Yeah, how was it? The movie premiere? And had a dinner reservation 830. It was 10 o'clock by the time they were wrapping up questions. I just didn't have time to go out to dinner that late. I had to get back home

On October 25, 2026, The service was bad by the guy assigned to our table. My husband and I had a 5:15pm reservation and arrived at 5:10pm and were immediately seated. At 5:20 the waiter took our order for iced tea and one white-blend Italian white wine and ricotta appetizer. At 5:40pm we still did not receive our drinks. The appetizer came out at 5:45pm. My husband and I let two different waitresses know we hadn’t received our beverages by this time it was 5:50pm. The table next to us and across from us received their beverages and appetizers way before we did and they were seated 10 minutes after we were seated. I talked to the manager and told him we we not pleased with the lack of service and he was understanding and said the restaurant would cover our costs. I offered to pay for the ricotta appetizer and he said we did not need to.

We added in our reservation that it was our anniversary and they gave us a complimentary scoop of ice cream. The bread basket and garlic butter are so worth it. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

Overall it was a tremendous experience- food very good, wine list sufficiently comprehensive, staff excellent. A bit disappointed in after-dinner liqueur options. Cost was more expensive than I would have expected but I would probably go again.

Balla Italian Soul at SAHARA Las Vegas was excellent. The Sahara remains a Las Vegas classic. It’s a credit to the Sahara that it continues to deliver an excellent experience in an era increasingly cluttered by intrusive third-party apps and the misguided corporate obsession with social-media influencers—people whose ability to attract attention on an iPhone is too often mistaken for genuine knowledge, credibility, or influence. Balla Italian Soul was terrific, and the Sahara continues to get it right. OpenTable, on the other hand, is precisely the sort of digital nuisance that detracts from an otherwise excellent experience. Its unsolicited follow-up marketing and self-promotional app recommendations are unwelcome. Being routed through a platform for a reservation does not constitute an endorsement of that platform. My recommendation of the Sahara and Balla Italian Soul is unequivocal. My recommendation of OpenTable is not.
