   They ran out of the one dish that we wanted to come there for. Everything else was mediocre sub par. The place was extremely noisy and the staff was resetting tables slamming them into the floor all around us. Horrible experience. Our waiter, however, was very nice.

We did sell out of Benedict during brunch as we do every Sunday. This is also why we switch to the lunch menu after Drag. I had the server and kitchen to allow you to order from the brunch menu. I apologize for the serve who dragged the table we immedately assisted him to prevent any further disruption. I also checked on you twice never did you say there was an issue

   We attended the Drag Brunch and loved the entire experience! The space is gorgeous and intimate. The food was great with a lot of options on the brunch menu. Very reasonably priced bottomless mimosas. The show was so much fun and the Queens were fabulous! Highly recommend!

   This was our second time. The first time was fabulous, but this time not so great. They seriously need to turn down the lights in the restaurant. It was so bright it made it feel weird. There was only 1 waiter and a bartender and they were trying their hardest, but it wasn't enough. We waited forever to be greeted and to even order drinks. All of our food, appetizers and all, came out at the same time. It felt like we were there on opening day of someone's first restaurant. It is sad that the good food might not make it out there due to the service and feel.

   The food was delicious! The Brussels sprouts were fried perfectly crisp and the truffle fries were so good, I now crave them every day 😝

   Great food - great location and lovely team especially Tamara. It’s a shame we were the only diners as everyone who want there missed out. I would encourage people to support this place - love the fact that you choose your wine from the display rather than the menu - more fun !

    Amazing time, outstanding service Tamara was amazing and the drinks were on point, the queens lifted my spirits which was sorely needed after a bad day on bourbon. Wish I was a local so I could come back next week

    The drag brunch was so fun! The girls were so entertaining and the food was great. Our waitress Tamara was amazing and made the experience an 11/10! We were just visiting NOLA for the weekend but will definitely come back!

    The pork cheeks were tiny and had an odd flavor like a musty old house. The chicken piccata was ok but was served with a pile of angel hair pasta with nothing on it.

    We wanted to be near the Frenchman’s ave music scene for dinner so chose this place— it’s a couple blocks from incredible music scene. Restaurant has a small menu— small plates and entrees. Cocktails and wine list were nice. We found the space to be a little loud and “retail store” vibe. Server was attentive and pleasant. We felt a little rushed Eggplant with crab small plate crispy with very little crab in it. Brussel sprout “small plate” was a huge bowl. Weird. Partner had a chicken with pasta that had great flavor but small portion. Overall food was just ok. Nothing special.

    Barrilleaux's Restaurant and Wine BarResponded on June 10, 2022I would love to know who your server was and do some coachng with them. 1. the eggplants we have been getting have been unusually large and it does make the 4oz of crab seemed skimpy, so I do appologize for that the kitch should have cut them down more. 2. the brussel are not nessecarily a small plate youre right but they are an entree either. They a great shared item. Guess maybe we should look at that discription a little better. Thanks for your feed back we hope you'll visit agin soon.

    Fun Surprise Sunday Drag Brunch on Mother's Day that had my wife laughing from beginning to end. The service staff did well considering everything going on in the room. The room is very, very nice.

    Service rushed, then absentee. Who runs a wine bar without a wine list?

As for the wine list we do have a wist of our wines by the Glass but the bottle change so often we would be changing the list daily. We provide a large array of specailty wines by the bottle and offer ou r guest the chance to explore those displayed options. I'm sorry if you weren't a fan of our style.

    Everything I had (fried green tomatoes, pomme frites, shrimp & grits) was really good. Even one of my dining companions who's a professed "picky eater" with a sensitive stomach, enjoyed his meal and couldn't find anything to complain about. When a lot of restaurants are using staffing shortages as an excuse to provide subpar service, Thaddeus (the GM) and his staff were prompt and attentive. As a local who's always looking for good places to recommend and bring out-of-town guests, Barrielieu rises to the top of my list. The fact that it's within walking distance to Frenchman Street is a plus, for anyone who wants a more authentic New Orleans experience.

    Our dinner was late (by New Orleans standards) after Jazz Fest. The restaurant was quiet but the welcome was warm and the service was exceptional. We all loved our food and drinks. Would very happily recommend.

    We loved everything about Mama Honey’s drag brunch. It was super fun, is a beautiful property, had great food with excellent service and the ladies put on a very fun show. It was by far the best thing we did in NOLA. Thadeous the Super Host greeted us and got us set up and Tamara the Wonder Server took excellent care of us (she couldn’t have been nicer or more attentive) and we highly recommend the whole experience. They are relatively new and building a following, but it won’t be long before Mama Honey’s fearless crew is hosting what will be considered the must do brunch event in NOLA. We suggest you book it, you’ll have a blast.

    Our server was friendly, but overall the service was slow. We received our appetizer before our drinks and had to ask for basics like silverware and small plates for the appetizer. Food and drinks were mediocre.

    They charged an extra fee for the brunch, but never applied the opentable points to my account. They were pending and have now disappeared.

I'm sure if you contacted them they would fix it. The 10.00 cover is for the drag queens. It is posted on all drag brunch reservations and required to make the reservation.     Food was good. Menu limited, but that’s okay, helps them execute and master the entrees they do serve and I’m good with that. Service was a little slow, they couldn’t find a pen to sign check, but we understand staffing is an issue everywhere. We will definitely return.

    We came here two nights in a row! It was so convenient to where we were staying and the food, service, staff were amazing!! I LOVED the brick walls and all the windows for people watching, lol. Will definitely be back next trip, or most likely once more this trip!

    This is a charming setting for romance & entertainment. In fact, we witnessed an engagement proposal at the table next to us. The service is attentive. We enjoyed the Italian-Cajun cuisine although a limited menu. The food was very good & timely served. The wine by glass list is varied. We visited on Burlesque Night and had a great time. Best of all, the owner is highly engaging, enthusiastic about her cuisine and setting. This is a good place.

    This was probably the 4th time in a month we have gone here. We Went to 2 of the Drag brunches, which were FANTASTIC!! Again for Valentines Day with my daughter, then again tonight. Food is amazing!!! Staff is super courteous and accommodating. Atmosphere is GREAT!! Totally recommend Barrilleaux’s!!!!

    This is my 3rd time here since it opened in the fall and I love it more each time. The food is fabulous and I have loved everything so far. Also don’t be afraid to try suggestions. I’m a Pinot Grigio girl but I was convinced to try a particular Chardonnay (which i normally don’t like) and I LOVED IT! I lost count how many glasses I had! Go check this place out!
