   It was one of the most memorable dining experiences we have had. It was our anniversary and Malkit, the hostess, greeted us with a smile and ensured we had a comfortable table. Ashley, our server, really made us feel at home as if it was her own place. She helped us with the menu attentively answering our questions. She also ensured that the food came out hot and ready to eat! Ashley came by several times to make sure we were having a “Good Baton Rouge” experience. To cap off our experience the restaurant owner, Bardia Bafti, spent a lot of time with us and also surprised us with an anniversary dessert including a sparkler on top. We really understood at the end how dedicated Bardia and his staff are to make sure their customers are well taken care of to ensure they have the “Baton Rouge”experience. We will never forget this experience. Thank you so much Bardia for your mouth watering cuisine and newly created friendship. We will be back soon to Barrie’s “hidden jewel”.

   Fantastic the moment we walked in. Greeted and seated immediately, drinks were served within a few minutes of being seated. All staff were attentive and gave excellent service. The food was outstanding! Fresh and delicious! Will definitely be visiting again!

   The steaks of my two dining companions were in their words ‘excellent’! I just had a couple of starters and found my shrimp dish disappointingly overdone and on the dry side. Would happily recommend this to any friend looking for steak though.

   My wife and I attended for Valentine's day, on a recommendation from an associate. From the moment we walked in the door we were made to feel comfortable. We were seated at a table for two with soft-seated chairs, the waitress was prompt and courteous. I enjoyed the Rickard's Red on tap. We both had the filet mignon with bernaise sauce, and although I seldom use this expression, it was "to die for". What a tasty piece of beef! The veggies were done just the way I like them. The main course left us with just enough room to split a creme broule for an absolutely perfect ending to a fine meal. I took the time to write this review, because we were that impressed. I have and will, recommend The Baton Rouge (Barrie) to anyone who wants a good steak dinner. William G.

   Our server, Taylor, was the best part of the night. She did a great job despite how busy it was. The table we had was horrible, but expected considering it was Valentine's Day (take that into consideration with this entire review). My steak came out over-cooked. They were happy to take it back and cook me a new one. So my partner and I ate at different times which was a little frustrating. My next steak came back charred (kind of like a Chicago style which I didn't ask for). The owner of the restaurant came to us and offered us a $50 gift card instead of taking anything off the bill which is just a clever tactic to have us come back and spend more money... needless to say we will not be going back, especially be cause the owner never came back to give us said gift card and we were in a hurry to get to the movie that we had bought tickets for. I had no intentions to track him down for it either. Moral of the story, I'm sure this is a great restaurant with great food on a day where it's not as busy. Obviously I expected mid-tier quality since I work in a restaurant and understand how busy it can get both in the back and front of house. However, this was just disappointing.

    Waitress was no where to be seen, saw her about 3 times. My steak was undercooked and more than half was fat.

    The night started off very well drinks right away and were told about the menu and features. Ordered lobster stuffed mushroom and had some pieces of shell in the mushrooms, the manager came over to apologize which was nice offered a replacement but declined as i was thrown off. The entrees were great, took a while after enjoying dinner to receive the bill and was surprised to see the stuffed mushrooms were still on the bill just paid and left. Entrees were enjoyed by all in our party.

    We had a great time at batonrouge Barrie. Server was very attentive. Owner came to the table and introduced himself. Food was tasty. I ordered ribs and chicken at the ribs were best I have ever had! Definitely will return soon.

    Food was not great but service was excellent. Prime rib was extremely tough and cold . Very costly plain meal but the staff was very courteous.

    Did not get the request we asked for and instead were put out in the middle of the dining room. And when we asked to change they told us that booths were for 4 people, but when I looked around 4 booths only had 2 people - don’t lie to me. Won’t be back. The only saving grace was the server who was knowledgeable, friendly and. efficient. My steak was ok but only a grade A, the stacked potato was not even a potatoe and probably had over a pound of cheese on it. Disappointed

    We were seated immediately and our waitress took our drink orders within minutes. Our appetizers and our main dinners were very good. We met the floor manager who came and spoke with us and wished us a Happy New Years. BR has always been our go to for special events.

    We ate at Baton Rouge after skiing in Barrie and it was a great experience. The food and drinks were great. The staff was so friendly and attentive. I recommend it to everyone. We’ll definitely go again.

    Courteous and friendly staff, online reservation was super easy and they accommodated our son no problem. The food was absolutely amazing, fair value for the prices (we expected this type of price range with the quality of food they offer). Only negative was maybe the kids meal had way too many fries with the mini burgers (fries were so tasty he didn't want to eat the burger)! We loved it and will be back.
