Located at Jamaica Bay Inn on Mothers Beach in Marina Del Rey, Beachside Restaurant offers a casual experience for sophisticated diners. Enjoy indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views of the marina. Our newly redesigned restaurant boasts large accordion windows and French doors which seamlessly bring the beach, garden and marina inside. With nearly a third of the restaurant seating outside on the trellis-covered patio, our dining area offers a majestic al fresco setting with fire pits and expansive views. Easily accessible from the lobby of the Jamaica Bay Inn, Beachside Restaurant is open for brunch & dinner. Our patio is dog friendly.

*Reservations are limited to 8 people per party. We do not allow reservations for multiple tables.

Pulled up to Valet, (highly recommended) We made our reservations online for 12:30pm got in a bit early and they still took us in at 12pm. The beautiful Lindsay Litt ordered the chicken and waffles. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese with crispy potatoes. We added the Avocado toast as well. To drink, they bring you a bottle of water that you can keep pouring yourself. Very convenient. Lindsay ordered a vanilla latte, it was so good we ordered a second one. We sat outside at the patio with breath taking views. Not as good as the view I had to see the love of my life in front of me:). It was romantic, one can see out to the marina, the sun gleaming, the water flickering from the bright rays. It’s an absolute must go to place. We started thinking what about 4th of July, so we asked Antonio our waiter, ( shout out to Antonio, super cool guy. Very quick attentive and great customer service skills) Antonio mentioned it’s the best spot to come see the fire works they have right on the marina. The food superb, the atmosphere was amazing, the drinks outstanding, there is not one thing bad about this place. Lindsay and I had a great amazing time took lots of pics. Stop reading and set your reservations.

The location is beautiful! Starting any day with brunch with friends at this location only sets the tone for a perfect day! We had outstanding service and the food and drink options were great! We couldn’t decide on some dishes, so we ordered extra and shared amongst our group of 6.

Service was very poor, beginning with our reception. We were seated in and areas that had filthy chairs and bench seating that was too damaged and dirty to even sit on. Multiple times servers brought food to us that was not of our order and for the outrageous prices the food was average at best.

Went for a pre-Mother's Day brunch, reserved on Open Table. Sat outdoors with view of the cove; the patio is a gorgeous, the ambiance lovely. Comfortable seating, and open air space is not too noisy to enjoy conversation. Our server was great. And the food - the food!!! - was phenomenal - the Crabcakes Benedict are to die for!!! we also shared a fabulous scramble. At every table, people were oozing happiness. A great place for a special event. Big recommend.

I was very disappointed with the Beachside cafe. They’ve raised their prices a lot and decreased he quality of foods. Everything was basic and mediocre and not worth the price! This used to be a moderately priced restaurant with ok food. Now it’s an extremely expensive restaurant with below par food.

We choose to eat outside for lunch. The ambiance was lovely but it was very windy. The wait staff brought us blankets to keep warm which was appreciated because it was cold.

The hostess was rude, did not sit us or explain why we had to wait. the food was terrible, overpriced and no flavor. It was kind of chilly and we requested to turn on the heater, dint do it- so, we picked our stuff and moved inside, and nobody complained. Overall, nothing worked for us and would never go back.

We arrive 15 min late for 2pm appt, which was acceptable per the restaurant confirmation. I responded to a text saying that we were “on our way” and then tried to call, but the line was busy. When we arrived, the server who sat us and said that the kitchen was closing soon. When we wanted to order dessert, we were told that the kitchen was closed. Meanwhile, the bar area 2 feet away was still open and serving food for the next hour that we sat on the beach outside the restaurant!!! Why did they tell us that we could be seated, if they couldn’t fully serve us? Why didn’t they take our dessert reservations earlier, if they knew the kitchen was going to close?

Didn't Get Seated Until 40 Minutes After Our Reservations Time. Service was very slow and inattentive to our table. No follow up to our table except for clearing dishes. Even the orange juice took quite a while.

Service from the valet, hostess, to servers was terrible. Restaurant was dirty, food on floors and dirty tables and chairs. Manager was really receptive and accommodating when we complained, but overall our family brunch was ruined

An odd Easter Day brunch menu with pancakes served before the entree. Descriptions of dishes were vague eg Ham Benton did not mention it was prosciutto on toast with poached eggs. Our waiter was very solicitous and the location is lovely.

Great location, Valet makes it easy to park. Food was excellent, service from Antonio was solid, the floor around us and the other tables were dirty, but it may have been the end of a lunch rush, and they did slowly get to all of it. It was very breezy on the patio, but they had heaters so we asked for one to be turned on, took a couple of times and a new tank, but that helped. I'd definitely go back - guess taht is the easiest way of reviewing.

Very expensive for what was served. Dine LA was not much of a bargain. The size of the serving of salmon was like something you used to get on an airline. Very limited wine list.

Great location, great view. Amazing food. The grilled octopus appetizer was plentiful and tasty, the salad had interesting and flavorful ingredients. The Salmon was spot on. Will happily return.
