Barton G. The Restaurant - Miami Beach
Celebrated my husband birthday and I feel like it wasnt worth the hype. I came all the way from jersey just to see was the hype of this place. The food is not all that for the price. The desert is what makes the place but everything else is over priced and the service is SUPER SLOWWWW!! But if you want to just go for the experience I would do it. Just make sure you have your wallet ready
Great atmosphere and whimsical food, a fun night
Very DISAPPOINTED as a customer for 10 yrs. Service bad. got first drinks after appetizers. Just for those excessive prices service should be. etter
The food was okey, but to expensive. You pay for the experience and the creative way they present the food. It was way too loud in the restaurant, we could barely speak to eachother.
Very expensive for what it is. Food was not great, very loud.
The lobster that was order had a really bad smell and taste and we weren’t able to eat it,however the server took it off the check and offered a complimentary dessert to make it better.
First time here. We heard about Barton G from a friend and how fun it was. We had a blast, our server Julie was a riot and provided top shelf service and entertainment to the table. Here are a few pictures of the crazy ways the food was served. The food was outstanding.
Birthday celebration awesome experience
It s the typical restaurant that it s ok but i wouldnt come back. The food is standard...the noise is so so high that is impossible to talk. You feel that they want u to leave...they hurry u up for everything.
The dishes have very original deco.
Absolutely excellent! Great food, ambiance, and the presentation is like nothing you’ve ever seen before!!
Very expensive and not very good.
The food was extremely overpriced. I understand that it would be a little more because of the presentations. But not worth that much more. I was trying to keep the bill in a reasonable range so we shared 3 appetizers and 3 meals. Unfortunately my son chose one of the specials and I had no idea how much it would be. My fault for not asking but they charged $165 for that one meal. Which included a lobster that was horrible. We clearly did not eat the lobster and my tuna was also a special that she pushed me to get - I had wanted the one that is a meal on the menu - also was barely touched. I felt she should have recognized that it was not eaten and asked and offered something. She knew I had wanted the other tuna dish. The presentations are fun and the dessert presentation was a hit. It just put me way out of my budget for a while. I didn't leave with the good feeling I was hoping to leave with.
Everything we ordered was amazing except the salmon entree it was just ok.
Production is over the top which makes it fun!
Service was great and really enjoyed my experience
Exceptional service. Wait staff is knowledgeable and extremely friendly.
As always a fun and interactive experience worth spending extra for!
I celebrated my birthday. My waiter Michael I think was his name was amazing. He was very informative and nice.overall my food was so amazing
This was absolutely one of the best experiences of a restaurant on South Beach we have experienced. The food was extremely good, service was impeccable and the total experience is something everyone should experience for a special occasion.
Enjoyed the novel presentation of the food and drink. The deserts were outrageous!
Very creative presentation. Food was good but the prices were over the top! A plain old Dirty Martini for $27, $40 for dessert! That’s just ridiculous. It’s a one shot restaurant for me. $144 for one person and I only had one drink and no dessert! It was unique but I would not go back with those prices
It’s all about presentation but the food quality was average and very very expensive for what you get. They also did not bring out one of the side dishes I had ordered.
Amazing service and food!!!
Went here out of town for my daughters 12th birthday and she enjoyed every second of it especially the birthday cotton candy head I would recommend this restaurant to any whom it was nice
Awesome presentation of meals, food was delicious service was excellent. I forgot to write down our servers name, but I do remember he is a Pittsburgh Steelers fan like me. Great attitude and very good at explaining all the meal and drink options. My favorite drink was the Diamonds are Forever! Thank you
Barton G. provides unique experience in dining with absolutely delicious food and exceptional meal presentation.
My family loves this place and we come here every time we visit Miami.
Great place that is definitely worth a drive. The food is displayed very creatively and you'll want to take some pictures to show your friends. Even though most people go to Barton G's for the presentation I was really impressed by the food. Everything was delicious. Also, our waitress was excellent and very attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a group because it is so fun to see how each dish is presented. There was a group sitting near us and I think they had a special menu prepared for them. We saw several kids in the restaurant too so that's no problem.
Not to good
Overpriced and overrated. The presentations are great and entertaining, but my $48 sea bass dinner was disappointing. The description sounded like it came in parchment. It came out in a brown paper bag, which the server cut off the top with a flourish. Eating the fish out of the bag with soggy vegetables underneath in the bag not fun. The carrots, asparagus, and potatoes came in a small pail and were undercooked. Most desserts start at $25, big enough to share, but still pricey. On top of that, valet parking was $17.
Barton G is definitely an experience not to be missed. Seriously, if you want to impress someone or have a special occasion to celebrate this is the place to go. Everything from the staff to the food was outstanding. We will definitely return!
Barton G's never disappoints. The food always amazing, the service top notch. The food presentation is to die for. Highly recommend.
A great place for my birthday dinner
It was my Birthday and me and my family had an amazing time
Too expensive really! Nice presentations but not for so much money.
Awesome and fim experience
Fun experience and great food presentation, but it is pricey! Definitely a special occasion type of restaurant. Better with 6-8+ People. Desserts are meant to be shared :)
Excellent food and a great place to have a dinner!
Barton G is a super fun restaurant to celebrate a special occasion! The food is larger than life and it’s fun to see what other tables are ordering as well. The outside dining area is really beautiful and romantic. The food and drinks are very overpriced, but you are paying for the experience of it. Was disappointed that they no longer give you your bill in an envelope that says “the damage” but have you pay on an iPad. Also disappointing that 18% tip is automatically included, even though our service was not great.
Not what I was expecting.. food isn’t that great
Fun as a novelty place but the prices are not justified. $40 for an overly heavy desert. They also took the displays which were the best part off the table right away. The waiter was nice and environment pleasant but prices ridiculous
