The menu is inspired by humble seasonal ingredients, that are pure, clean, natural, and energy-containing. The cuisine uses fresh produce and dairy products from local farms. The restaurant is driven by the culinary maestro, Chef Rahul Rana, who has a rich background in curating vegetarian and patisserie concepts in culinary arts. The menu at AVATARA will showcase a modern avatar of the techniques, philosophy, and story of soulful Indian food. Indian cuisine was originally predominantly vegetarian. However, the perceptions around vegetarian food have been that of limitations. The idea is to break through these perceptions and curate a unique vegetarian fine dining experience.

This is a consumption of Mind Blowing Art with Dazzling array of tastes. I cannot put words to this culinary experience . Many Shades of Positive Experiences taken back, We were in the Premises for over 3hours and it was worth every second of our time

We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday. The idea was to have a lovely family time and Avatara lived up to the expectation. 150 minutes of family time with delicious food coming in. Every dish was a masterpiece with a connection to the Indian Culture which is very well explained by the Avatara family. Chef Kamlesh and Omkar made sure we had the best experience with an awesome cake which we loved. This place is highly recommended by us. You will definitely have a wonderful experience.

Wir waren wegen der guten Bewertungen im Avatara und wurden in keinster Weise enttäuscht . Der Raum strahlt eine wunderbare Ruhe aus, ungewöhnlich für Dubai. Der Service ist freundlich, aufmerksam und umsichtig. Die Köche arbeiten in einer offenen Küche. Es war schön zu sehen, wie harmonisch die Abläufe waren . Das Essen ist unbeschreiblich, jeder Gang eine Überraschung und eine Explosion von Aromen. Auch als nicht-Vegetarier vermisst man nichts. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Our first Michelin star experience. The menu was extraordinarily well thought through, balance of textures, smells and flavors. Each dish was served with extreme attention to detail and presentation was exquisite, individually described and different ustensiles used as cutlery. Staff and chef are extremely efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I can’t believe there are no waiting list for this restaurant, it is unequivocally the best vegan/ veggie dining we’ve had… ever! We will be back with friends and family as it is also reasonably priced for such a delightful evening.

The restaurant first of all has great presentation for all the dishes from a bowl that releases vapor to a flower that blooms in your tea. Beautiful. Also the waiters take the time to explain every dish and the story behind it. They are attentive and not overly attentive. The food was amazing especially for the price point of fine dining. I would have liked at least one cream or cheese or yogurt based dish but I do not know if that qualifies under their vegetarian criteria. Still for vegetarian dishes everything has a suprising taste, unlike anything else. You won't be able to compare the tastes to anything. It's very unique. For overall enjoyment its very high. Definitely recommended. Even the head chef came out and discusses the experience. Top notch service and nice focus on ayurveda and healing. Very cool!

I along with 2 friends (who are basically non-vegetarians but foodies) ventured to Avatara and it turned out among the best adventure we had with food in exploring the myriad hidden small things out in the open... the experience cannot be described because each burst of flavours in each course has its own take in terms of leaving the stomach and brain into guessing the indescribable thing happening with us, the mind hovers mindlessly trying to relate to something from previous experiences but it fails to match the happy feelings one gets after each dish. It cannot be described because it has to be experienced in person. No doubt the Michelin star is for no small reason. Its like sitting on a 2 and half hours flight and the staff is involved in your journey. No part of the flight do you feel left alone because you feel like you have attention of the staff and are taking care of your journey... Enjoy an amazing veg/vegan adventure with a beautiful feeling at the end of it. The chefs have made a huge difference with their dishes and presentation. A small drop of certain cream is aesthetically placed as it has its place for its own appeal. I will go again to this place. The price is paid for the experience and not everyone justifies their artwork like Avatara does. Enjoy a beautiful stomach, brain and mind adventure @ Avatara... 5 stars for no reason.

This was one of the most excellent vegetarian meals we have ever had. The restaurant even catered for a fully jain meal. Every dish was well thought out, presented beatifully, used varied ingredients, and tasted superb. Will definitely visit again, and would highly recommend.

Food was outstanding - truly exceptional. Imaginative and delicate. Some bold decisions like not using garlic or onion forced a rethink of many creations. The service was excellent with the staff committed to our enjoyment and education The restaurant space was only a few days old. We found it a bit ‘sterile’ and cold. Too many hard surfaces We will be back for sure and have recommended to all our friends

One of the best restaurants in Dubai, and it happens to be vegetarian! If you request beforehand, they can make the dishes vegan for you too. The presentation was excellent and the taste was even better. Every dish was amazing. This was a 16 course menu based on food from all over India, but primarily featuring dishes from Uttarakhand such as burans-ras, til ki chutney, bal mithai, gahad ki dal, jakhiya aloo. The team is really nice and full of passion, which you can clearly see in all the food they make. They are relocating to Dubai Hills soon, and I wish them all the success in the new location!

If you want to go to an Indian vegetarian restaurant with outstanding food and a highly artistic and creative food presentation, you definitely need to go to Avatara. Chef Omkar and the rest of Avatara team take pains to make this an enjoyable, unique and a satisfying experience. As first time tourists to Dubai we weren't sure what to expect but the restaurant staff made sure it was a 2 1/2 hr culinary delight. Hope to visit them again the next time at their new location.
