   Both our meals were incorrect and the rice was hard and undercooked. Likely just a one time thing because it’s been decent in the past.

   Our waitress was lovely! She was very attentive, charming, and kind. She helped us make decisions based of the menu, and wrote a nice “thank you” on the check which was nice to see. I enjoy coming here on road trips for the lovely lemonade, meals, and good company of the staff. Went here with my sister (we are both 20 but we appear like children) and the staff was very kind to us and treated us respectfully.

   Food took 50 minutes from time of order. 3 meals were sent back for being cold. Not even lukewarm cold. 4th meal was a large salad was fine. Prime rib was thinly sliced , cold did not look like the picture at all. They claimed they were recooking the entire meals. The only thing that was a recook was the prime rib. Unfortunately it was tough. Was not a quality piece of meat. For $30.00 I expected a better cut. The manager came over once to apologize. That was it, not even an offer a free drink or dessert. Very disappointed. My husband had been there before and raved about the burgers. Maybe it’s better at lunch time. Our waitress was also waiting on a party of 20 which she could not handle all her tables. For a $200.00 bill we expected better service and quality.

   One in party ordered appetizer spare ribs, they were spare alright, hard to find any meat on them.

   Our waiter was very inattentive. Forgot to put in one of the kids food orders. All of our food was cold when It came out. The food was tasty and the chef did a great job but our server had let the food sit so long that it was soggy and cold.

    Our server was excellent. Pleasant professional and fun! Entrees were delicious from burger to steak, chicken and salmon. All cooked as requested and served hot. Great atmosphere where every table looked like they were having a good time. Will definitely come back!

    Upon arrival, and mention of our reservation to the hostess, she told us that at this moment they were only offering seating at the bar. I tried to politely mention again that I had a reservation, just to encounter the same reply, giving us the choice of bar or waiting, not on the best tone. Not a mention on how much wait or that she apologized for the situation. We turned around to leave, and on our way out, she mockingly said have a good night. I turned around, ask for the manager and briefly explained the situation to her. She was at least empathetic and apologized for the situation, thing that I cannot say about the hostess after all the mess. After my experience, I have read similar negative reviews during the past weeks, which were replied by the management. Having bad customer service is bad, but acknowledging the problem and doing nothing is aggravated disregard. I will not step foot again in this location. There are too many restaurants in the Daytona area to stand this treatment.

    We had reservations for 6 and when we showed up with one more the hostess was very rude to us and told us she wouldn’t accommodate us. We ended up splitting up and sitting at the bar, where we had excellent service and a nice meal.

    Even though covid is making it hard for restaurants, we had to make a reservation, waited a few minutes to be seated. But the waiter was fabulous, you can tell he and all of the wait staff were working very hard. Food delicious!

    The hostess didn’t come to hostess stand for 15-20min. When she did, she didn’t say a word, just stared at me. Table was dirty and food wasn’t good. They were also very short staffed.

    It felt like our server was just an order taker. She entered our order into her tablet with very little human interaction. Would have been more pleasing if we could have just borrowed her device and entered it ourselves. Totally missed any chance to upsell with drinks and appetizers--pretty much rushed through to the check.

    Kathleen was amazing! We were there having a reunion of sorts with family - needless to say we were talking a lot and it took us a while to decide what we waned and order and we stayed at our table much longer than we would have normally (4 hours plus ?) She was super gracious and patient - she never made us feel rushed or like we had worn out or welcome and kept refilling our drinks. Would definitely recommend especially Kathleen!

    We chose BJ’s because the reviews said there were a lot of vegan options. Since we were in DB for vacation, we decided to give it a try. Vegan options were not a thing. One soup and cauliflower tacos minus sauce and cheese. The soup was good, but the tacos were tiny and lacking in substance. Our waiter was one that used “us” and “we” when referring to my daughter and I. This is just a pet peeve of mine. WE were not there on a date with the waiter... it’s just weird. I had a steak and potatoes, they were good. The dessert cookie was the highlight of our dinner. BJ’s isn’t on the list of must visit places when we come back, but it was okay.

    The server was very knowledgeable and made some good drink suggestions and drinks were great as well but the food was extremely bland it had no flavor at all not even salt so for spending $111 I would only return for drinks

    We've been to BJ's several times now. The food quality is not consistent. This last time we thought we're try the prime rib special - good deal for $24.95 (15oz prime rib, soup or salad, two sides, and dessert). I've had prime rib many times in my life and I've noted that I will never get it at BJ's again. It was dry! It was a red but absolutely no juice or moisture in our prime rib. When we go back. we'll stick with our usual or try something else. However, I do not recommend the prime rib.
