We had to postpone this anniversary celebration a number of times, but the experience was well worth the wait. The greeting by the owner was warm and welcoming. The service was attentive but not overbearing - perfect! The house cocktails we ordered were delightful and the wine sold by the glass was exceptional. The filet entree was perfectly cooked to medium rare as was the duck. Asparagus frisee salad was perfectly dressed. They were able to spilt it for us - no nice. We opted for homemade ice cream for desert and it was served on a plate where a talented calligrapher wrote "Happy anniversary" in chocolate. Also delicious! We'll definitely be back. Thank you Kimberton Inn for a perfect 20th anniversary celebration. More

Meal was wonderful, note the coffee cake with almonds and cinnamon was the best. Duck is hard to make. Exceptional flavor with no fat. More

Excellent dinner Sunday evening. Depth and complexity of flavors was exciting. Our server was lovely and attentive, but not obtrusive. Our first time back since the change from Thai Elephant and we will return many more times. More

We were a table of 4 and each of us thoroughly loved our meals! The cauliflower soup was exquisite, the artichoke agnolotti were delicate and delicious and the sauce lemony - outstanding! I had the hangar steak with cremini mushrooms, which was cooked perfectly medium rare and was served over smoky mashed potatoes. Others had the soft shell crab, the pork butt steak, and the salmon. All were raving successes. We also enjoyed the spicy carrot cake and the brown butter cake for dessert. Honestly, this was one of the top 3 meals I have ever had. (On a par with Geoffrey Zakarian's Lamb's Club and Alex Guarnaschelli's Butter, both in NYC.) This thus far undiscovered restaurant is a true gem. Highly recommend!! More

Discover Phoenixville

Phoenixville, once home to the Phoenix Iron Works, a prominent iron manufacturer that gave the borough its name, has transformed from a major industrial center to a thriving, modern community within the Philadelphia/New Jersey suburbs. This historic neighborhood is known for its cafes, breweries, and traditional American diners. There are plenty of options, including Italian bistros, Thai cuisine, and Indian and Mediterranean restaurants. If you’re looking for more of a local touch, there are several brewhouses and Irish pubs that are located in the city. And since Phoenixville is only half an hour from Philly, you can still find an excellent cheesesteak sandwich.
