   Food was amazing and the service was even better. Our server went over the top with service and made the night super enjoyable. From appetizers to desserts the food was amazing, a must try is the injeolmi dessert as that topped off the night. 11/10 would come back again

   Great fusion food with delicate and intricate tastes and combinations of French and Korean but the cocktails were very weak with alcohol. And the service was subpar. Being situated at Yorkville I’d expect better service. The waiter did provide a few recommendations and speak about the menu but after ordering our drinks they didn’t clear the table of wine glasses when no one ordered wine and left it there. They also knew we had a stroller and I spoke to them on the phone about having an infant in a stroller at the table and they still situated us upstairs when there were plenty of empty tables downstairs with spacing to fit a stroller. And at the end of the night they turned on all the lights rushing us out when we haven’t even ordered desserts yet. For the price of the food and the location I would expect more from this restaurant.

   Restaurant ambiance and interior did not match the price or location. Service was quite poor and untrained. Seasoning was very intense, particularly for Korean food. Felt more similar to Chinese seasoning. Was a rather disappointing experience.

    We were seated at the table next to the kitchen stairs and it was very disruptive having the servers running up and down constantly. We asked to move and it was only when manager got involved that she was able to move us to another table after the other staff told us it was not possible. (Multiple tables were empty during our stay which was frustrating) Also pretty shocking to see a yorkville area establishment allow their staff to wear dirty white running shoes. Lightbulbs were almost all burnt out, restaurant is no where near yorkville standards. Short rib was good but came cold, you could taste the hardened fat. Must have sat out for a while as our server told us our short rib was ready almost 15 min before it was served to us. The manager brought us a dessert on the house due to the issues that occurred. Place has potential but won’t be back.

    They had a coat rack but didn’t take any guest’s coats. They took a long time to take our order so we gestured a staff over, he said he’ll be back shortly to take our order but didn’t. We had to gesture to another waiter after a bit. The food is good but the overall balance of taste was off. The Earl Grey cocktail didn’t taste like Earl grey but more like a cough syrup, which also wasn’t mixed well and all the syrup were left at the bottom of the cup. Mid price range but not impressed.

    Overall satisfied with this Korean fusion restaurant. We tried quite a bit on this menu including beef tartar, chicken wings, jook, halibut and squid noodles. Great presentation of the dishes, lots of traditional Korean flavors mixed into the ingredients but also with a modern twist. E.g the squid ink noodles plays a creative edge on a traditional Korean dish called jajangmyon. Instead of black bean sauce, they used squid ink and instead of noodles used squid. I quite enjoyed the creativity thinking “how are they going to spin this dish?” Customer service was pretty good. Server seemed to know the menu inside out along with the ingredient to each dish. She was friendly and attentive. One thing I could mention is that portion sizes are small. They are small but packed with flavor.

    So I went here for my birthday. Had a reservation at 8.30, got a table at 9, they gave us a glass of prosecco and a temperory table for the delay and I was starting to ease in but then nobody came to take our order till 9.30, anyway when I finally ordered, they said our table was still not ready so we just decided to stay where we were and placed our order, as compensation they gave us dessert on the house. Now about the food, the service was super fast, almost no gap between the courses, I already had wasted an hour hungry so I personally didn't mind but I guess some people could've felt rushed. We started with the oysters which were super fresh and the baby gem salad which was great too, the star of the appetiser section however was definitely the beef tartare we ordered. Perfect textures and flavors. For the next course, we had the mushroom jouk and added truffle to it, I thought personally that the parmesan wasn't enough salt and the risotto was a little watery but the truffle saved the day! Finally, we ended with their injeolmi mousse which was very unexpected and took us by surprise! I want to give this place a 3.5 but there is no option to do that hence sticking to the 3! Go here if you are in the area and get their beef platter for two, it seemed like a house favorite!

    The service was great, the server was personable and attentive. The restaurant was cute, I would say fairly average for a higher end atmosphere. The food itself was good I wouldn’t say it was amazing. The menu was very small and the price for portions was very high and personally not worth the cost. It is worth trying but personally I wasn’t blown away.

    Do not come. The service is terrible. We went there for dinner today and it was extremely difficult to find a waiter/waitress. There was lipstick mark on my cup (i wasn’t wearing any makeup), and there was another dirt on the outside of my boyfriend’s cup. It took me almost 5 minutes to find a waitress and tell her about this. When I told her there’s a lipstick mark and I haven’t touched the water, her first reaction was to check if I had make up on. I can understand where this is coming from but still I’m offended. Then when the bowl (for the Jook) came there’s another dirt on the edge of it. Do they not wash their dishes or what 🙃 I cannot imagine the hygiene condition when there’s three items dirty in one meal.

    It was my first experience with this restaurant. I had an impression that all the food + side dishes were meticulously prepared to create the optimal dining pleasure. Manager was very kind to take our reservation note into consideration. Staff were kind & helping. Would definitely revisit for another occasion :)

    Plate decoration is very nice, Food is tasty but the restaurant allows people talks very loud. It was a group of 6 people sitting in the dinning room, talked very loud which was not matching the restaurant style, I felt it was a bar. server lack of smile

    Food was delicious but on the expensive side as expected in the city. The music was quite loud which made heading conversation at the table but they were happy to lower it for us. The 48hr beef short rib was delicious and highly recommended.

    I went there for a girls night out with recommnadation. It was a Friday night and we arrived at 5:30pm. We ordered a bottle of wine and almost everything on their menu (they have a small menu) and we really enjoying the food. After about 2 hours, we still have not finish our last dish, and was about to order dessert, a lady, could be the manager came over and ask if we are done. She than continues said they don‘t expect each table stay more than 2 hours and offer to pack what we have not finished. We were shock as we were never told when we made reservation, nor when they seated us about the 2 hours limit. We feel that we are being push out and totally ruined our night. It is very unprofessional to ask your guest to leave while they have not finished the food and it is also extremely inappropiate to limit the time without notify your guest in advance. You are located a the most up scale area where we totally don’t expect this kind of service. This will be our first time and also the last time, and will not recommand your resturant to anyone.
