Using only the highest quality ingredients, Bin 54 elevates classic steakhouse dishes to a new level of refinement. Staged in a warm contemporary setting, diners are offered glimpses of the wood-fired grill, semi-open kitchen and the temperature controlled wine room stocked with an extensive inventory of both eclectic and traditional selections. We also offer three private dining rooms; the Wine Cellar, which seats up to 8 guests, the Aberdeen Room, which seats up to 16 guests, and the Solarium, which seats up to 30 guests. This is a strip mall restaurant next to a flooring and countertop store and an eye doctor. Not at all what we expected for a date night out at a supposed steakhouse. But some of the lack of a good location and lack of ambiance could have been forgiven if the food was good. It was not. The filet and the sides were so salty and smokey we couldn’t even finish our meal. This place is not worth your time or money, go somewhere else….actually any place else!

Such a great spot to celebrate special occasions! Nick, our server, was fantastic (as were all of the other associates we had interactions with). The food was perfect. The champagne toast and anniversary plate with our dessert were extra special touches for our 31st.....

The food and service is amazing as always. We always come here to celebrate milestones and friendships. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my leftovers went home with me. We definitely will be back and highly recommend.

Maybe I expected more from this restaurant being from New Orleans as it was my first time to UNC, but this was mediocre. High priced and bland. It was extra for blue cheese crumbles on my wedge salad (is it even a wedge salad if that isn't on it?) That's like going to a Mexican restaurant and them charging you for chips and salsa. The filet came out served sliced..., great cut of meat and perfectly cooked, but absolutely nothing to it, no salt or seasoning, nothing. The best thing they served was the au gratin potatoes. Waitress seemed nervous and we could barely hear her soft voice. She did ok, but with the lack of patrons at that time on Saturday night, I thought the rest of the waitstaff could have been more attentive.

It was such a treat to get to dine with Bin 54 again. The food and service were great as always. I regard the steaks at Bin 54 as the best in NC. The sides are also expertly prepared and a perfect complement to the perfect entree. And of course the ambiance is unmatched. Even with a full house we could comfortably carry on conversation. Thank you Bin 54. Your expertise and efforts are appreciated and enjoyed.

Excellent experience - first time at 54. They made my niece’s birthday a special occasion. Food was top notch. They offered a South African wine selection that wasn’t available so they had excellent backups for the win. Steak was expertly cooked- sides complimented perfectly. We’ll be back.
