Came here for a birthday dinner based on the great reviews whilst we were visiting the sunshine coast and it exceeded my expectations. The service was top notch! The front of house staff were exceptional in their warm greetings, quick and attentive service and the food and cocktails were amazing. Overall very impressed & would highly recommend

The risotto last night was not the quality we’d expect from an Italian restaurant. I had overseas guests and was embarrassed when they could not eat their meal. Our server was excellent!

Bella Benezia has turned in to a VERY VERY expensive & yuppy restaurant. What happened to the laid back little Italian restaurant that I use to dine at 20+ years ago. I thought I'd go back as I had not eaten there for at least 15+ years & was really saddened to see that the restaurant had changed from casual to Ala Carte. Meals were ok but definitely could not justify paying nearly $400 for the 4 of us each having only 2 drinks each, a main meal each, one being a pizza & 2 deserts. The pizzas aren't even any where as nice as they use to be. So sad that cute little places have to change. Won't be returning unfortunately

Food was beautiful but I am still in shock at the prices. $40 for 3 prawns cut in half… $9 for a 0% beer… $14 for a Stone & Wood. Also a 10% surcharge on Sunday. Enjoyed the experience but could not justify going back with the exorbitant prices.

The beef cheek sauce was mushy and the pasta was tepid. My wife enjoyed her two side dishes, as a main. The waiter was very attentive and the venue among the best in Mooloolaba. The prices reflect the upmarket vibe, but my ancestry is Italian and I've had much better. JohnS

We had a great time at Bella Venezia. The wait staff were very attentive - Brendan was very humorous and gave us good details about each dish. The cocktails were so yummy. We felt so well looked after and of course, the food was excellent.

Busy night but waited far too long for our drinks nearly 30 minutes, and had to ask waiters twice for the wine, got entree and before finished entree the mains arrived, which were sent back to the kitchen, suggest more communication between staff

We were celebrating my 70th birthday. This was a fantastic fine dining experience without feeling posh. The food was amazing and the service by Tonino friendly, funny and Knowledgeable . He was a great help with our choices. The wine waiter was a joy to watch. Not cheap but we'll worth it.

The food was nice. Definitely not value for money. $220 for 1 entree, 2 mains and an over priced bottle of wine. It was very noisy as there was a festival going on outside ( obviously not the restaurants fault) so it certainly puts a dampener on the atmosphere when you can’t hear yourself think! Overall I wouldn’t not go again but it was a disappointing experience

Bella Venezia best place to dine. The food was excellent, and so was the service. Our waiter Brendan was very helpful and service was outstanding, and Stefania was our drinks waiter, and she was also outstanding, and with deserts Daz was also outstanding. We would highly recommend dining at Bella Venezia, we have been going there for more than 13 years, and it has never let us down. Try it, you wont regret it.

We booked a table and were excited at the prospect of dining at Bella Venezia. We were tempted by the sound of a 4 course menu that sounded delicious and was highly recommended by our friendly waiter Marco. At a slated price of $129 per head we thought, “Why not” Drinks arrived after a short time, which was quickly followed by extremely small taster consisting of an olive, some finely diced onion, tomato chutney and goat cheese and tiny garnish. The whole thing would barely have filled a teaspoon. Pleasant tasting but not worth the effort. This was followed by yellow fin tuna sashimi. Very small slithers of fish beautifully presented. Lobster Ravioli then followed which was again presented beautifully. The pasta was a little underdone but the accompanying champagne sauce was very pleasant. The Eye Fillet with roasted parsnip and red wine jus was next. Consisting of approximately 100gr of tender Eye fillet perfectly cooked although it needed seasoning, a mushroom sauce reduction, a small peice of parsnip and some red wine jus to pour. Again beautifully presented but the wait between courses was ridiculous. Dessert arrived after what seemed an absolute eternity, with a rather dense Vanilla Panacotta with fresh raspberries, raspberry sorbet, vanilla crème and petit leaf shaved biscotti. Very elegant presentation but the hero of the dish, the panacotta was disappointing. A little surprise in the form of Petit Fours then came along courtesy of our very friendly waiter Marco. Very tasty little fancies. Overall the experience was pleasant but at $325 including 2 wines and 2 spirit drinks was very much overpriced. To leave, still hungry after 6 of the smallest courses I’ve ever experienced was both surprising and extremely disappointing for an Italian Restau. Offering fine dining seems to be an excuse to charge high prices and deliver well under par for customer satisfaction. Italian restaurants used to leave the diner smiling. Not Bella Venezia. 😞
