Lovely experience. Food beautifully prepared and was delicious. Not a lot of choice but quality was evident.

We had to feed me option for Mother’s Day, and the food was exceptional very generous and very tasty, Kyle did an amazing job serving us, we will be back again. Thanks, George.

The service was fairly average and didn’t stand out. The menu offered limited Greek options and lacked variety, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the food quality was just okay and didn’t justify the high prices. We decided to try it mainly because of its association with George Calombaris but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations.

The serving sizes were tiny. We sent the spanakopita back because it was cold in the middle and second time round it was lukewarm. The watermelon and feta salad was a joke. 3 pieces of watermelon on a plate with crumbled feta on top. We booked a table for our wedding anniversary and it was only half full when we arrived. We were shown to the worst table in the restaurant and when we complained, were given a much nicer table. It’s a great looking place but don’t think we’ll be back.

Auto Greek, the Calombaris pop-up was terrific. Sublime food. Jamie who looked after us was great, and Jackie (?) could not have been more helpful. I plan to return for dinner this weekend with friends - it was that good. LS

Was a very disappointing night. Booked our wedding anniversary and was given a table next to a large booking when heaps of other tables available. Requested to move but they said all were reserved? Drinks took 40mins, 3 items on menu they said sold out?? Don’t believe so for a Tuesday night 6pm booking and one of those items was the souvlaki meat, the reason we were going. Service was appalling, had to chase down our waiter. Terrible night indeed.

Absolutely amazing food and experience at Auto Greek! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hands down the best lamb chops I’ve ever had—tender, perfectly wood-fired, and bursting with flavour . I’d go back in a heartbeat just for another plate! Maybe 2 plates ! George (yes, the George Calombaris from MasterChef!) was everywhere in the restaurant, so attentive and genuine. He came over to chat during our meal, which made the whole evening feel personal and special. We loved every moment—the vibe, the generous Greek dishes, everything . If you’re in Melbourne, don’t miss this spot while it’s popping up. Highly recommend—pure joy on a plate!

Amazing food, great service and the resurgence of George in the heart of south Yarra. The lamb was absolutely incredible. It’s definitely a must go to before the pop up ends.
