   Pros: GREAT SERVICE as Kiara and the hostess were excellent. Smiles and great service. Portions from the appetizers to entree were filling. Pricing about on par for an a la carte steakhouse. Ambiance is nice tucked away from the casino smoke and nosiness. Cons: The complimentary bread is only complimentary for the first basket. Additional baskets of bread are $8 I believe. The management needs to note that a vast majority of a la carte restaurants serve complimentary bread and not just for the first basket. If you want to charge a la carte prices you have to also present the perks of a la carte restaurant. Parking is very confusing. Here is a tip of you desire to not go through the smoke of the casino but directly to the restaurants and Event Rooms.....park on the front side of building off of Victory Blvd. This way you enter the building and turn left to go towards restaurants. Only open Thursday through Sunday for dinner. Hopefully, as more is built on to the project the hours will change. Overall dinner last night was successful!! Again great service makes the dinning experience all the more worthwhile and enjoyable! Thanks to Kiara our server for making my evening out with my parents and grandfather very delightful!

   Unfortunately the restaurant did not have the Scallops I ordered . Also the bar was out of Ciroc. Our reservation was at 515pm right when the restaurant opened for the day. Those items should have been restocked in my opinion. BUT our server (I can’t remember his name) he was awsome!!! This guy was great!

   Good food, nice servers. A bit noisy. It is inside a casino, but it is located in a secluded corridor. I had the filet mignon and herb mashed potatoes. My husband is vegan. He had the grilled mushrooms, asparagus and hand cut fries. Everything was tasty including the sweetened iced tea.

   Our waitress, Kennedy was excellent and over came a couple kitchen mistakes with grace . Filet might be the best we’ve had ! Cooked perfectly and great quality . Salad, soup and complementary bread selection was good as well. Wine etc … recommend if you don’t go to the casino !

   I think my biggest issue is that they are trying to be a Ruth’s Chris but not focusing on the customer service. I shouldn’t have to beg for a water refill or ask for bread. The waiter had too many tables and his assistant was no where to be found.

    Service was good.Spoke to Asst Mgr regarding water they gave us taste bad and they had ran out of asparagus.No salad came with the me.For being classified as a top notch restaurant I was a bit disappointed. The server did make adjustments on the bill for the water I had to buy and asparagus issue,which was nice

    A sure bet for a great dinner with an inviting atmosphere and top service. We had a fantastic evening with a group of friends in the private room area and the staff was very accommodating. They took care of us so well that we will be returning soon and tell others. The steaks are perfect and the sides are divine!

    First time there and the experience was beyond expectations. The host was pleasant and guided us professionally to our reserve seats. Waiter was knowledgeable of food choices as well as conversation with a smile. What top all expectations...was the food. Lord, Jesus I need the cook to come my house. EVERYTHING we order was delicious, flavorful, mouth watering exceptional. Truly exquisite that we had to slow down eating. Definitely a place everyone should go. This will be me and my husband place of choice for ourselves and friends and family

    So disappointed in Admirals Steak House!!!! This is supposed to be high end?????? NOT....Celebrated my B'day with my Daughter and Granddaughters and my daughter had to send back her steak 4 times...ordered medium..came out raw...2nd time medium rare..3rd time still medium rare..4th time partially overcooked and partial still rare...lame excuse about training a new cook...blah blah blah...a $200 dinner ruined by incompetence...DO BETTER!!!

    Overall, this Restaurant is very well-designed. The lighting , floor plan, the exterior decor and interior decor , the plating and utensils , wine glass and even their water dosen't taste like tap and thats important coming from a strict Alkine water daily drinker. The food was absolutely remarkable. Our server waiter and server were stellar. They were two gentleman , one named Jermaine , he was so good and so professional and organized our utensils to accommodate our meal. I had the 6oz (0.23 kg) well done fillet mig and it was mouth water soft and seasoned to perfection my beautiful wife to be had salmon fillet steak, and we shared two sides , the garlic mashed potatoes and lobster mac n cheese, large enough for two. We were comfortable and not feeling bloated after our meal. And the meal was affordable for a Class A restaurant. My two issues was #1 the sweet young lady who welcomed us was too "by the book" I asked for a quiet booth, and she told me I couldn't due to our party not being 4 or more. Here's the thing , they were busy, this was not a Holiday weekend , don't tell customers no. Number #2 the music was pop it needs to be classical instrumental not the best of Brittney Spears , we in PTOWN play lite soft Jazz instrument or vocal. The music sets the tone and it showed me the management is not into music. If we are going upscale , upscale the music. Music is just as important as the food. Nobody wants to hear Elvis while dressed business casual , sipping wine and having filet mig... other than those two things i give this restaurant overall 5 stars.     We had an amazing meal and appetizers! The raw oysters were the perfect size and temperature as they were nesting on a bed of ice. The varied choices would fit anyone's idea of dinner. Our table had the Cowboy ribeye, lobster, sea bass and lamb chops. Each and every entree was superb! The service was excellent! We'll be back!

    The restaurant itself looked very nice. It was modern and classy. The service wasn’t terrible, but our waitress wasn’t the best. The food itself was good. The steak had a nice crust to it, but was extremely fatty for the price. The soups were okay. The asparagus was undercooked.

    Ther service was ok. I don’t believe our server even told us his name. We had ordered the Caesar salad and our server said it would be easier for him if we just had it made in the kitchen instead of table side. Our soup was cold and thick. They forgot to put dressing and cheese on the salad . The steak was burnt and dry. Our sides didn’t come out until we weee almost done with our main meal. Definitely one of the worst steakhouses I have been to. I would not recommend coming to this restaurant.

    Thank you for making my birthday dinner amazing! The food was incredible. I loved the scallops, calamari, and all of the sides! The cheddar jalapeño bread and honey butter!! Yum! The seafood was delicious and top quality ! We all got different things to try and it was outstanding! Our server was very knowledgeable and kind, and took care of us when one of the girls meals came out wrong. She helped us pick the best items on the menu, and the other staff kept our table clean and waters full. I would definitely come back for a date night or another girls night out. The manager sent out glasses of champagne for us to celebrate, which was really the icing on the cake.

    Our wait service was commendable. The medium rare Tomahawk Steak was perfection. We shared it among three of us with the individually selected & separately-priced sides. The rest of our items were good but not so much so to compel us to return considering the final price on our ticket. Be aware that the casino gets a big cut added to your tab. The tables were quite small for all the tableware used among the four of us. We had to manage arrangement of it all and one water glass ended up crashing to the floor as a result. If money is no object at all then you may want to try this place for the food and the service but the ambiance is just OK and some of our menu side items were no better than some less pricey spots around here.

    My wife and I wanted to check out this new restaurant in Portsmouth’s casino, it’s online menu looked pretty good as did the advertised experience. Pros: - everyone in staff was friendly and welcoming - nice wine list - nice menu - nicely decorated dining room - my wife’s Halibut was excellent! Cons: - dining room a little noisy due to mostly hard surfaces (flooring, etc.) - room was pretty cold (probably because it was so uncharacteristically warm two days before?) - service; entrees were brought to the table before the appetizer, the server took them back to, ostensibly, have them remade later - Calimari, although flavorful and fried, it was soft/limp and the accompanying sauce not anything like a marinara - entrees when they came out my Ahi Tuna was virtually raw though I had ordered it to be medium, when j sent it back the server (not our server but the one from adjoining station) said it would be remade, when it came back to the table it was the same entree just cooked additionally - service; although our server was pleasant, she gave our table the minimum attention (we were one of the few couples/parties dressed appropriately for the venue too), she never checked back with us after entrees brought to table the second time making us have to flag down another server to address our issue. After that our server intentionally ignored us, walking by our table to the table behind ours intentionally looking away and not saying another word to us, very strange behavior when we had not complained to her or about her to anyone at that point. Her behavior was inexplicable to say the least. At the end of service we requested to speak with the the manager, we explained our experience to him. He was very gracious, and when he found our check had not been adjusted due to the earlier issues, he took care of it, much appreciated although we didn’t expect that. He explained he would coach our server to help her improve. Which we agreed was the right approach.

    Oysters were extremely expensive for the size and oysters locally are relatively inexpensive. Food was expensive but pretty good.234$ including 30$ gratuity was damn expensive for two people and my wife’s birthday. Probably can’t afford to pay that amount again any time soon.     Service was great but the food was not. We had to send my husbands burger back twice and still was not right. Calamari was too salty and not good at all. Granted I didn’t get charged for the calamari due to it being the last item coming to the table after all the items that we ordered came and gone. They took 50% off my husbands burger since he ate the second burger even though it wasn’t cooked correctly…he was starving he just didn’t want to send it back again. The onion rings and Brussels sprouts were delicious though but that’s about it, they also had a dozen of oysters. Our friends also had the Salmon, Rib Eye & Lobster Mac n cheese they said it was ok. I don’t think we’ll be coming back here again double whammy for me for this restaurant & the casino.
