We always enjoy our meals at Aracosia. The food is always good or excellent. On this occasion, we were 6 in our group and had originally reserved an outside table. A forecast that day for bad weather led me to call and ask to be switched to an indoor table. I also asked for a quiet, out-of-the-way table that would be suitable for one of our group who has a physical impairment. Both requests were honored and we had a lovely evening as a result. The waiter was great, very patient. Everyone enjoyed their choices of dishes. Although the restaurant was almost full, we had no difficulty hearing one another. Much appreciated.

What a great restaurant. The appetizer was phenomenal, the delicious entrees were large and a good value, and the service was quite good. It was busy on a Wednesday night but the restaurant is still pretty quiet, and there’s a nice outdoor area.

Outstanding lunch performance, with delicious and interesting food choices, cheerful and attentive service, and reasonable prices for the quality and pleasure of the experience. Dumpling and baklava samplers were perfect bookends for very intriguingly spiced stews. Only thing that might have made it better would have been to have few more people with us so we could have sampled and enjoyed an even broader variety of dishes.

Wow. Just wow. Shared the vegan platter and saffron chicken. We are foodies and avid home cooks and pick apart a dishes when something is ever so slightly off, say a touch too much coriander. Everything we had was spot on and delightful. Plus, the generous meal was just over $50 with beverages. We had pleasant outdoor seats and the staff was attentive without hovering. The only bad part is we don’t live closer.

Great selection of dishes, superb service, reasonably priced. Highly recommend this restaurant. We had dinner. The lunch menu was also extensive. Nice atmosphere, as well. Convenient parking indoors.

This is a great restaurant! The food is always delicious and the service very attentive, but not annoying. I especially like their many vegetarian options. When the weather is cool enough, they have a lovely dining area outside that is under cover so you can sit out there even if it's raining. In cold weather, they have heaters.

We love this restaurant and always keep coming back. The service is attentive but not intrusive. The ambiance is lovely and well done. The food is excellent. We have tried a pretty wide variety of dishes and never disappointed. They are always very kind to do one of the appetizer samplers to accommodate our party size which has been lovely. We’ve brought lots of friends, several with very specific dietary preferences or requirements and they are very accommodating because of the wide variety of options on the menu. You won’t be disappointed.

Outstanding restaurant! We live near and have been fans of Afghan Bistro for many years and had an opportunity to visit Aracosia McLean with some out of town friends. Put this place at the top of your list for exquisite Afghan foods, superb service and friendly atmosphere! It is the Afghan Bistro restaurant multiplied by 4 times (larger facility and more food selections) - all fantastic!

Our server was wonderful. We were celebrating the birthday of a friend and our server surprised him with a slice of cake to honor the occasion. The food was excellent and our server was very attentive. Overall, Aracosia is a very classy restaurant.

I have been to this restaurant about 5 times in the past couple of years and it is always excellent. The menu is extensive, service is wonderful and the food divine!

A lovely birthday dinner. I had eaten at Aracosia many times but it was the first time for my niece and grand-niece. They loved it! Even my grand-niece, who is a picky eater, ate all three of the appetizers she had ordered in lieu of an entree, and tried some of our dishes as well. Our reservation had been for outdoor seating but they made room for us in the room that is normally used for private functions and which had only four tables so it was quiet enough for conversation. A surprise at the end: A slice of cake with a candle and "Happy Birthday" written with rainbow sprinkles. Lovely!

This place is a gem. I have dined here a couple of times and have enjoyed each visit. From the moment you are greeted to being seated to dining, the staff is great! This will be on my list to visit again and recommend to friend and family. Try it!

WONDERFUL early dinner! Great, clean restaurant. Greeted right away, server was AHMAZING; he got to know what we liked and provided great recommendations. He even boxed and bagged our leftovers with FREE extra bread and the sauces we liked! Will definitely be back. Thank you so much!
