We enjoyed our meal, service great, food tasty. Wall was dirty and lighting so subdued it was difficult to see when kitchen lights turned off. Overall the room seemed like it could be cleaned properly.

As it was our anniversary we were greeted by a member of staff who immediately wished us Happy Anniversary. Patrick came to our table remembering us from previous visits saying it was nice to see us again, confirming our names. The food and service was excellent as always, the Manager very attentive and they treated us to profiteroles as an Anniversary gesture.

I have been at 1909 several times and as always the food is very nice. Staff are very attentive. My only criticism and I did speak to the manager about it, plates could be hotter so as to keep food warmer for longer, they were tepid on arrival. I return again. Good selection of wines

We dined at 1909 during the Lobster Festival, and I ordered the Lobster and Prawn Roll. The amount of lobster and prawn on the roll was really sparse. I showed a staff member and I was given more lobster and prawn mix. My partner had a cheese burger which was average. Over all the meal was average and over priced.
