   Everyone in my party thought their entree was excellent. I had the Creme Brulee for dessert and it was excellent. We didn't order appetizers, but I wish they had brought some bread. I had the special, parmesan-encrusted rainbow trout with asparagus, which was very delicious, but I do wish it had been served with rice, potatoes, or bread.

   Went for Sunday Brunch and picked the place off a list of possible spots, happy with the choice, parking can be an issue due to popular strip mall destination, food was well made and presented, service was excellent, price was reasonable

   How many times dining at Barrett's in a week is too many? Well, we came for the 3rd time this week. Got my usual kale & cauliflower salmon salad. Requested Scott again as our server - he knew exactly what we were ordering. Why do we request him? Because it's like dining at a restaurant with your server providing a free comedy show!

   Great food and service! The space is bright, fresh, and modern. Food was delicious and great value for the prices. We had drinks at the bar after, and the bartender was personable and attentive. We will be back!

    This was our first visit to Barrett's on the Pike. We were joined by another couple and their 4 year old son. Everything was great from start to finish! The restaurant and staff offer a really good vibe and the food and drinks were fantastic! We will definitely return! :)

    Barrett’s on the Pike in Bel Air, Maryland has superb staff, service, great food and cocktails! Kudos to the managers, hostesses, servers, chefs . . . thank you for consistently providing superb service!

    This was our first time going to Barrett's for dinner service. While the food was good and the staff was friendly, overall we did not feel the price was worth what we received. The appetizers were very expensive and small portions. For four of us, we could not find an appetizer that we felt was sharable for four people. We considered getting the crab dip, which was $16. But when we saw it go to another table, you only get 8 small pieces of bread and a small ramekin of dip. The shrimp appetizer was also $15, but you only get 6 shrimp. So we decided to skip it. The entrees range from $20-34 with most being $24+. We noticed most entrees only come with one side, the seasonal vegetable (which was green beans). For the price of the entrees, I feel like a protein, vegetable, and starch is fairly standard. We ordered the short ribs, salmon, and pork chop. All were very good, but we waited over 45 minutes for our food to come. The waitress did not update us or let us know it would be such a long wait. If she had, we would likely have ordered an appetizer as we were quite hungry. They do not give bread for the table or anything of that nature, nor did they offer us anything, despite the long wait. Nor was the wait addressed when our food finally came. The entrees were very delicious, and luckily we ordered two extra sides, so it ended being plenty of food. But we felt for the price of the food and what you get, there are better options in Bel Air.

    Came back twice in a week! We've become regulars. Scottie was our server again (my daughter & I requested him). She had a burger with fries and loved it. I had my usual, Kale & Cauliflower Grilled Salmon Salad - - my absolute favorite. We dined at lunch time on a Tuesday and it wasn't busy at all. I overheard the table next to us talk to Randall, the manager, about how exceptional Scottie was. Keep hiring servers like Scottie and you'll double your business! See you again soon Barrett's!

    We absolutely love Barrett's. We dine a few times a month and enjoy coming here before or after a movie, or Sunday brunch. We almost forgot to make a reservation on Open Table like we usually do, but we made a reservation at 11:45am which was the soonest they had (even though it was 11:15am). They were pretty packed, but the hostess was so accommodating and seated us at a two-top right away. We came yesterday for brunch. My bf had the steak benedict and I had the kale & cauliflower grilled salmon salad. This salad was THE BEST. It was SOOOO good. Please don't ever take it off the menu!!! The manager was coming around checking on tables, and was even helping to bus tables. Always nice to see. The best part was having Scottie as our server. He was AWESOME. Such a hysterical, friendly and personable individual. He was like that with all of his tables. From now on, we will be requesting him as our server. He was great!

    This was my first time at Barrett's on the Pike and I was very impressed. Even though the restaurant was completely full, the noise level was surprisingly low, almost non-existent. The food was delicious and our server, Emma, was awesome. She was friendly, helpful and very attentive. A great experience!!

    Very nice first dining experience at Barrett’s on the Pike with my mom, dad and my oldest daughter. Our server was Charles who was nothing less than a ray of sunshine. Charles was very attentive, cordial and quite personable. We all enjoyed our dishes fully and I must say…I’m craving the crab chowder as I type this! Excellent chowder!! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting with a very pleasant staff. Will definitely return.

    Mistake to go here for Valentines, rather than make it a nice experience for couples to enjoy, and maybe drum up some repeat business, they seem to have tried to make as much money as possible from the holiday. Tables were jammed into corners and devoid of any decoration. The prices seemed to be set to make you question what you were getting: chicken breast with crab meat for $37 seems like you’re getting something fabulous, right? Nope, cut up chicken breast in sauce with about 8 lumps of crab meat. I’m assuming it was cut up so they could make it in one big tray and just dish out what they needed so it would be faster, not better. What I received for $37 was almost comical. For $170 I want a candle on my table for my Valentines date. Won’t be going back.

    Valentines Day dinner. My meal was ok (scallops with risotto; good but lots of risotto and no veggies) my husband enjoyed his and dessert was shared…a trio so we could sample desserts. It was delicious. Service was exceptional. Ambiance was satisfactory as the music playing was good (Rolling Stones, Elton John, Beatles, Fleetwood Mac) BUT was pretty loud and not romantic or appropriate for a nice romantic Valentines dinner. Was more appropriate for bar music, not dinner music. Could have set mood better!

    Highly recommended venue in the Bel Air region. We've been a handful of times and thoroughly enjoyed each visit. The food is delicious with professional, attentive service throughout the meal. We've also eaten at the bar and that is equally as pleasant.

    We ordered a speciality drink was not good.waitress took back and brought gin and tonic much better. Nice we could substitute fries. Chicken was tasty but dry. Great presentation of chicken caprese without bread.
