Lovely restaurant with a variety of gluten-free options on its menu. The gluten-free pizza crust was actually quite tasty, and the service was very personable and responsive to any questions we had.

My son (visiting from his home in California) and I had a lovely dinner (duck for him, salmon for me) and great conversation (noise level was low, even though the standard tables were all full). Our server was knowledgeable and quietly efficient. Great experience and delicious food - I’m already planning to return soon. Many thanks to all who made our dinner a wonderful special occasion!

Brussels and mussels never disappoint. Cocktails on point. Entrees are always great. Didn’t catch the name of our server but she made the Limoncello cake which was topped with Taharka Bro’s sea salt ice cream and it was delish. Our server… she was excellent. Wished the one in Bel Air didn’t close down but we’ll drive further to support Birroteca Baltimore.

The food was subpar Drink refills were hard to come by. We had two Celiac patients and the server was not sensitive to ensuring gluten-free meals or avoiding cross contamination. The noise level was so high that conversation was difficult.

This is the place for fabulous artisan pizza and cocktails! Can’t get past the wonderful Brussels sprouts or the putanesca pizza! Nice wine list too. The bar is roomy and the original mill/stone walled dining room is cozy! Our go-to place-bartenders are very nice and informative!

Sam was the best server - and the evening was amazing. She was the exact right amount of attentive - and brought out the perfect drink when asked vaguely for something fruity but non-alcoholic. Every food item was top notch- from the calamari appetizer to the crunchy spicy chickpeas to the three different pizzas we tried. Love that It’s the same high quality as the before times.

This restaurant was recommended by a coworker and the did not disappoint. Everything was delicious; from the Brussel Sprouts appetizer to the Limoncello Cake topped with Taharka ice cream. Note - I would return just for the bruschetta - DELICIOUS Oh… and our server Kim made the best meal recommendations. We will definitely return.

Wow! Superior experience. The duck pizza is delicious & novel. Brussel sprouts were amazing; routine garlic bread stood out as some of the best ever; and service was excellent. It would have been great to have a regular table rather than a hightop. However, when a reservation is made for Christmas Eve with less than 24 notice, it’s understandable. Not to be missed.

The service was terrible. My server apparently did not put in my dinner order and everyone was done eating by the time my dinner came out. The server just said she made a mistake but never apologized or offered us anything. The manager never came over. All she needed to do was say "I am so sorry" can I get you a desert or let me talk to my manager. NOTHING.

While visiting the area for a band concert, we knew that we wanted to find a place with good Italian food. This place did not disappoint! We enjoyed everything that we ordered...white PEI mussels, pork belly, carbonara, risotto, and the wild mushroom pizza. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!

I like this place and the pizza is definitely worth the trip to Baltimore but the meatballs were served cold in the middle and the waitress was not to be found to get them heated up, so that was disappointing. We also got our pizza quickly and we were not finished our salads, so timing was off.

We had not been to Birroteca for several years but came in with 7 people for my sister’s birthday and every bite of food was excellent and our server was a delight. The white wine mussels, the boar ragu and the bruschetta were standouts. Pizzas were great! Will be back soon!

I hadn’t been here in years. I will definitely not be staying away so long this time. The food was fantastic, and the warm cozy atmosphere was perfect for a low-key evening with friends. Do not skip dessert with their glorious homemade limoncello.

Whether it was the wild boar bolognese, dirty martini, meatballs, carbonara, the tiramisu everything was absolute perfection. Shocked at how tasty everything was and how perfectly al dents the pasta noodles were. Our waiter was also absolutely great. He was very attentive but also gave us a good amount of space to enjoy the meal and conversation. Definitely coming back again soon.

Service really sets apart Birtotecca from other places. our waiter/bartender was fabulous. He had great food and drink recommendations and was extremely attentive and personal. The food was terrific and inventive. The DIluck Duck Goose pizza was my favorite.
