We had the special of ravioli with shrimp and vodka sauce. It was excellent, as was the bread and the avocado salad. Service was outstanding, with an attentive but not overbearing waitstaff. The restaurant was staffed well, and was full, so they are obviously doing something quite well. Definitely a place to return to.

I've been at least 5-6 times. It is beautiful and they have great staff. I have favorite dishes, and they are great too. Pizzas and pastas especially! But lots of things sound better on the menu (and they have LOTs of great ideas on the page) than they are executed. Almost always the problem is clumsiness: Triple the amount of sauce you need. Things chopped too thick. Appetizers bigger than the average entree. Too much-ness. If they just paid more attention detail, they'd be great.

Very good. Perhaps the best Italian experience in the city for an upscale experience in Richmond. It’s quaint, charming, service is personalized. Chris, our waiter was terrific. The sea scallops appetizer is a must for us in each visit. It makes you feel like you are not in Richmond, which is a good thing when you go out for dinner sometimes.

We were seated immediately but it took 15 minutes to get water and another 15 to get our glasses of wine. The scallops were the texture of rubber. It is a shame as the space is charming but the kitchen is not making quality food.

Busy night in a usually noisy restaurant so extra noisy this particular evening. Seems they changed my spouses favorite veal dish - good but very different from several past times. Server said it was always prepared the same way but it was so very different. Would love to ask the chef about it.

Dinner was a disappointment this time: my two companions both found their entrees too tough to really enjoy ( mine was fine @ and tasty) and the level of noise became steadily unbearable and definitely created a difficult atmosphere in which to enjoy our meal. Your restaurant is lovely, but last night it was not an enjoyable place to eat and meet with friends.

Great service and the food is reliably delicious. Love their starters, especially the salad selection and the warm bread they served to start. We had a group of 5 dining and most of our group was in the mood for pasta and they have many good options. The Capellini pasta with either Chicken or Shrimp in a light olive oil and herb sauce is my favorite. The hint of Basil really makes it sing.

I wanted this to be good, but unfortunately it was not. What they did to an otherwise perfectly good piece of veal is unforgivable. The waitstaff was excellent. In fact, the level of service is the only redeeming factor; otherwise I would have given it one star. There is so much potential from this cute little restaurant that is going unfulfilled. What I received was a disappointing meal at a premium price.

Used to love this restaurant so much but not any more. Tried twice in last year and both times a disappointment fortunately. Three different dishes and all tastes the same. Mediocre at best. Staff hangout talking to each other about inappropriate topics close to tables nearest kitchen. Music overly loud and not dinner or conversation music. All and all would no longer recommend and won’t return.

The ambiance is perfect for date night. I got the seafood linguini and it was INCREDIBLE. A little pricey but totally worth it. We got the Zucchini Frittes as an appetizer and it was delicious. Drinks were also all amazing (especially the orange one I forget what it’s called). They originally sat us at a table and I asked for the booth and the hostess was happy to make the change for us. Would definitely go back again.
