    Service was not as good as usual. I’ve been many times before and it’s usually better. We ordered an appetizer that took 30 minutes to arrive. (Short rib empanadas- arrived a bit dry). ordered margarita with no salt twice and both times it came with salt. ambiance us beautiful.

    Food was dreadful, service was rude and seldom. I got a ridiculously overpriced "whole fish" for 2, which I'm guessing was tile fish fileted under a bed of tomato and onion sauce. My son got a $70 industrial cut of beef that was all fat. Both were better than the mixed beef platter, which was totally inedible and featured a skinny churrasco burned to a crisp on the bottom, a slab of t-bone you could barely cut, and disgusting sweet breads. There were no specials, little on the menu. The waiter excitedly steered us to the rice bowl, but the rice was hard and undercooked, mixed with a messy egg and random spices thrown together. The food tasted old, like the last day of a 2-week cruise. I got a Hendricks martini, which was both watered down and gave me a splitting headache (I doubt it was Hendricks Gin). My father-in-law got a gin and tonic that was all tonic. My sister-in-law, whose birthday we were celebrating, had to get up and go in search of water. The waiter rattled off the desserts and acted peeved when we asked to see the dessert menu. The whole table but me got up and left rather than go through the interminable wait for the check. No one wanted to see the view. They infuriatingly added a 20% gratuity. I was determined to lower it after the abysmal food and service, but the waiter quickly ran my card through one of those handheld gadgets before I knew it, and there was no way to adjust the tip, unless I wanted to give him even more of my money (which I did not). The Michaels Genuine brand has fallen off a cliff. Lots of places have a great view in Miami. This restaurant is not even trying.

    The service was horrible. I had to ask the waiter for our drinks, food, and dessert every time. Besides, only about 4-5 tables were busy. The place was practically empty. The food was ok. Nothing major. The only thing I enjoyed was the atmosphere. The place is beautiful. However, not sure how they were able to get so many good reviews. They need to step it up with the service.

    The setting was lovely and our waiter was nice, but the food was mixed. We had a risotto dish that looked and tasted like it came from a box. The mashed potatoes were basically potato soup—tasty enough, but really strange. Desserts were okay at best. The real complaint is the price. How can places in Miami keep charging upwards of $100 person and giving you food that’s not as good as what you’d get at a decent fast-casual place? The pretentiousness is ridiculous.

    The view can’t be beat but the Thanksgiving dinner was meh. Stone crab and oysters are always good. Jose was a delight. Drinks are good. Valet is a litte rude and takes a really long time for 25$

    Great ambience as you dine on the shores of Biscayne Bay. Even though it was a great dining experience, the menu is very limited. Highly recommend the Brussel Sprouts.

    This was a very unfortunate experience that began with a shouting argument with the valet. Not sure why a valet would want to argue prior to parking the car and especially at $25 per pop. Being aggravated at the beginning, It was hard to get out of it, even though it was Thanksgiving. The view was sensational, the French wine great, the salad delicious and dessert exceptional. However, the Thanksgiving turkey meal was boring. The turkey extremely dried out, the string beans really undercooked, maybe not even cooked and the Mac and cheese was good. Just good. I also had the oysters which I would say were tasteless. This was an extremely disappointing experience, and now I know why people don’t like going out on Thanksgiving.

    Yes, the spot is lovely, right by the water, but that's pretty much the only nice thing about Amara. The food is below average and terribly, terribly overpriced. Their staff is desperate to push you to buy more of their bland dishes, making them seriously obnoxious (no, I don't need to be asked 3 times "if I want some champagne"). Also beware with wine by the glass: our waiter never asked for which size we wanted, tricked us and charged for the largest size. We could have just bought a bottle given how much we paid. You can find better in Miami: avoid this restaurant, it's a tourist trap.

    Food/Views outstanding, service can use major work. Ordered some kid entrees and it came with green rice, instead of her mentioning this before it was our fault cause we didn’t know the rice was green. So had to order $12 fries since the kids didn’t want the rice. The busser was in a better mood and better service. Reservation said bday lunch, had remind her about it. Didn’t deserve the $90 tip (included).

    We were really excited to try this for our anniversary but as soon as we sat down service was incredibly disappointing, the waiter disappeared on us for 15 min before taking our order and we had to flag another waitress and they were very inattentive and slow (e.g. we received crab claws but then waited for another 15 min to get the crab opener tool). As for food, prawns and cauliflower were good but catch of the day was tasteless. Too noisy and we didn't want to stay to order desert for our anniversary because of the poor service.

    The setting is beautiful. The food was tasty if a bit overpriced. The menu is quite limited. The service does not warrant the price point. Parking was a pain. We waited over 20 minutes for our car at the valet. Overall, it was a nice experience, but not someplace I would frequent.

    The worst valet at any restaurant I have ever gone too. Wait times of 20 minutes, unorganized, very little English understood, walk half a block to pick up the car when valet finally does bring it! Worth taking ride service than driving there.

    Our experience was exceptional!! Great food , amazing view and excellent service . Our waitress Vragana wow!! She was amazing. Let us enjoy your food , and we were in great company.     Anniversary dinner home run. This isn’t the finest of fine dining (not what I was looking for) but I made a request via email to reservations to be executed on anniversary and reservations (Pauline?) called day of to confirm my preorder and everything was set. She was lovely. They had a few other really nice touches on the table that surprised us and were thoughtful and touching - in short it worked out perfectly - many thanks to the team and I’m very very grateful to them all. Kyle was great on table service. Attentive but not intrusive. Menus printed personalized. They also completed a mini wine pairing I had setup which was just right. Management table touches. Perfect. Thanks to the team top to bottom.

    We have been here many times and always enjoyed. This was the same last night. Two couples. Sat inside Beautiful setting. Great server. Very attentive and informative We had both empanadas , the octopus, red snapper, prawns and arroz verde. All great. We will be back

    A favorite go-to spot for when we want to dine outside and enjoy the benefits of living in Miami near the water. Arrived as the sun was setting, before the spot became crowded, which it often is. From beginning to end, great service, cocktails, meal. Four of us ordered a variety of items to share, satisfying the vegetarian and pescatarians/carnivores in the group.
