   My friend and I had brunch on Sunday. It was excellent! We need to go back regularly because there is so much more we want to try on the menu (both food and drink!). We enjoyed a wonderful time with tasty food. The Lobster Bisque was truly excellent!

   The Bistro Vendome recently moved from Larimer Square to Park Hill. The new location is wonderful. They've done a good job of giving their new location the ambiance of a bistro one might find in Paris. The food was, as it always has been, outstanding. Our waiter Rachel provided service was attentive and cheerful. It was a joy to be her customer. We were very pleased to re-acquaint ourselves with an old friend. The new location in Park Hill is also excellent because it doesn't have quite the parking challenges of their downtown location.

   Delightful food, expertly prepared, with attentive and knowledgeable service. Decor is charming while also feeling comfortable and welcoming. Parking along Kearney can be tough, but the neighborhood streets nearby easily accommodate visitors.

   Not as good as I remembered from the old spot. steak was raw not med rare, seafood stew ok very limited menu no specials of the day. overpriced and a hidden fee included in the bill. Service was good though

    2nd visit to the new location and both have been disappointing. This time the fish stew was lacking in ..... well, fish. Hoping this long standing Denver French food leader can find its' footing in Park Hill!

    Truly excellent food, but some growing pains at the new location. Steak frites are perfect, but waiter seemed lost. Surprisingly noisy - a lot of hard surfaces. Park Hill should prove to be a fine location.

    It was okay. Had a reservation, took at least 10-15 minutes to be seated. Service was fine, nothing amazing and nothing awful. Food all around was decent, but not a meal I’ll talk about for days/months/years to come. I do like a good brunch and would certainly consider returning to try theirs.

    I had the mussels for an appetizer, SO good. My girlfriend and I split the braised short rib dinner for 2, also VERY good. My only "complaint" is that the menu is pretty limited. I would have loved to try the duck but my girlfriend doesn't like duck and that was dinner for two. The dinner for 2 thing is tricky if you don't have similar tastes. My suggestion would be to check out the menu before you go.

    This was our first time at the new location. We liked neither the new location nor the ambiance compared to before. The food and drink were pretty good, but we wont go back. When friends visited, we liked to take them out but its no longer a special occasion restaurant for us. Also we arrived early for our reservation because when I booked it a month before they said there was a happy hour on the website but there wasnt. And when we asked for a taste of wine, a full glass was brought, and we were charged for it. Our bill was corrected when we reminded the server we had asked for a taste. Because the wine pores were short, we didn’t realize it was supposed to be a full glass. At the bar the drinks were good but the martini was also short. Disappointed.

    Love the new location of this iconic restaurant. Beautiful space and the food is better than ever. Had the French Onion soup, Steak Tartare, and Sweetbreads. All were awesome. Excellent wines; had the Ott Provence rose that was suggested by my server; Beautiful and a great pairing with the sweetbreads. Service was great. Excellent experience!

    We had been to the downtown location for brunch and enjoyed it, so when the restaurant relocated to Kearney St, we decided to try it during restaurant week. We purposely made a reservation for 5pm on Sunday thinking it would not be too crowded and were seated at a small table for two. When the hostess sat a party of 4 less than 18" away from us is when it got uncomfortable. It is impossible to be that close and not clearly overhear all their conversation. We felt compelled to rush through the rest of our meal. On the way out we noticed at least 4 empty tables where they could have sat our close neighbors. What about the food? It was good, although the shared dessert was a skimpy portion. We just wish we could have enjoyed it the way we had hoped.

    Not a good culinary experience at all. The service and restaurant is beautiful. Great atmosphere, and the wine we chose was excellent and delicious. Our server was very nice. But, the food that we were served was seriously lacking. The appetizers were mediocre: I’ve had much better and tastier pate at various French restaurants. The only ingredient that came through was raw onion. Not great. The sweetbreads were not prepared to showcase the main ingredient and were medium/ large diced, hidden under a over-lemony sauce. Served on a puff pastry. Just very underwhelming and I was excited to see sweetbreads on their menu. The steak frites were good, although the the perfectly cooked herb frites were heavily over salted to the point of nearly inedible so I wasn’t able to finish those. Such a shame, and I consider myself a salt person. My husband ordered the seafood stew which was also ok, but the sauce had not much depth of flavor. We were disappointed in this $200 plus meal for the culinary mediocrity, as well as looking forward to having a good French restaurant in the neighborhood of Park Hill. We won’t be returning unless the kitchen makes adjustments and taste more of their food going out.

    I love this place! Every aspect of our dining experience was on point. Server was friendly and knowledgeable, food amazing, and ambiance was perfect. You didn’t have to “yell” at each other to have a conversation. Loved visiting when it was located on Larimer, but now that it’s in Park Hill…I’ll be back more often for sure!!

    What a great brunch! We took our two little ones (toddler & 3 week old infant) out to brunch and it was wonderful. Very child friendly, wonderful service, and excellent food. We are so happy to have such a quality restaurant in our neighborhood.

    Food felt overpriced to me. Salad and dessert were yummy, everything else kind of blah. Service was some of the unfriendliest I’ve experienced lately. Atmosphere was pretty but impersonal. There are elements of great there - hope with more time this location will be able to shine more.

    Our waiter Doug knew the menu inside and out, including preparations of various dishes we asked about. Food was, for the most part, outstanding from the homemade bread and salted butter to the creme brûlée. The onion soup is untraditional in that the restaurant uses vegetable broth rather than beef broth, which gives a lightness and caters to a vegetarian diet. I prefer the richness of beef broth. The mussels came in a delicious, creamy sauce and the frites were seasoned beautifully and had an unusual sweetness which we enjoyed. The trout was the best ever and a dish I will go back for. Creme brûlée had a perfect crust and was loaded with vanilla flavor. Happy to have Bistro Vendome in the hood!
