Unpleasant experience to say the least. We were a group with 3 tables. Several of us got the prix fix menu and the staging was unacceptable and awkward. They would serve one person, then 20 minutes until the next person. The wine pours that were to accompany were not poured along with the course. After expressing our concern, the manager then brought two complimentary appetizers to our table. We then waited another 20+ minutes for the next course for half the table while others watched the rest of the table eat. I would skip this restaurant until they can figure out the flow of the kitchen and how to appropriately serve their customers.

Great happy hour value with high quality food and cocktails. The curry cauliflower was amazing. There was a delicious arugula and burrata salad special. The service was great. Definitely one of my best dining experiences in Breckenridge!

Still as good as ever. We have enjoyed going to Aurum since it first opened, and it has retained its quality in both food and service. Prices have gone up somewhat, but in line with other restaurants of similar caliber. We were glad to visit in the off-season as it is always hard to get a reservation.

We love Aurum. It’s our go to place in Breck. Their happy hour is amazing. Regular menu is pricey but worth it for the gourmet flavors. Always have a good experience here.

Aurum is our favorite restaurant in Breckenridge - we never miss a time to stop in. This stop was for my husbands birthday and they made it feel so special! The pasta special with duck was incredible and the burger should never be missed!

The server had great knowledge and was very attentive. The bartender made wonderful cocktails. We were approached by the manager on duty who was very kind. The food had a fabulous presentation and tasted incredible. Will be back soon.

We went for happy hour and really enjoyed the cauliflower and burger. The waiter could tell we were on the fence about an order of fries and burger and told us to just get the burger sine it has the same amount of fries. Very kind and helpful staff. Definitely recommend for a date night, friend get-together, family outing, or company meetup, great for all occasions.

Great high end restaurant. We had the trout (excellent!!), and the duck, which was good, but the gnochi/pea side dish was an amazing taste treat and visually stunning. Highly recommended, pricey but I don't mind paying extra for "art".

We have never written a bad review of a restaurant. We have also not had 4 dishes so poorly executed. Didn’t finish any of them. No idea how Google rating is 4.7 with over 500 reviews. Salmon tartare was really lox and very little of it. Butternut squash fritters were solid dough and you had to work hard to find the squash flavor especially with the overpowering tomatoe pure. The baguette was served with a steak knife. They knew how hard it was. It was also stone cold and the cheese stuff inside did nothing to exhannce the dish. Even the salad with it was impossible to finish as the bitterness of the ridiccio overpowered everything else. So we decided to share the French onion burger to be safe and even that was bad. Buns were burnt. It had crazy flavor that overpowered the burger yet there was nothing on the bun or burger to scrape off and try to make it edible. The wine and server were both great but would never go back.

I usually go to Aurum each time I come to Breck but this time they were off. The Parker rolls were semi stale and a bit hard on top. The cauliflower was still amazing and then it went way off. The Caesar salad had no taste and my daughter and I didnt eat it. We both got the trout and what a disappointment. Pretty inedible and tasted fishy meaning the trout needed to be thrown out a couple of days prior. We ate about three bites each. Server never asked if we liked it when he could clearly see food was untouched. It will be some time before I go back for a high priced experience of bad food no matter how spectacular the ambiance.

Over priced for lack of flavorful food. For example the beef tartare barely had beef and had more mushrooms for substance. The duck was served without crispy skin and was barely warm. We ordered 2 apps, 2 entrees and 2 glasses of wine for about $250. Our waitress was amazing and the staff was nice, but quality of food was not worth the price.

We discover this Aurum on our last trip to Breckenridge. I was a little upset because it was great but we were leaving the next day and we were not going to be able to go back again until we return to the area. We are back and this is the first restaurant we visited. Then and now the food is excellent, delicious! Service is amazing. One of our favorite restaurants in Breckenridge. Definitely will recommend to family and friends.
