The 94th Aero Squadron is the most romantic restaurant. It overlooks the Miami airport where young And old like to watch the planes taking off or landing. It’s modeled after an old French farmhouse during WWI There are pictures all around the restaurant taking you back to heroic times.
Chef Gabriel Del Valles serves excellent food that makes everyone come back for more. He is constantly bring new and exciting dishes to your table to add to the most popular items on our Menu.
The Sunday Brunch is full of all ethnic types of cuisine and includes favorites like eggs benedict, Belgian Waffles, smoked salmon,shrimp , crab legs,lamb shank, Ribs etc.etc. Unlimited champagne and mimosas Are served with it.
The lunches can be quick in and quick out with great buffet or you can Leisurely sit and order off a menu.

Turkey dinner was cold all splashed together turkey, stuffing mashed potatoes corn bread not very appetizing. The white meat was dry and dark meat did not like. My granddaughters ribs had to be returned since they were cold too!!. We go at brunch time and love it but this dinner was very dissapointing. Best part was the bread, corn bread and pecan pie. Servers were amazing not their fault.

The restaurant was open for Thanksgiving, close to where we were staying and able to accommodate our reservation request, which we greatly appreciated. We were seated timely and service from staff was good. Our only disappointment was with the quality of food. I requested the filet mignon cooked medium, which came out medium rare. (In our experience it never is beneficial to send the dish back, so we didn’t). My husband ordered the Prime Rib and is familiar with how it should be prepared. He also ordered it medium to medium-rare (range), however it came out over cooked closer to well done and was obvious it had been made at least a day before and then put on the grill (grill marks), to heat up. Both dishes came “prefixed”with vegetable medley and mashed potatoes, which would have been great, however they were garlic mashed potatoes (garlic not mentioned on the menu), and the garlic was excessive to the point we couldn’t eat them. Also just to make others aware, No dinner rolls or salad came with the meal and gratuity was already added to the bill. Overall we appreciated we had a place to eat on thanksgiving but the value for the price just wasn’t there.

Thanksgiving Day buffet mid afternoon seating. Food selection was good. However, we were disappointed when we went to get coffee and dessertsnd the stations were closed. It would be helpful to communicate what time they close the buffet, both at time of seating snd when they sre about to close. Not the best communication especially for new customers.

Our reservation was for 2:30 PM for Thanksgiving brunch. By 3:41 PM everything was being cleared, so we didn’t eat the money’s worth. They no longer serve hash browns which was a disappointment.

I had not been to Squadrons in a decade but I always had great memories of the food and place. However, this time unfortunately the food wasn’t as great as the past. Our appetizer was amazing (the escargot) but our entrees which were the churrasco and rack of lamb were just ok. The meat quality in churrasco wasn’t the best and it wasn’t very tender. The service was good and the dessert was good. They went out of their way and brought my son a birthday sparkler which was nice. For lunch, it was a little pricey I would say. We paid $120 for lunch which I don’t mind spending had the quality of food been worth it. Also, the restaurant itself needs some updating. It seems a bit dated and the Aroma when you walk in the door dates the restaurant even more. It’s sad to see such an iconic Miami restaurant go downhill. Hopefully it will get revamped and reach its prior status.

I had not been here in quite some time and frankly, did not have very high expectations, but the menu had me intrigued. HOWEVER, the service, the ambiance, and most importantly the food…was outstanding. I will most definitely come back very soon and many more times to come. Highly recommend.

This restaurant is quite unique. We sat in the quieter lounge section and a lot of the tables directly face the runway of the airport. Tables further back have the option of using provided headphones to listen to air traffic control. The food and service were both excellent, would I return? Yes definitely.

We had a long layover in Miami and saw this place and the ambiance looked really cool (and it’s super close to the airport). Service was really good and the food was amazing. The only thing I wish the server or someone would have told us about was the headphones to listen to the control tower. We didn’t know anything about them until we got back to the airport. That would have been cool for them to let us know those were available. But everything was amazing and we’d definitely go back!

I thought the air strip was closer…you really can’t feel or hear planes taking off, barely just seeing them in the distance. And the windows are small so not the best view anyway if seated on the upper levels like we were. The brunch buffet offerings were plentiful with unlimited mimosas @ $45. Service was good at the other tables but our waiter never appeared again. They had an omelette station offering waffles, bacon, sausage and potatoes which had long lines but the wait wasn’t too bad. Further down is a breakfast station of coffee and pastries, leading into cold salads, then hot entrees, and ending at the carving station. Adjacent is the paella and seafood station, and desserts are in the corner area. A few things were good but most looked better than it tasted. There was live music and being in Miami they catered a lot of the music to the Cuban/Latino turned karaoke clientele. Quantity not quality, unlimited mimosas and live music keeps this place very busy!
