   We had a party of 8 and we’re well tended to. Food was well prepared, and drink selection was top notch. The evening ended with their delicious version of bananas foster - which tasted like the best part of a s’more (the Smokey marshmallow). Would highly recommend for larger party gatherings

   Best food I have had in Denver! I have lived here for almost 14 months now (moved from Atlanta, Ga in 2021) and this was some of the most amazing and tasty food I have had since living here. On top of the magnificent food, the ambience was amazing and the wait staff was so welcoming (at all points of contact). I highly recommend adding this to your "must visit" list!

   We enjoyed restaurant week at Atelier. They had a wonderful 4 course menu, with many choices. All of the food was well presented and very flavorful. The mushroom cappuccino soup to start was unique, creative and full of flavor. Service felt a bit rushed and the first three courses came out way too quickly, which perhaps was due to restaurant week. Overall a really nice experience.

    The food and wine pairings were spot on. I think everyone enjoyed the entrees the most - my elk was very tender and the demi-glace was perfect. We were by the door which was a little busy but overall the atmosphere was good.

    This busy French restaurant has fair to average food, with dishes sounding exciting, but tasting a bit bland and uninspired. We went for Denver Restaurant week, and we're hoping for the best dishes being showcased. There is a definite Asian flare which is apparent in the ingredients, but not very well executed. Chocolate mousse for dessert was just a bit too bitter, even for dark chocolate. The dollop of ice cream was good quality vanilla with a bold flavor

    Would not recommend. Went during Denver Restaurant week and portions were not their full sized portions. Waiter was dismissive and seemed irritated when we asked questions. I will say the restaurant was beautiful and food we did have was delicious. HOWEVER, the menu stated that they would be a 20% automatic tip. Yet, when we received our bill, there was a 20% service fee charge and an additional space to add a tip. That was very confusing. My husband asked if the service fee was the tip or an additional fee. We were told the service fee was the tip. Seems suspicious as if they are trying to get a 40% tip out of us!

    Five of us went for the Restaurant Week menu. Two of us had the associated flight of wines. Everything was wonderful. The food was delicious and portions were perfect for us to eat four courses and come away full but not uncomfortably stuffed. Note that this is a classic French restaurant, so the food is rich, but since the portions are moderate, it doesn't feel heavy. A perfect place splurge off your diet. The menu choices were interesting and covered a range of possibilities (pasta, fish, poultry, game, etc.). Service was prompt and attentive but never pushy. The staff kindly found a way to accommodate an extra person in our party at the last moment. That said, you definitely need reservations. My only complaint would be that, when the restaurant is full, it becomes pretty noisy. We came for a 4:30 service, at which point it was pretty easy to hear everyone around the table. Later, that became hard. Perhaps adding a little sound-absorbent material would be helpful. Meanwhile, coming early or eating on the patio (we were in the main room) would provide a quieter experience. Overall, a great experience, and great value for money. This was my second time at the restaurant, and I would definitely return.

    So it pains me to write this review, because this is ABSOLUTELY one of my favorite restaurants in Denver. So let me preface this a bit. It was restaurant week, and I’m very aware of the huge burden that imposes on a restaurant. Honestly, atelier maintained its excellent standard of exceptional quality in both good and service. The reason for the lower rating is because of the mandatory 20% service charge and 3.8% additional charge to the entire bill. In addition, there was the standard bottom of the bill showing amount owed and lines left for tip and total. I find that a bit offensive. First, to decide how much I should tip is not a decision for the restaurant to make. Additionally, leaving that additional spot, one ‘feels’ obligated to leave more than that, making the tip upwards of 30+%. Also, if one weren’t inclined to see that service charge already added, they would be adding 20-25% MORE on top of that - as well as tipping in the tip! I certainly hope that was only done during restaurant week. It certainly left a bitter end note to an otherwise wonderful evening.

    I had requested a quiet table and we were seated at the noisiest table in the restaurant. Our waiter was excellent and took great care of us. We asked for the check to be split between the 2 couples and he did so perfectly. However, a somewhat rude lady picked up the check from us and proceeded to bill the entire check to us. When we explained that the check was to be split, she didn’t look at the water’s checks and just split them down the middle. Our friends had more extras than we did and the waiter had accounted for that but she ignored it and acted very put out. When dessert was delivered, my husband had a reasonable portion of the mousse but my plate looked like they ran out. I know it was restaurant week, but it’s no excuse for these things, especially the rudeness of the lady handling the bills. The dinners were good. Soup was excellent. My salmon was a bit dry but everyone else’s dinner was very good. We loved your restaurant the last time we were there and always loved it in Boulder but I’m not sure we’ll return.

    Atelier lived up to the expectations. A great restaurant for a date or a night-out with friends. Anything you order will be delicious, it’s French ! We booked last minute, so we didn’t get a good table. If you can, you should book inside… some of the tables in the patio are “broken” aka wood is falling down (I guess it creates some character!) The food we had was good. The highlight of the night was the Raviolis De Homard & the King Salmon. The salmon was AMAZING, one of the bests! The rest of the food was a little flat… lacking some flavor or/and overdoing some. We also really enjoyed the wine pairing, all the wines were well picked for the dishes and they recommended a great Pinot Noir. Advice: keep up the good work ! Your main dishes are truly one of the bests French-meals in town; however, you have to work on some of your appetizers. Overall a good experience, we visited during restaurant week so maybe our experience was impacted by the “busy week.”

    Dined during Restaurant Week. Tables are super close to each other and there is little room for staff to maneuver, meaning you get bumped a lot when servers try to wiggle by to deliver food to other tables. Also tables so close it is if you are dining with adjacent tables. Know that they reduce portions for DRW but the appetizer (fois gras) came with 2 tiny pieces of toasted bread so more pate than bread to spread it on. The salmon was terrific. The saffron rice tasteless. And dessert was almost laughable for my companion. She ordered the creme brulee and received a lovely large plate with a single scoop (about a large tablespoon or creme). Most staff was pleasant but our waiter refused to answer any questions about the menu (or anything else for that matter) and when I asked for a fork to eat dessert (cake) he pointed to a spoon on the table and walked off. Glad we got to try the place, but sure if i would come back if paying full price.

    Overall, I was disappointed. The food did not taste very French. There were a lot of curry flavors. The bread they served at the table was Italian store-bought bread. It was disappointing because I was expecting a French baguette or some thing French. The service was very poor. I had to remind the waitress to bring me my wine for the wine tasting with every entrée. They seemed too busy to care and turns out they already add a 20% tip to your check so they are not really motivated to give you a good service.

    The food was absolutely delicious. I was bummed that they didn't have any non-alcoholic beer or wine options, but best to not expect that from a restaurant that focuses heavily on wine. But they did go out of their way to create a custom mocktail that was delicious and refreshing. I'll go back in the future for sure.
