Great place to enjoy outside (or inside) on Main Street. I like the tapas/small plates format. A lot of choices, my friend and I split 4 different plates which was enough for us. It is not cheap, but there's a good range of prices for the plates. Also our server Shannon was wonderful. We never felt like we were ignored, she was able to provide recommendations and she vas very personable. I've been here a few times and haven't been disappointed.

This was my third visit here. Usually I have a good experience. It was unfortunate that in this particular visit, my waitress was very impatient and unpleasant. What made it worse, is that we were celebrating a birthday on this particular visit.

This was my third time visiting Bella Vino and I feel totally confident saying that this place is one of my favorite places in the entire St. Louis area. If you live in the city, it’s worth the drive across the river. Great service, delicious drinks, and amazing food. I recommend it to everyone!

Sorry you didn't have a good experience Madeline. We don't allow the staff to work sick so all I can think of is allergies since it's the season but its still not pleasant to see that, I would agree. I checked with all the staff and addressed it with them. Take Care.

Made reservations for front patio, arrived a bit early and was told we would be put on the back courtyard. There were three open tables and since my reservation did not bounce back with other options I had to insist three times on getting a patio table. The hostess finally accommodated my request. The table next to us was never occupied the entire time we where there. Now for the food, it was outstanding and the sangria delicious. It all worked out for a pleasant Saturday afternoon.

Outstanding dining experience. The food was simply as good as it gets. We had a salad with fried asparagus and artichoke hearts which was unique and very well done with a vert tasty chili vinaigrette dressing. The three tapas that we ordered were exceptional… My favorite was a wild mushroom and lobster ravioli. This plate was seriously one of the tastiest combinations of flavors I have ever had. We also had an Italian type sauce with fried goat cheese. Something that you serve on toasted bread. Lastly we had lamb rib chops over quinoa. All were perfectly prepared. Service was excellent. Attentive but not pushy. Our waitress, Allison, did a great job with our wine selection… and against all odds talked us into a desert to take home… a great bread pudding. The restaurant is nice and cozy. The room we were in was small enough for maybe 8 tables. High ceilings. Looks like a nice refined old home… Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone looking for great fine dining. I would go back for certain.

Our first time and we really liked everything we tried. Absolutely loved the Calamari and Lobster Ravioli. We will definitely be back. The staff was hard working and friendly, it’s a busy place because it’s good.

The food was amazing! The Bella bonfire is the best thing on the menu and it comes out on fire! Can’t go wrong with cheese and bread! The lemon butter rigatoni is amazing as well. It took awhile to get the food but was well worth it! We sat outside on the front patio so the noise level wasn’t great but it wasn’t horrible either. I will def be back!
