted. The jazz is very approachable, not pretentious or too complicated, very enjoyable. We will be back!

We went to see a friend of mine and his jazz quintet!! The Andy Adamson Quintet. Going into the Blue Llama was really interesting. The bar is up front and we were escorted to our high top at the back of the venue in clear view of the awesome jazz stage. The lighting inside was spectacular and the acoustics were superb. Lots of great seating for the jazz and also at the spacious bar. This place is an absolute “hidden gem” in Ann Arbor. I love jazz clubs and it just reminded me of a RC cruise I just got off last month. REALLY worth going to. The menu has some different choices and my significant other has a gluten allergy that the waitress, Maria, really went all out to please us. SHE was fantastic!!!! Overall I would give it 10 stars!!! Will definitely go back!!! Highly recommend it.

I absolutely love this club,I understand they’re menu is more upscale,however I think adding more basic options like a sandwich of some kind,I know it’s not a BURGER JOINT,but the addition of some finger food I think more would dine there, I know a few who love the place as I do, but they plan on eating before or after going.. I still love it and will continue to support ❤️❤️

Blue LLama's latest menu with cream of potato-leek soup, the chicken and more is marvelous! The garnishes add very tasty touches and surprises. The servers are prompt, polite and very informed. It is a delight to listen to real jazz and eat delicious creative food. A perfect pair.

Blue Llama's staff have been outstanding both times my partner and I have visited. They are responsive, kind, and very knowledgeable about the music and the food at the restaurant. While portion sizes are rather small, the quality of the food is amazing and the cocktails are excellent. It is a perfect place for a fancy date night or a splurge on great drinks and dessert while you listen to jazz. We love this place and look forward to our next higher-cost date night.
