   We loved everything but the mark up of wine was too much. A $12 bottle of wine was $65. That was too much!

   I went for the pretzel that comes with the crab dip and was not disappointed. It is SOOO GOID! We had the sea bass and a crab cake for an entree and the stuffed lobster. Both were delicious. Nice date night place.

   Omg yes, I will definitely be back. The food was so good, plus the service was great. I had the crab dip with pretzel bomb and I also had the lobster roll with truffle fries, which was bomb too. I definitely recommend it.

    There was a party celebrating a birthday and they were loud. Would have been nice if the restaurant had a private room for these types of events. The cheesecake was horrible. It didn’t taste like cheesecake and left a terrible residue in my mouth. Food was average and not worth the over $200 bill that already included 18% gratuity. We will not be going back.

    This was a dope spot. My partner loves seafood so she was happy enjoying the crab cake and I with the chicken sandwich. I'd definitely come back.

    My wife and I went on 2/14/2023. The restaurant was extremely busy! That did not deter from the service. Everyone was knowledgeable of the menu and provided great suggestions. We will attend again!

    For the cost, I expect more. Ambiance: The tables are tightly packed in to take up as much space as possible. You are basically dining with the group next to you and sharing their conversations. Food: The oysters were not shucked properly, leaving bits of shell inside, which needed to be picked out. The half and half crab soup was so salty, it was inedible and sent back. When asked to substitute the cream corn with mushrooms for the steak dinner (NY Strip, red potatoes, cream corn), instead I received mushrooms under the steak, swimming in cream corn. The other entree of a salad, Chilean sea bass, was adequate. Bill: Be prepared that they add an 18% gratuity to the check to all size parties. So whether your experience is awful or excellent, they decide your tip. Of course you can always decide to tip more. Without cocktails, and added in tip (18%), prepare to spend about $100/per person. There are cheaper items to choose from, but you can get a burger or chicken wings anywhere. Service: The server was very polite and friendly. They offered a substitute for the soup, but we were not interested and instead of removing it from the bill, comped the bottle water. Outcome: We would not recommend this restaurant, or plan to return.

    The photos on IG makes it look a lot more put together and classier than the inside really is. The outside seating area has a nice view of water. The seafood platter was pretty good and came out fresh and hot. Had to ask for bread though. Our waiter was very friendly and had a good knowledge of the menu and offered decent suggestions.

    We had an amazing experience at Ampersea. The service was amazing, the food was so delicious, and the atmosphere is to die for! I definitely enjoyed my anniversary dinner there and I plan on going back to try the brunch! Totally give it 5 stars and I recommend it.

    The food was lack luster. The bacon brussels sprouts were way too greasy. The chicken barely had any flavor to it and my daughter’s dessert was still raw. For the pricing the food coulda been way better to par. The ambulance was fantastic. However, our waiter could’ve been more welcoming.

    Had a Bookclub meeting. The service was good. The food was great. The specials of the day were delicious. They ran out of a few things, but that’s a reflection of our current state of affairs, everybody’s having supply chain issues, We loved the winter wonderland decor. It was my Bookclub’s second time there and I’m sure we will have future meetings there.

    Small and intimate location. Staff are very attentive and pleasant.. the food was excellent.. The crab dip with the soft pretzel, cheese charcuterie board, oyster Rockefeller and the cut of the night were tasty. I would suggest making a reservation as it is a small location.. wonderful dining experience

    Tasty innovative sandwiches. Beautiful setting and a good cause to boot. I had the cauliflower filled tacos and couldn't believe how good they were. As good as any meat filled taco I have had. I wish I knew how they made to taco shell soft on the outside and crunchy on the inside. My wife had the salmon BLT and loved it.

    Ampersea did not disappoint. Highly impressed with the food and the holiday decor. The manager was a lot of fun and sent me a shot. Loved the atmosphere and would definitely return for dinner or brunch. Locals also recommended this restaurant to us so I know it wasn’t just a fluke.
