   This was not our first time at BJs in Short Pump, and we will return. Unfortunately, our server had an entire area to herself, and what looked like a requirement to bust tables as well. It creates delays or mistakes that were beyond her control. She stayed calm and tried to be pleasant at all times.

   Service was good. Kitchen must’ve taken the night off. Everything was delayed - appetizer and main meal. Two of the mains came 10 minutes after others and all meals were lukewarm. Several tables were left uncleared from the time we arrived to when we left which was disconcerting. Manager nowhere to be found.

   The food was good, but the service was extremely slow. It took us over an hour to get our food, and the waiter was nice but constantly forgot requests.

   baby back ribs were tasty but the hardest to remove from the bones that I have encountered. Mixed vegetables were mushy waitress was friendly and attentive

   What can I say? Good food, frienldy,courteous and an atmosphere that you do not need to yell across the table to be heard. This was our first time and we will go back in the near future. Recommended !!!!!

   We enjoyed our meals. Steaks were not cooked properly but was remedied. Our waitress Louise was very nice and accommodating. We were there for Christmas Eve dinner. Would go back again.

    I made a reservation through Open Door just to go to a CLOSED restaurant! Open Door needs to ensure customers are not WASTING their time by making reservations to restaurants that have been closed for months! I no longer feel I can trust this app.

    A circus of mistakes. 2 of 5 meals delivered incorrectly. Condiments requested multiple times never brought to us. Drinks delivered slowly and erratically. Included desert had to be requested 3 times before it was brought - after some in our party had already left. Server never came by to ask if everything was ok - she may have had too many tables. Anyway - might be a long, long time before our group returns.

    I had been to BJs once before and could not remember why I had not been back. When I returned last week I kind of figured out why. There is nothing impressive about the place. Everything was ok, nothing great. The greeters were friendly. The wait staff was accommodating. The facility was ok (note the bathrooms needed better attention as two stalls were lacking TP.) Yet again nothing stood out to me to make this a regular place to visit.

    Our waiter was so thorough and knowledgeable! He gave the best suggestions and answered all of our questions without hesitation. They were quick and prompt with getting us good quality and delicious food. The restaurant wasn’t noisy at all and we could hear all of us talking to each other and able to have a good conversation without yelling to try and hear each other. I highly recommend this restaurant!

    The meal and the server were both good,BUT the hostess was rude and short with us. Despite having a reservation she told us she didn’t know when we would be seated. Another party of 5 ahead of us came over and told us she had been rude to them as well. Not a good first expression at all.

    The food was excellent but the service was terrible. We had to beg to get our water glasses refilled, we waited forever for our food - waitress only came by once to see how our food was. Tea was never refilled. She would wait on tables around us but for our table of 4 she ignored. We ordered, mix drinks, appetizers, a meal and dessert so it wasn't like we didn't spend enough money. If I going to spend that kind of money for a meal I would have atleast had our water & tea glasses refilled.

    Beware making a "reservation" on Open Table. All it does is gets you on the call ahead list. Don't call it a reservation unless you intend to seat people at the time of their reservation. I don't like being told it will be an additional 35-40 minute wait when we check in at our reservation time. Many other people made similar comments when checking in for their "reservation."

    Only thing to complain about is they don’t take reservations. So using opentable is useless as they only have call ahead. Need to address this.
