   The food was amazing. The service was great. The staff was very attentive and worked well together to cover all the guests. The ambiance was stellar!!! I was there for brunch but I plan to return for dinner. The reason I came was to attend the Saturday dj brunch which was incredible. I LOVE HOUSE MUSIC.

   A friend and I stopped by this spot at the last minute on a Saturday night. Although the restaurant was busy, they accommodated us. Ali, the manager, ensured that my first time there was a memorable one and went out of his way to treat us like family. I had the lamb and it (along with the side dishes that accompanied it) was superb. I loved the fried green tomato/Crab appetizer as well. I was told that this place was ideal for drinks only, but I can attest that their food was a part of the experience as well. Dave, the owner, also greeted us and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. Customer service at its finest and I will make sure I return for their Wednesday comedy night as well.

    A lot of our food we had to send back because it was uncooked or not tasteful . One of my friends never even got there meal . It took about 30 mins just for us to get our drinks like water & sprite . The lemonade was disgusting it was just a overall 3 I would never go back tho

    Unfortunately there was an obnoxiously large party that probably should have been advised to rent out the entire restaurant rather than monopolize the entire staff and seating. There wasn’t enough staff members to cater to the large party and regular customers so service was extremely lacking. Management spent most time trying to create order with that group that we were neglected. When we eventually got our food, hours later, it was good as usual. Unfortunately the experience wasn’t that great. It was just a real chaotic day. Large parties on popular days such as brunch should be required to make accommodation that will not affect the experience from the other patrons.

    We got the mushroom vegetable feta omelet, a side of bacon and the fried chicken sandwich. The omelet came with a small rectangle of hash browns. All were excellent, including the sangria. My dining partner found the strawberry crush to be too sour, so the server quickly brought her some simple syrup. A very good experience overall!

    Excellent service. The waiter was great.He and the manager were super attentive. Checked on us several times, shared some laughs and even recommended the roasted chicken,which was delish! Great couples night out. Will be back soon.

    My friend & I had dinner! So glad we made a reservation because it was busy. The bar was packed! She ordered me a Strawberry & Hennessy type of drink it was probably one of the best i’ve had. The vibe was good for a Friday. The Bartenders were attentive. Our food was delicious! It is not much else to say about this place— The Avenue never fails to give you the vibe you’re looking for on any day.

    Service was awesome Food was good But the wait to receive the food was too long. 30-40 mins to get food. The manager was very helpful. She took the second order off because it took 40 mins to come. Other than that, great place.

    We waited HOURS for our food. One of our friends dishes, although he ordered 5 mins later than the rest of us, didn’t get his dish until 1 hr and 38 mins after ours came out. It wasn’t until the waitress came to ask us if we needed boxes that she had indeed messed up somewhere. She proceeded to tell us that the order was taken by another waiter and we had to wait until another plate becomes available. By this time my friend asked how could we remedy the situation because it was well over the time and we were not going to wait another hour. We asked to speak with the manager to get our friends food comped and was dismissed of the idea.

    The food is good. The hostess wasn’t at the door for a while. It’s a small space and the high top seats are a bit uncomfortable. But honey, the food and drinks are a GO.

    I made a brunch reservation for my birthday which was very easy to do. I had a party of 3, and when we we arrived they accomodated our seating request after giving several options. I really appreciated that! There was a nice crowd dining, but our server came immediately and was very attentive the entire time. Music was great, not too loud and we ordered ALOT. Everything was delicious, including our everflowing cocktails. We stayed for 5 hours! I definitely will be back to try the dinner menu.

    The service was really slow and when I finally got to order my food they were out of lamb chops and the server said they were out since 6:00pm it was 9:00 at night when I was there. I feel like when you are out of something the server team should lead with that. The food was not that great either and just a heads up you can not change your sides with your entree. Whatever sides come with the order you’re stuck with it.

    Came in during restaurant week so it was busy. Server was friendly but a little awkward. Spoke over us several times to the next table, this might have been due to the tight space. Timing was off for the courses. Appetizer took a while to come but drinks were quick. We were barely done the apps when the entree showed up. Then dessert took forever to come. Lamb entree was just okay. I did enjoy the oysters app and creme Brule. The drink was great! Not sure if I'll come back or not, wasn't super memorable but wasn't bad either.

    Would never come here again. Reservations were at 11. Order taken by 11:05. Food didn't arrive at table until 11:54. We were informed that 2 menu items were unavailable. Fish tacos had salmon instead of mahi mahi. There were only people at 3 tables. Mine was a party of 2. Why did it take almost an hour to get our food? My friend was told her chicken & waffles were too crispy so they tossed it & cooked more. My shrimp and grits arrived room temperature. Our table was so lopsided our water almost spilled on us. We had to ask the waiter to put something under the leg to stop it from rocking. To apologize for the food delay my date was promised another mimosa on the house, but the waiter never delivered. The first one ordered had to go back because the stem of the glass was dirty from fingerprints and dried up food. I'll never come here again & if anyone else chooses to do so, Enter at your own risk. I hope your visit was better than mine. The only positive thing is when I entered the restaurant I smelled bleach, which I thought meant everything was clean. The plastic disposable soap bottle in the bathroom looked like its been refilled hundreds of times with soap.

    My only complaint is that the coffee was not hot and they couldn't make it hot (I know- strange). Otherwise, the food was tasty, the server was kind, and I loved the aesthetic.

    I love it here! The staff is always friendly, the food is good, the drinks are even better, and the music is always on point. Service can be slow at times, but that’s expected during certain hours. I come through on avg once a month, so that should tell you I’ve had great experiences there.
