   What a great job of expanding the restaurant and bar! Jon has done a wonderful job of remodeling and opening up the space. The service and food are as good as ever (try the just added Cuban) Stop by the bar and hang out with Kristen, she’s one of the best bartenders in town. Pairings is a gem!

   Fantastic. We had a group of four adults for dinner. The service was outstanding and food was incredible. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to make sure we understood the menu and the options for the wine pairings. My oysters were without a doubt the BEST and largest oysters I have ever had! My steak was perfectly cooked and delicious. The manager came to our table to introduce himself and was very welcoming. The rest of my party had the same high opinion of their food and drinks. 5 Stars! We can’t wait to go back!

   Usually we have a very good experience at Pairings but last night not so good. They didn’t have the whiskey my husband usually gets with his drink. The cream of crab soup (our favorite) was lukewarm. The bistro steak was chewy. We ordered carrot cake and it was dry and tasteless and looked like a small brownie.

   We're new parents and I was looking for nice place to take my wife out to for some 1:1 focus. Pairings was a great choice and I apologize for not thinking of this place more often. We truly enjoyed our meal and the service was very friendly. No issues or complications. We spoke about the visit with friends and will likely return to their bar because it looked so inviting.

   Always Always a great date night! One of my all time favorite places to eat… tried the Brie flatbread this time… so delicious!!!! My only wish was that the Brussel sprouts were on the menu EVERY DAY… I know it’s all seasonal but nobody does Brussel sprouts as good as Pairings Bistro…😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

    The seating was in the back left room which had a unique ceiling fashioned as if it were a curved wine barrel. Numerous beautiful unique local artwork displayed on walls which most are for sale. I ordered onion soup and hubby had crab soup which were outstanding. My soup had a nice broth with generous onions, a thick slice of bread and cheese melted. Crab soup had lump crab in soup plus a small condiment cup of crab in sherry, also served with warm bread. The scallop entree had seared large 7 scallops surrounded by cubed sweet potato or butternut squash. So yummy! Rockfish special entree was equally succulent. We enjoyed all including ice cream sunday of black cherry ice cream from a local creamery. Love this place!

    Went there to celebrate my friends bday. We were greeted by Eric, our Server, with a glass of prosecco for each of us to mark the special occasion. We ordered the wine pairing 3 course meal. Everything was delicious and we loved the wine selected for us. Eric was wondeful in timing the courses so we didn't feel rushed or forgotten. Overall our experience was positive and I would definitely come back

    Great service and great food. The oysters Rockefeller were perfect and the whipped feta was delicious. Scallops and steak for main course were great and the wine pairing experience was an added touch.

    My wife and I have had really good experiences with this restaurant, hence our re-booking. Alas, this visit was subpar. Food and service were good as usual, but the live entertainment was awful, causing us to box up our dinners, pay the check, and flee.

    Food and pairings were excellent. Pricey for the serving portions, but excellent in quality and flavor. Our server was excellent, but it was obvious they were short staffed. The wait time between seating, drinks and courses was long, but the food arrived hot and was delicious. Our server was very gracious and courteous. Had one vegan entree, but no vegan starters, no vegan salads ( unless the dairy or meat was removed) no vegan deserts. The casual Ala carte had more vegan option, Flatbread pizza and a hummus plate

    This was our first time here. I was here for a Valentine’s Day lunch with my husband. We arrived at 12:15 and we’re not done until 2:10. The food was absolutely delicious, but it came out very very slowly. I think there was only one server for the entire restaurant and although she was friendly and fabulous it took way too long to get every part of our meal. The restaurant was not swamped by any stretch, I just wonder if they didn’t have enough help today. We will come back and hopefully it doesn’t take two hours.

    Good food as usual as well as drinks and wine. Mila greet us warmly and was attentive throughout. Eric our server was knowledgeable and helpful. We reserved early so we wouldn’t feel rushed. When we left at 7, the place was hoping. I would suggest that the hostess dress a bit more. She was very pleasant but had on a ski sweater. A gentleman working the dining room looked very sloppy. He seemed to be in management which was disappointing! I know you’re not a white tablecloth restaurant, but your food, ambiance and great staff deserve better.

    Haven’t been here in about 8 years. Everyone raves about it but maybe a lot of people have an unsophisticated palate or it was just an off night. I travel extensively and entertain clients up and down the spectrum of restaurants. Salad was very good , crème brûlée as well, it was the in between - main courses. Choosing the Carbonara seemed like a safe choice for my wife who really enjoys that dish. It’s was so salty that it was literally inedible. I thought she was overreacting but I agreed, no traditional carbonara flavors could be tasted through the overwhelming taste of salt. I rolled the dice on the cut of meat being used in the steak frites. It came on a very large pile of fries that were very dark and again, loaded w salt. I love salt on fries so it wasn’t terrible but very salty. I asked the server if this cut of meat would be good if I was going to order it rare and he assured me it would. I definitely didn’t come out rare, more medium rare but I wasn’t sending back both dishes on our valentines date night. I was just at a Shula’s last week and got a NY rare and it came out exactly as I asked for. The cut of meat used was decent though it prob needed some accoutrements to pull it together. My other complaint - $20 for a old fashioned in Harford County is an insult. $16 is where that should land. Likely give it another show sometime when it’s not a holiday to see if the experience is better

    It was our first time at Pairings Bistro and it was truly a very good experience. We had superb service from the time we walked in the door. Our waitress made us feel very comfortable and well attended to. The food was delicious and fresh. The pairings were superb. I have already started to spread the word to my family and friends that this is definitely a place to visit again and again.

    Eric was a great server. He had quite a few tables but still managed to take care of us. Steak and chicken were very good. Carne Flatbread awesome. Crab dip and crab soup were delicious. Another lovely evening.
