Tasty and interesting food plus warm and attentive service added up to a very good experience. A bonus is the fact that they appear sensitive to the needs of a celiac sufferer, marking on the menu items that are gluten-free and answering questions about a soup special that generated trust in their adherence to my needs.

A very bad experience. While the waitstaff are earnest, they struck us as mostly both very young and very new. Good luck trying to order a bottle of wine, they don't have a wine list unless you want to pull it up on your phone. My partner ordered the beet salad, which he liked. My caesar salad was over laden with dressing that tasted out of a bottle, parmesan cheese that looked and tasted like it came out of a shiny green can, and very soggy croutons. I was so hungry I ate it anyway, that is, until I came to the wad of mud in one of the leaves (it looked like a bug). For entrees, I ordered a "special", crabcakes, which looked unlike any crabcakes I've every had...more like canned, shredded claw meat. He had a pasta dish with shrimp that was slathered in gloppy, over-garlicky sauce. To the restaurant's credit, they removed the crabcake entree from our bill. We will never go back there despite being locals.

Food was delicious but the servers were extremely inattentive despite the restaurant being pretty empty. Had to ask for refills of water and coffee plus dessert plates and silverware.

Even with a reservation, we waited 1.5 hours for food before we gave up. Did they try to appease us? Yes, but too little too late. The experience was already ruined and we left. A real disappointment because it was a special day and it was intended to be a celebratory meal.

It’s been a long time since I have been to this restaurant prior to ownership takeover, and I was expecting a little more than an average menu and food. The menu to me was lacking a little, and I had a hard time making my special dinner choice. The dish I ordered, the herb chicken dish was a little salty than I am use too. I did ask the server if they served bread with their entrees, which they do not. The server was nice enough and did serve me two pieces without charging me the breadbasket price indicated on their menu. We were seated upstairs in the restaurant which was quiet and relaxing until an hour into our meal. At that point the upstairs was taken over by a pre-arranged cinco de Mayo dinner group. Thank goodness, we were at the end of our dinner and decided at that point not to order dessert because of the group. This was suppose to be an anniversary dinner for my husband and I which we felt rushed out from the upstairs area due to the large group. If we return back to the restaurant in the future, I would to have a different experience than we did.
