   Bar Italia has a great atmosphere and amazing service but for the price the food was NOT good. Coming from someone who loves spicy food and has a high tolerance for it, their spicy vodka pasta was almost inedible due to the spice. They don’t serve side salads and the normal ones run for $10> although they were yummy (for sharing). Overall wouldn’t recommend unless you’re just going for a drink and maybe an app. The ricotta bread is hyped up way too much.

   We really enjoyed our early dinner at this restaurant. We had been here once before and wanted to come back and try something different. The Country Bread with Ricotta was an excellent starter. My wife really enjoyed the Snapper Piccata. I had the Chicken Parmesan and it was very tasty.

   Based on positive reviews, we went here. Service was not great which resulted in a 3 hour dinner. The fried seafood, burrata and country bread apps were ok. Snapper piccata was star of the night. All other pasta entrees ordered were just ok, except the chicken primavera was not seasoned at all (nicely replaced with lasagna by restaurant).

   It was just okay. The meatballs were good but the spaghetti was not (overcooked). The drinks were mediocre - we tried at least 3 specialties. Felt they were low on the alcohol level, too. The service was a bit slow. The cheesecake and key lime pie were outstanding! The atmosphere and bar are pretty but the noise level does get high into the evening. I'm not in a hurry to go back, but it is a nice place to sit outside or at the bar (it's an indoor/outdoor type of bar). I would try some different items if I did go back.

   Excellent new Italian place in Winter Park. Excellent food and service. It was very busy but service was very prompt and efficient. Food very well presented and high quality. Lasagna the best, caesar salad very good, the cheese cake superb. It has become very popular and busy so make your reservation well in advance. Hopefully they maintain their high standards of food and service. A much needed new Italian place in Winter Park. Looking forward to go back soon.

    On our first visit, we were delighted with our experience. The staff and  server were friendly and competent. The food was delicious. We only had appetizers, margarita pizza, Caesar salad, meatballs, and asparagus, all of which were delightful. They have a lovely outdoor seating/bar area and we will definitely return.

    Disappointed that happy hour is not throughout the whole restaurant and you have to be sitting in the bar area. The same drinks are half price during happy hour if you sit in a different part of the restaurant—it’s a little ridiculous. When I called, I was told I could have happy hour at my table so this was not a great way to start off my visit. Food was excellent and our waiter was very good.

    Marcus was our waiter and he was fantastic. The dining room and bar adjoin and was pretty loud. If there are people in the party who have a hard time hearing, it might not be the right place for you.

    Food was delicious! Pleasantly surprised. Our server was sweet and our drinks and food came out super fast! The kitchen was on point and we did not feel rushed to leave after we ate. Had a great girls night and the ambience was great :)

    Horrible experience. Server never refilled drinks, disappeared, and was rude. My daughter has food allergies and ordered the Vegan mushroom zoodle dish. Server gave her pasta with beef and real noodles. When my daughter said it was the wrong dish and she could not eat that, the server actually argued with her insisting it was zoodles with mushrooms, not pasta with beef. After arguing and looking closer, she acquiesced and took it away. Had to wait a long time for the correct dish. The pizzas were over-cooked…inedible. I told the server that my pizza was over cooked last week, and to please tell the chef not to overcook it. No such luck. When my husband complained that he could only eat the center of the pizza bc he would crack a tooth on the outside portion, she said, “The Chef says that is the correct way to make them in Spain.” SPAIN!?! It’s an Italian restaurant. These pizzas are nothing like pizza in Italy. We watched the table next to us send back their pizza. And the Caesar salad was soaking wet in dressing. Complete waste of money and a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant looks stylish. Too bad the food and service were a disaster. This is my second and last trip to Bar Italia. Need a refund.

    First time here. They were very accommodating with our baby and her stroller gear. Lynn was our server and she was super friendly. Food was also delicious. Will definitely come back again!

    Burrata Tomato Salad…..ehh Margharita Pizza was like an 8x10 sheet of paper with sauce and NO cheese Zucchini Fritti was ok but over salty taste The location and server were great. Margarita was definitely missing an ingredient. The Vodka and Cranberry was all Cran and no Grey Goose. Not worth the Money. Unless you want to sit curbside in the Village. I know they’re new so I’m sure there are issues, but come on.

    I will say the ambiance was excellent and a vibe incomparable to others, but the food was so mediocre I cannot even explain it. It was so awful that my family and I commented that we would have rather gone to Olive Garden. It was not worth the expense that we went through.
