Quiet enough on a week night to talk comfortably, maybe because it wasn't full. Very good service(except for attending to water glasses). Food not as outstanding as other times. Butternut squash soup was ordinary, crab cakes were very good but accompaniments were just OK. Liver always good. Dessert also fine, with good house made ice cream. MoreOpenTable Diner -

Surrounded by architecture from the Classical Revival and Late Victorian periods, Manayunk is a historic Philadelphia neighborhood situated on the edge of the Schuylkill River. Manayunk has a unique American flair that is reflected in many of its best restaurants. In recent years, Manayunk has attracted renowned chefs who specialize in New American cuisine and creative culinary twists. Since Philadelphia is located near the fertile farms of Upstate New York, farm-to-table restaurants are also popular in Manayunk. Both visitors and locals regularly enjoy dishes made from fresh ingredients that are sourced from areas within 200 miles of Philadelphia. Upscale restaurants that overlook the Schuylkill River often serve fresh New England seafood. Manayunk is well-known for its diverse American fare, including New Orleans-style dishes and Carolina barbecue.
