Patzeria Family & Friends
We first visited here several years ago when we were in NY for the Macy’s parade. We wanted to come back but hadn’t been able to do that until this trip. It was everything we remembered and more! The people are so welcoming that you are made to feel like you are a regular. The food is out of this world and the service could not be better. I’m pretty sure that every trip to NYC will now include a visit here.
Great food consistently! I’ve been here a few years ago and then again tonight and the food was delicious both times.
Great place for a quick bite before going to a show. Alittle tight space. Food was delicious. Fresh ingredients. Portions were a good size.
Great little place away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square. I was desperate to have a calzone while I was in NY and Patzeria didn’t disappoint! Best one I’ve had, incredibly light dough! Superb
Food was absolutely amazing. Initial greeting to get drink order was slow but the rest of the experience after was great.
We went to this restaurant for the first time last night for my daughters' birthdays. Not only was the food delicious but the staff was amazing as well. They are all so friendly and we all loved every bite of our meals. We will definitely be back!
Great food and great value for money !
Only thing I would say is if you are visiting for a special occasion like we did - 1 year wedding anniversary - do not go during busy times if you are wanting a romantic dinner . Although we did specify on our booking that it was our anniversary we ended up eating at the bar as the table we were put in was basically a table of 4 split into 2 and we may as well have had dinner with the couple next to us we were that close.
Food was delicious and I would definitely go back but not at a peak time as it didn’t feel like an anniversary dinner sat at the bar.
What a great place to have dinner before catching a show! The food and service was excellent. The shrimp scampi and spaghetti and meatballs were yummy. Not to mention a nice selection of wine. Loved our dining experience.
Pizza was incredible, great little restaurant which we have visited a few times now on our visits to NYC. Gets very busy, so would recommend booking. Extremely friendly service. Highly recommend!
We found this restaurant by pure luck as it was recommended as a hidden gem among the many Italian restaurants - and the tip was not wrong. The staff are very friendly and attentive from the moment you arrive, making you feel very welcomed. Food - AMAZING!! We started with the Garlic knots (a must have) followed by pasta.
Overall - fantastic value for money, well worth the visit and be prepared to leave with a very full stomach :)
Pizza was lovely. Partner had the lasagne which tasted a little bland. Just needed a little seasoning, But overall, lovely place.
The best pizza. Veal special and chocolate lava cake were to die for. Overall wonderful place to go.
Went to Patzeria(made reservations the night prior) before seeing a Broadway show. Food was great. Large portions and fresh ingredients seemed to be the norm. Would recommend and will return if back in the city.
Chicken Marsala was delicious! Tiramisu for dessert was great too!
I ordered the Shrimp Parmesan. It was really good. The portion was just right!! I would definitely go back!
Just off the beaten track and it's a treasure. Fantastic service and fantastic food
We were a group of 8....the food was delicious, service great, relaxed, casual setting to talk and enjoy!
Consistent go to place when in Hell’s kitchen. Excellent service and food. Also, Bartender makes a great martini!!
Delicious food at a fair price. Good portions served hot and fresh. Service was excellent!
Beautiful meal in very pleasant surroundings with friendly staff
Great service great pizza. Stopped in for last minute lunch and couldn’t be happier. Thanks.
Excellent service. Food was good.
The Chianti was not so good.
We were staying in a nearby hotel and kept walking by this place. I made a reservation based on other reviews and we were not disappointed. The seating is tight but that kind of adds to the New York ambience. We had the lasagne pizza and it was very good with a light crust that was delicious. It was quite filling so make sure you ask for it in a medium if there are only two of you. All the other pizzas looked great too. The hardest part in choosing what to order was narrowing down the choice as there were so many options that went well beyond pizza.
It was my wife’s birthday and we had a lovely time. The waitress was very helpful and polite. The food was excellent, and the ambiance was lovely too.
Great spot - went here with my family before we went to see the Book of Morman. Fab garlic knots and great pizza - really good for all the family (both my kids are teenagers)
It is my favorite go to place in NYC when traveling with friends. The food is always great and the service is wonderful. It is a small restaurant and the staff is always great.
Very good meal for a very good price.
First time visit! Loved the family feel of the restaurant and the food was amazing!! Highly recommend eating here.
Tortellini with tomato cream sauce was outstanding.
Pizza with Very hard and biscuit dough, like a cracker
In town from the Chicago area for a week looking for good pizza. We found it here. Ordered the Neapolitan style pizza. The crust was light and crispy. The sauce was great and the cheese was nice and gooey. Probably the best pizza I've had outside the Chicago area and better than more than a few there too.
Service was great. Food came quick. The place and a nice, cozy, neighborhood type of place feel. If I go back to the area, I will definitely be back for the pizza.
Food was very good. Service was outstanding. Our waitress made suggestions from the menus and we were very pleased. Would come here again.
Holiday visit to the Patzeria based on tripAdvisor recommendations and it was well worth the great reviews it had been getting.
Great service - warm, welcoming staff who instantly made us feel at home, followed by fantastic food served promptly.
No rush to get us out of the door when we were finished either.
Shame it's not a little closer to home - but they ever think about relocating to Nottingham, UK, then we'd go back in an instant...
This is our second visit to Patzeria and we were just as impressed as the first time. Excellent and attentive service with delicious food at a very reasonable price for the city. Close to many theaters which makes it a great pre-show dinner stop.
Classic Sicilian pizza is simply one of the best I have ever had. It’s a little pricey for pizza but worth every penny. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great meal.
It was our first trip to NYC, and we searched for good Italian restaurants near our hotel. Patzeria Family & Friends came up. We were able to make a reservation for five people at the time we wanted. We went to the restaurant a bit early and were able to be seated immediately. The atmosphere was warm and cozy and the food was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we will definitely go back to Patzeria Family & Friends the next time we're in NYC. It was a great experience.
Very tasty and real food. Would recommend to all Italian food lovers.
Great little place for dinner in NYC! There were five of us and each of us loved our meals. Service was a little slow with water refills, etc. But overall experience and value was very good. Would definitely recommend!
We needed a casual restaurant in the theatre district and decided to book at Patzeria because of location and reviews we read on line. The restaurant was packed pre-theatre but all the staff were really hustling. Our waiter (Igor I think) was friendly and checked in occasionally. Busboy was courteous when clearing or refilling water glasses. Food was delicious...from baked clams to veal Parmesan and tilapia. The pasta was righteously al dente and dessert (key lime pie) was great. Will return!
