I absolutely adore Anzie Blue. The staff are all some of the sweetest people and the food is always outstanding. I was here the other night with my friend, and on a sleepy Thursday, with a reservation, our sweet waitress let us have the dining room to hang out and eat our cheese plate in. The prosecco is delicious and a steal. This is one my favorite places in the city and a wonderful place for a date or to catch up with a bestie. I adore Anzie Blue.
I was absolutely blown away by this restaurant. It was such a cute vibe and the food and coffee were super good. I would recommend the chicken and waffles for sure!!
Great food and drinks. Coffee was probably the best I have had. Took the host around 10 min to even acknowledge us. Walked in and a huge party was in front of us and no host at the desk. Tables are really close together so not much social distancing going on. Live band was cool but at times we were yelling at each other to carry on a convo. Overall it was a really good place and I would go back.
Love the ambiance and vibes of this spot! I wanted a relaxing place to get work done and get a nice bite to eat and I got just that. I ordered the Pecan Encrusted Brie and it hit the spot. Servers were nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend.
I’m assuming they have a live band some evenings, which is pretty cool. I left as they were setting up though.
Food is great..Creative concepts and cool atmosphere. Our new fave.
Very good food and service. The place is a bit tight though. Thanks!
Went for an evening coffee and the new fall coffee flight was amazing
Good for coffee, not for a brunch with friends. The tables were soo small that we didn’t have much space to actually eat our food comfortably.
It was a great place to take friends. The food was okay, we had a breakfast sandwich and it wasn’t very flavorful. But overall will go back.
Other than my bagel being stale, the food was great! I like how the tables are already reserved once you've made a reservation, so there's no wait time. The vibe was cool and the coffee is quite enjoyable.
Wasn’t expecting our party of 6 to get a special room with a cute reservation sign. Felt like we got awesome exclusive treatment. Staff was a little behind- assuming it was pretty busy for the few working but the food is good and the place is unique. We’ll definitely be going back for brunch again
We had a wonderful brunch. The staff was very accommodating to our party of 13. The music was nice too. We will definitely go back.
Food was just ok and it took a while to come out.
The live music also wasn’t consistent.
Great time hosting friends from out of town! We loved the avacado toast!
This was my first visit to Anzie Blue. The decor and fee
Food was great! But way too many tables crammed into the space. Also, very uncomfortable (and unattractive) seating. The chairs and tables feel like outdoor furniture.
This restaurant is beautiful inside, but it’s ridiculously overpriced. The breakfast sandwich was a huge let down and was very bland. I won’t be coming back.
Two pieces of unmelted deli cheese in grilled cheese. Giant chucks of tomato in tomato soup. Had to finally ask at the bar for a server after waiting 20 minutes. Not a good meal.
Great brunch experience. Maddie was awesome. Loved the live music. Food was delish. Build your own breakfast is a feast and the bacon and sausage were both delicious. Pancake perfection and biscuit heaven!
Had to wait extremely long times for drinks (20+ minutes). 2 food dishes came out at normal times but 3rd dish took over 30 minutes and 4th dish took nearly an hour. Both were just sandwiches. Given a lot of excuses as to why it took so long. Gave us two complementary drinks that took 20+ minutes again. Music also blared and tables and chairs were all shoved close together. Not sure why they require masks to walk in when you are sitting a foot from people at other tables.
Was really excited to try Anzie Blue for the first time. Arrival and getting seated was a breeze since we had a reservation. That was about the only part that went smoothly during our brunch. There were three of us at our table and we all started with a round of frose. After about 30 minutes of waiting for our drink our server let us know the bar was pretty backed up and that it would be another 15 minutes. Not ideal, but we appreciated the update. 15 minutes go by and then 30 minutes go by and our server informs us there is no more ice hence the delay and that the bartender is trying something different to make them. He did provide us with a free drink token, which was nice, but we still had no drinks and we had been there for close to 75 minutes at that point. Then our food order. We were told they were only serving breakfast that day which was disappointing. We ordered our food and the biscuit was great. My friends bagel was chewy and my pancakes were over done. All in all very disappointing first visit. Will no be going back for a while.
Will NOT be going back here. Music so loud that we couldn’t have a conversation while sitting at a small 2 person small top. Out of our first two appetizer picks by 7pm. Oh, and then the waitress informed us it was her last night working there and laughed about it. Don’t waste your time.
The tables were not conducive to more than 2 people and the space was packed too full of groups. On this occasion the food and drink service was very delayed and then incomplete. Felt rushed and sloppy. The jazz was nice but made it hard to talk to the person right next to you.
Very cute decor and food was good. The service was not good tho. Had a waitress that seemed extremely overwhelmed and unsure. Had to ask multiple times for things. For example: when we got some appetizers to share, we had to ask several times for plates. Also, we ordered cocktails for 6/7 people and 1 person ordered a beer; that came at least 15 minutes after the cocktails (which took quite a while to make) after asking several times for the beer. Also, ordered a cheese board for 4 which was tastefully done did not come with the honey, mustard, jam or goat cheese that it is described to have. We had to wait for a bit to get those delivered to the table. Also, the hot chicken dip which is supposed to come with pita, came with minimal pita chips, the waitress said they ran out, but didn’t offer a substitute and just delivered it to the table as it was, we ended up asking for some of the toasted baguette that came with the cheese board to finish the dip we ordered.
Chef Star is seriously inventive and her creations are outstanding. The deviled egg flight was amazing and the coop board was just what I needed! I will be returning!
Love this new local gem! We went for the jazz brunch, and it was amazing! The food was delish, service was great, and the energy was perfect to start off the day! I had the biscuits and gravy, which tasted just like my grandmother's recipe. The owner stopped by to say hello, which was a great plus!
This was an amazing spot for brunch! There was live music and as a large party, they placed us in a private room. It was so high end at such a reasonable price. We loved the food and the coffee. Totally Insta worthy and just as tasty as it looks! Highly recommend!
They have live music and my table was right next to them which wasn’t bad but made it harder to have conversations. Food was great. Owner was really nice and made sure we were taken care of. Would definitely want to go again for the drag brunch.
Love this place. Food was great as always and the mimosas were delish. But there was a band playing and while they were good, they were very loud indoors and we had a hard time talking at our table. We were really close to them though.
Was honestly disappointed. Made the reservations so we could eat at a reasonable time. We were seated at our table and sat there for 25 minutes before anyone came to even check on us. We then waited an hour for our food. There were very few apologies for the wait. The waitress was sweet though, it just was way too long to be there. Cold brew flight is also cool, but not worth the money.
I waited 15 minutes for drinks. Only to get one drink. It was another 35 minutes before the other arrive. The food came out separately as well. One 15 minutes behind the other. Tables booked in disarray and it was truly not a good experience
Loved the live music. Great latte. Ordered the chicken and waffles for brunch and the chicken was great but the waffle tasted mushy like a frozen waffle, rather than a fresh or recently made waffle. My date loved his omelette though.
Made reservation…when we got there they couldn’t find our table, so split one from another reservation. Sat for 20 minutes and nobody ever came to ask us for a drink, etc. It was extremely loud…nobody ever came to our table so we ended up leaving. Tried to cancel reservation by calling…no body answered the phone and it went to voicemail. This restaurant REALLY needs to get their act together. Extremely disappointing. We won’t be back.
It took 20 min for someone to come to our table after we had to let a server know to come to our table. Waited 40 minutes for our drinks and half of the food orders we placed. Waited another 30 minutes (while our family had their meals and ate) for them to bring us the two other sandwiches we ordered and never received them! We told the waitress to just cancel our order and get our check. We were there for an hour and a half and didn’t even get all the food we ordered because they were “working on it”. We had a party of 4. My husband and I left hungry, our in-laws ate their meals and felt so bad. Extremely unprofessional workers that did not know what was going on. Please hire a better staff INCLUDING better cooks that are on top of orders.
Food was absolutely amazing!
We had a large group of people and it was great. The trays (we ordered 5) were AMAZING and the drinks fantastic. The baked brie was to die for! Cute little place with wonderful food!
Was so good but it was too loud
The food and service were both subpar and not remotely worth the price. My friends soup was cold and so were my eggs. I came to meet a friend for coffee and brunch and we couldn’t hear each other the entire time because of how loud the music was.
Overall, the experience was alright. Once seated, it took forever for someone to come take our drink order, but once we had a server, it was a pleasant experience. The food was good as well and the Frose was delicious!
