   If Bas Rouge was in DC, it would be twice the price and have Michelin stars. Second time there, amazing meal and service. One of our guests has several food allergies, and the chef prepared a special main course and accommodated the gluten/dairy/nut allergies.

   Our once-a-month special lunch. Incredible yellowtail crudo amuse bouche, a perfect smoked haddock croquette, cod cheek special in a divine light curry. The sommelier chose a perfect light red from the Chateauneuf de Pape region. Service the best possible!

   What a gem in Easton. Combined with an amazing charcuterie and wine shop, a juice shop, a killer coffee shop. Dinner was lovely but the wine list was super impressive, and desserts were sublime.

   Bas Rouge is a fine dining treasure! The food is expertly prepared and beautifully plated. The dining room is warm and inviting. The front of house staff is welcoming, professional, and well-informed about all of the menu items. The wine list is also superb, especially if you happen to be a fan of Champagne or Burgundy. I just wish I could clone this lovely spot and move it a tad bit closer to home so that my wife and I could frequent it much more often. We can't wait to return!

    Superb lunch. Starters of oysters and scallops, mains of sous vide salmon and steak frites. All was amazing. Paired with an aged Beaujolais. Perfect.

    A rare occasion for us, dinner out. We LOVE Bas Rouge for our monthly “fancy lunch”, but we decided to try try the Wednesday evening winter prix fixe, which was perfect.

    Food was good, though desserts were subpar. Service attentive but cold. Very tacky that they offer water, plain or sparkling, and then charge $9 per person for water, having never said anything about a charge for it. All we wanted was plain old tap water, which wasn’t offered. We might return but not rushing back.

    My wife and I enjoy fine dining from time to time and were delighted to find Bas Rouge right in downtown Easton, MD. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by name and led to a small bar where we took in the ambiance and ordered drinks. We were then seated and enjoyed a fabulous four course meal prepared by a visiting chef from a Michelin star restaurant in NYC. Overall, an excellent experience we look to repeat very soon.

    We went for my husband's birthday dinner and everything was amazing! From the time we sat down with a glass of champagne and amuse bouche, to the 4-course pre-fixe menu and finished with dessert, it was over the top delicious! Service was professional yet discreet. Highly recommend dining here....and you won't need an occasion to do so!

    It was Christmas Eve … and all through the house, the staff was bustling to serve with the greatest of flair. The bar was tended with care by Taylor who knew his Champagnes…And every other liquid at his side! The staff was cheerful and festive… I hope all their gifts were ready to, well, gift! All of us guests lingered with bellies full of venison and roast beef along with delicious sweets. A night to remember for sure…until we meet again next Christmas Eve. Thank you Bas Rouge…it was absolutely delightful!

    Very nice ambiance. Service exceptional. Food not exceptional. Example; fancy truffle mashed potatoes cold. Brussel sprouts just cooked. Oysters excellent. Tenderloin excellent. Sauce on tenderloin same as most restaurants. Wine list has to be the best In Talbot County. Wish everything came together. Could have been an exquisite experience.
