While the service was strong and, perhaps, worth more than 20%, not allowing us the choice; rather, applying a mandatory gratuity on each bill is simply unacceptable. Unless this is lifted, out of principal, we will not be coming back.

Everything about Bar Isabel was incredible. Food was top tier, service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was terrific. We were craving patatas bravas and they served us up a plate that made us feel like we were back in Barcelona. Can't wait to go back!

Service at bar Isabel continues to decline on every visit. The server/ manager was not friendly or accommodating at all. Felt somewhat discriminated as I noticed the minorities were seated at the back. When asked if I could even just moved to the table beside me as it was in the corner and I just sat down, haven’t even ordered yet and was told it was unavailable. Yet they were able accommodate the table to my left with the same request. This restaurant was on my top 3 but last 2 visits were disappointing. I’m good on this restaurant for the rest of the year lol.

I was really excited to try Bar Isabel as it had been recommended to me a few times by different people. Sadly, it was a very disappointing experience. None of the menu items we ordered were good. They ranged from being heavy and greasy to burnt. I’m really not sure why this restaurant was ever recommended. It didn’t come close to living up to the hype. The only reason it got a 2 star rating is because the service was good.

Loved this place. Food and service was amazing. We have been to Spain and were not disappointed. We had the patatas bravas, shrimp, tomato bread, sobrasada and fois gras and the octopus which is probably the best we’ve ever had. The dishes are pricey but portions were generous enough for 2 of us to share. We were stuffed but found room for the basque cake for dessert which was delicious. The servers and sommelier were so helpful with their drink, wine and food recommendations.

Was here for dinner. Spent $200. Fifty minutes after entering the restaurant with a reservation we were deciding whether to have sherry or espresso with dessert. We were told that we had to hurry up so they could turn the table by the waiter.
