I chose to have my 2023 Thanksgiving dinner there with my whole family. That turned out to be a big mistake. We arrived earlier (our reservation was at 7:30) and was told there was no table until 8pm. Since my daughter was hungry before we got in, my husband asked to go to Bar by himself, order some DimSum and bring out for her. The receptionists refused him a few times when they (one lady named Rhea) let other people go in to the bar. We were patient and considerate when they made us wait overtime. But they refused to be considerate for their customers even when the situation was resulted from their own mistake. I’m very disappointed with this Thanksgiving dinner. We will stop going to this restaurant. I don’t recommend it to anyone.

We have frequented this restaurant on numerous occasions, and unfortunately, the consistency in quality has been lacking. Encouraged by our relatively positive experience during our last visit, we chose to celebrate our family Thanksgiving dinner there. Regrettably, this time around, every dish fell short in terms of both taste and presentation, failing to meet our expectations. This disappointing experience has solidified our decision to not revisit this restaurant.

Great food and nice experience. The only thing that could have been better was that we were seated at a large round table, so you could only talk to the people right next to you. It lacked intimacy that way. We were not able to experience the food with one another because we were so far apart. Other than that, the food itself was wonderful, especially the duck.

Our table was not wiped down all the way and the seats in the booth were a little dirty. We had to ask about our blackened cod one time since it didn’t come out for a while. The food was really good but there’s just little stuff that needs to be worked on. It was good. Could be great!

We had a wonderful dinner for a friend moving to a different city. Service was perfect balance of making sure we were happy and not interrupting our conversations. Food was excellent, especially the Peking Duck.

Great restaurant. We had the Peking duck. We always come here and have the duck when we visit Seattle. Exceptional. We also had the pea vine. Very good. We shared the kumquat ribs. We were not as impressed with them. The meat wasn’t very tender. Overcooked/chewy. Can’t win them all. We will be back.

Very irregular , inattentive , inconsistent service . We encountered 5 different servers . Our duck was cold & pre carved while we had especially taken out guests to see table side carving . No one bothered to ask what we needed & just presumed . It was a overall disappointing experience .majority of waitstaff was bad .

Tonight was a special event for my Chinese wife. First it is the beginning of the mid-Autumn festival where this is typically a special time to share with family. The second is a celebration on recent news on her health. She was feeling nostalgic so we wanted to go to this restaurant as we looked to the reviews on the Beijing Duck that is specially prepared and of a quality a natural born Chinese would readily recognize. We had reservations for 730p with notations of the special occasion. The issue ended up being the service. We upon ordering asked the wait time in the duck and the server told us we were second in line and the duck would be out in 10 minutes. We ordered three (one desert after duck) other dishes in addition to the duck and after 30 minutes of eating the other dishes we inquired on the duck. Again told 10 minutes away, so we ordered some steam rice for our other dishes. After 15 minutes wait on the steam rice (one bowl) we asked another server could they expedite the rice as our server had gone missing. We received it right away. After 55 minutes and no receipt of our duck I contacted the server and told him to cancel the duck and desert and prepare our bill. Ten minutes later we noticed the waiter servicing other tables and we talked to the manager on our prior delay issues and request to receive our bill from our original waiter. She did this immediately and while away the desert was brought to us that I informed our waiter I had cancelled with him earlier and to take it back to kitchen. The manager brought the bill and was kind enough to give a discount, but it included the desert. I informed her this was cancelled with the original waiter and she went away to revise the bill. At this time the waiter returned with the desert in a takeaway bag knowing full well we cancelled this with him. We informed him we did not want the desert as we removed it from the bill. He took the bag off the table in a huff and literally and I mean I am not exaggerating

Glass prosecco to celebrate the occasion. :) First off, I'd like to mention it was the fanciest Chinese restaurant menu I've seen :) We had the #pickledgarliccucumbersalad appetizer, which was nice and light and refreshing. We family styled the #wokfriedblackcod (Yummmm my #seafoodfamily was extremely satisfied....so tender and flaky.), #crispyeggplantcakes (fresh sliced eggplant stuffed with minced pork and shrimp...what!?!? Never had eggplant this way #nomnomnom), #goldengarlicpeavine (classic Chinese dish cooked perfectly). And of course, Barons #SignaturePekingDuck...WITH THE TRADITIONAL PANCAKESSS!!!! #foodiefuckingheaven #foodieheaven so damn good. Reminds me of my childhood days when the old man with red cap would cut the duck tableside. Our waiter was funny. He gave me a candle on a plate... and then surprised me with an order of #BlackGoldBuns. #SoDamnGood. They were literally perfect! It was so warm...soft...perfectly runny duck egg yolk inside...not too sweet! We also ordered their "exclusive for Baron's " #MangoSagoCream...the fresh mango, coconut milk, and pomelo were so light and refreshing. My #familyoffoodies hasnt been this satisfied after a meal in a LONG time. :) The food was so damn good, dad walked out full AF, and he didn't even notice we didn’t have rice! We talked about how good the food was the whole drive back home. We will absolutely be back. Baron's Sino Kitchen & Bar is the place to go for Peking Duck. That is their signature specialty and they do not disappoint. If you had Peking Duck in mainland China, this is very close to the real thing. Service is excellent and attentive here; checking on us every 15-30 minutes or so if we need anything. As for the other dishes, they maybe viewed on the expensive side in comparison, but you get a wonderful venue for your meal.

The Alaskan King Crab is a rip off! Super expensive and you get almost nothing! I suspect they used snow crabs instead of king crab but charge you $120 for a dish. Stay away from the pea shoot dish as well, it is so chewy that not even a greasy spoon Chinese restaurant would serve that! Peking duck is good and appetizers are good . Just order those, they are delicious and good value.

Waiter was nice and helpful, but the support guy was snide. He was snide enough that my date said she was put off by it. When I say I don't want a drink, don't sound as if I'm a loser because "I guess you're the driver." Found the food OK, but nothing special, and for the prices, not a good value.

Peking duck special was terrific. Thin crispy skin wrapped in pancakes combined with the sauce and side veggies were delicious! Service was a bit spotty but it seemed like they may have been short staffed. When they did come, it was friendly and quick.

Very slow service and understaffed. Food was either overly salty or bland. Cocktails were not good. The only experience we had was very disappointing. Our server dropped a glass on my partners arm and he ended up with a small cut. She never came back to check on us after that. Overall, the money would have be better spent at another eatery.
