We offer a variety of options with regard to private events. We designed and built our restaurant to be able to offer multiple experiences within the same space. We have a's Table for 15 that offer an amazing experience private experience. We can do events for up to 40 people in our lounge which is separated from our upper floor dining. We can do a more casual event of up to 30 people in our bar area with high tables and the bar. We can also do events for up to 250 people that would include a variety of different experiences throughout the restaurant; high tables, bar area, raw bar, lounge and private room, all in one. Truly unique experience unlike any other place in Detroit. Location, flexibility, attention to detail and overall philosophy of putting our guest ahead of everything makes for one of a kind experience at BESA.

Everything at Besa, from the food to the service, was impeccable. The lamb shoulder appetizer was the highlight of the evening, and we were so impressed by how accommodating and personalized the whole experience was.

The entire experience surpassed my expectations. EVERYTHING was delicious! And if you are able to, request "G" as your server! And if you really want to have fun, tell them to "drive!" You won't be disappointed!

Took my Wife, Mother and Daughter here for Mother's Day brunch. I like the environment and layout of the place. The food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed there food. Our waitress ( Eva ) was very helpful. She was knowledgeable of everything on the menu. The customer service from the staff was A1.

We had brunch at Besa for Mothers Day and the food was excellent, very flavorful. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The staff was friendly. Now I have to come back for dinner!

Awesome restaurant with amazing food. One of the best in the city that’s for sure. Great appetizers however they are small and made for 1-2 people, keep that in mind when ordering.

We haven’t been since 2019 but this place remains an island of sophistication, hospitality, and fine and creative cuisine in downtown Detroit. Our waiter (G) did a great job and one of the owners came by our table to talk about our wine selection. A special occasion restaurant. The only negative is that the plexiglass barriers put up for COVID serve to amplify the ambient noise in the booths. Open tables by the window might be better/ quieter?

Food portions were quite small for the high prices and our main entrees came out about an hour after ordering. The ambience was very strange, the restaurant is located on the corner of two streets and you could see people looking at you directly into the restaurant which was very off putting for a fancier restaurant.

Strange Strange Evening We were a little late for our reservation and Besa called us. I explained to the hostess we are just around the corner and will be there in 5 min or less. She said not a problem. We arrived at the restaurant and were told our table was released to another party and our only option was to sit at the bar. We complied and had a wonderful meal and service. BUT While eating we noticed several empty tables. The tables sat empty for 90 plus minutes. Paying a little of $250 for dinner and drinks and being told our table is gone was upsetting. Besa will not be on the top of the list for the next outing.

Our waitress Gi was the absolute best! She made us feel so welcomed and didn’t let me lift a finger to even change forks or put my napkin in my lap. She was present, but not TOO present, and very helpful. The food was delicious, cooked perfectly, and present well. The drinks were high quality too (not like a chili’s drink, and not watered down or overly sugary). 10/10

Rae was our waitress. She gave amazing energy and menu options that she highly recommended. All of the staff were so nice and friendly. And the lamb shoulder and lamb chops with spinach were perfection. Will be a regular rotation on my date night list.
