The type of restaurant that is proud to remind customers that this is pure transactional. The menu has so many rules that feels like you are buying the place. If you want to sign an affidavit to eat cold eggs and burned coffee here is your place!

I am vegetarian and my best friend has celiac disease and this is the first time we've ever been somewhere where between the two of us, we could eat the whole menu. The food was absolutely amazing (we even ended up ordering extra to take home) and the service was phenomenal. The atmosphere was really welcoming and the inside of the the restaurant was decorated very warmly. The outside seating was also a nice plus. 10/10, we will be back every time we visit Denver. (Also the prices are very affordable given how unique the food is)

One of me and my BFF's favorite monthly dinner spots, we love the food and the staff have always been super friendly. The 2hr time limit is a bummer if you like to hang out and catch up, but the fantastic food and drink keeps Acova on our rotation!

Our first time there. Three courses, all incredibly good. Elote, a takeoff on Mexican street corn was the best ever. Calamari in a tomato broth with toasted French bread was a unique and tasty treatment instead of breading and frying. Pan roaster red trout with potato wedges and a side salad was perfectly prepared. And their "Broadway Lobster Mac and Cheese" had incredible cheese flavor. We finished with a huge serving of the Bread Pudding desert with caramel sauce and ice cream. The service was impeccable. Perfectly timed and properly attenuative. Great orchestration by the staff where some focused on drinks, others on running dishes to tables, and a few on taking orders and checking back with diners. We will definitely be back.

What an enjoyable evening. This is definitely a great place to take friends, sit at the bar and watch a game, or even take a special someone out for a date. During the warmer months they have a fantastic patio to sit on. The staff from start to finish were friendly and welcoming. My SO and I started off with their calamari dish dish, which was served in a light tomato-based broth with just enough seasoning to make it a must try. For dinner, we shared the scallops dish, the Pupusa and Gnocchi appetizers. We enjoyed every bite, though, my favorite dish was the Pupusa appetizer. We finished up our meal with a chocolate flourless torte served with vanilla ice cream, and a sprig of mint. Definitely worth a visit.

For restaurant week, it's a Really good deal! The food was good. bar was a little slow. It was pretty busy and seems like that is usual. Had the blackened salmon (rice was a little dry) and short ribs, which they split for the 2 of us. The mussels and gnocchi were good.

Nice charming atmosphere, wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Food arrived promptly and was visually appealing. And the taste was amazing. I had the short ribs, which were so tender they fell apart, my wife had the pupusa which was well balanced and the corn- cooked to perfection. My cousin had the trout which was filtered and stained lightly as to not over power it, and reasonably priced

We went for the first time during restaurant week. I’m always excited to try new restaurants but should remember that restaurant week is usually not a great time to experience a new place, since it’s not typically their best delivery of service or food. We went early on a Sunday and got seated right away. We ordered cocktails and were very happy with our drinks. A+. Then we ordered appetizers. I tried the muscles and my friend tried the gnocchi. The gnocchi had no flavor and needed lots of salt. The muscles were good, but the juice was spicy, which I liked, but many people don’t. We then ordered our main dishes and weren’t thrilled with either the salmon and risotto or the short ribs. Next was dessert and we tried the berry cobbler and the bread pudding. The berry cobbler was mostly berries and ice cream and they forgot the cobbler. The bread pudding was fine, but not fantastic. All the food was just underwhelming. Since the restaurant is close and the prices were really reasonable and the ambiance was nice, I’ll definitely give it another try when restaurant week is over.

Food was very bland. I got the turkey panini and it had little to no flavor. The drinks were decent but nothing special. Our server was very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was nice and welcoming. However I would not recommend Acova because the price I paid did not reflect in the quality of the food and drinks.

We came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. For fun, we ordered one of every appetizer to start and every single one was DELICIOUS! The drink menu didn't disappoint either. Plenty of craft cocktails, again all delicious with no bad choices between the 5 of us. There are plenty of great main entrees to choose from, with an array of gluten free options and a server who was very knowledgeable about food allergies and how to accommodate them (five stars for the GF lobster mac). Great ambiance, fantastic service - we would come here again. Highly recommend!

We had very high hopes based on other reviews, but ended up with mixed reviews on the food. Though we had a reservation weeks in advance (coming from out of town), we were asked to sit in the bar area and had to request a table away from the door (though there was an open booth). The calamari, pretzel bites and stuffed poblano pepper were excellent. One of the 2 steaks ordered was gummy, but they were very accommodating and switched it out. Unfortunately, our friend didn't enjoy the short ribs either. The service was very good overall.

The food was just okay at best, standard bar fare. My favorite part was refusing to chop up the salad when we requested it so we didn’t have to navigate it at a small table. Apparently the presentation was more important than the feasibility of eating it. My fish & chips was awful. I couldn’t really find any fish and basically just ate breading and fries. My co-workers seemed okay with their meal but it wasn’t anything extraordinary.

We had the best time at this restaurant. First of all, there’s so many gluten-free options. Amazing. Our server Megan was incredible. She has celiac so she helped me along the way to make sure I got the right thing in the best taste. I like that she offered ideas even when we were thinking about it everything from food to dessert and we were fed, served and happy the whole night. Thank you Megan!!!
