    Worst experience in Denver. After waiting 15 minutes after being seated, the manager came and introduced himself, apologised for the wait and took our drinks orders. This was appreciated. The drinks arrived shortly after and the Sangria was good. The starters, pretty tasty and generously portioned although my husbands was cold, we stayed quiet as we actually weren’t sure if it was meant to be served this way (pork steet tacos). The burritos arrived and mine was cold. Concerned for the rice being a high risk food item, I requested this to be sent back for reheating. The waiter apologised but walked away and continued to clear an empty, clean a dirty table. I’m not quite sure why an empty table was prioritised over a customer? (There were plenty of clean tables available at this time if people needed to be seated) he then proceeded to take away my dish a good 5 minutes after I’d initially asked him, meaning my husband was half way through his meal. The dish returned from the kitchen looking different from the first time… the burrito was now smothered in hot chilli peppers and now inedible. It was as though the kitchen staff were unhappy that the dish was returned and thought “she wants it hot! We’ll give her hot.” We paid for the meal and left. A waste of time and money, definitely do not recommend.

    Came in on a Monday night where there was only about 5 other people in the restaurant and after ordering an appetizer and drinks we didn’t see our server for another hour. 5 star restaurant prices for service worse than a Waffle House.

    The Top Shelf Enchiladas had good flavor, overcooked shrimp & very! little lobster. El Captaine margarita was decent but overpriced. My date liked the pineapple margarita, said the Beet salad a bit spicy. Overall I could spend the $$$ better elsewhere:(

    We went on New Years Eve to celebrate the new year and had a 10:30 reservation for a fixed menu. They were out of two of the five entrees and only had one desert left. I understand it was late but they knew how many reservations they had and should have planned accordingly. The menu was $45 per person which wasn't too bad but the quality of food was just ok, I would compare it to a chain Mexican restaurant so definitely not worth $45. Also, the waitstaff was so eagar to get out of there, they were pushy about ordering then no where to be found. I won't be back and it was a damper on our NYE experience.

    The best Mexican food we have ever had. The service was great and food was exceptional. I have to be gluten free as I have celiacs and their menu was very gluten sensitive friendly! Even labeled with celiac friendly foods. We will come back to Denver just to eat here!

    Great food and service. We were eating before and show and my sisters were very late due to an accident on the way. They were very helpful and accommodating . And you can’t beat Tuesday happy hour all day!

    Food was good, but took 45 minutes for our entrees to arrive. Waitress was nice, but was not very attentive and didn’t check in with us unless we flagged her down. Our table was near the door and the cold air was blowing in throughout the whole meal. I would consider going back for the food, but am a little leery about the overall service on a busy night.

    We really enjoyed our dinners. The blackened tuna (cooked medium) was done perfectly. The Traditional Asada steak with a lobster/shrimp enchilada was very good. However, the Tortilla Soup was AMAZING! I'd come back to just eat a bowl of their soup. I recommend the Margarita Flight as well - I really enjoyed the different flavors. I LOVE that the menu is so Gluten-Free and Celiac Friendly! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the service. Like every restaurant in town right now, there isn't enough wait or kitchen staff to meet demand. We went there before a show at the DCPA and had to scarf down our dinner to make it to the theatre in time. They were definitely doing the best they could and had a smile on their faces.

    Let me start by saying that the food was good. The queso fundido was great! The drinks were good too, but everything else was not great. They were busy, but the waitress was all over the place so we didn’t see her much. There was about a 20 minute gap between the appetizer and our meal showing up. Once the meal showed up, the order was wrong. My girlfriend order enchiladas with no meat. They had chicken in them. I ordered the max and cheese and cup of poblano corn chowder, both were supposed to come with jalapeño cornbread. I asked and she told me that they were out of cornbread. Something that would have been good to know before I ordered my food. I would not have ordered them if I had that information to begin with. Then, at the end of the meal, my girlfriend had about half her food and myself 3/4 of my meal, and the server asked if we were done. We said yes. She took our meals and never asked if we wanted a box to take it home, which we would have. Instead, into the trash it went. I’d say of the $82 dollars I spent, $40 of it was thrown in the trash. Just an unbelievable experience. I won’t be going back.

    So happy we tried the Blue Agave Grill downtown Denver. The ambiance was ok, nothing special or bad and it was fairly noisy, but the food, service and value were terrific. Wish there was a location closer to our home in Parker so we could go more often.
